ANDREWS, Anne (nee Seniw)
Died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on December 15th, 2001. Loving mother of Martha (Philip Sofronas), Ruth Andrews and Scott (the late Judith McElligott). Dear grandmother of Marianna, Niki, Jeffrey, Sara, Sabrina and Samantha. Great-grandmother of Dylan, Keith and Chelsey. Sister of Stephen (Olga), Mary Yashan and the late Peter (Olga). Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the doctors and medical staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Sunday and Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the chapel on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m., thence to Mount Royal Cemetery.

ATKINSTALL, Astley Uriah
Went home to be with the Lord on December 15th , 2001 aged 89 at the Henri-Bradet Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Blanche Atkinstall and former husband of Zetella Bingham. Loving father of Carl (Merlene), Lydia, Glaister (Patricia), Beverly (Fitzroy Maitland), Patricia (Clinton Ritchie), Vanderbilt, Lorna, Paul and Alice. Survived by twenty-six grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces , nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Wednesday December 19th 2001, from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday December 20th 2001, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 6215 Cote St-Luc Rd, H3X-2H3 (corner West Hill) on Friday, December 21st at 11:00 am. Family will receive condolences at church from 10:30 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. L. Mazella and the third floor staff for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church or the Henri Bradet Nursing Home (6465 Chester ave., Mtl., P.Q., H4V-2Z8) would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Sacré Coeur Hospital on December 17th, 2001 in his 82nd year. Dear brother of Irene Mosdell (Bert)and uncle of Linda and Melanie. A memorial service will be held at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home Chapel, 5301 Decarie blvd., (corner Isabella), on Friday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

HARRISON, Richard Graham
With great sadness we announce the passing of Dick Harrison, with dignity and courage peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, December 05, 2001, at the age of 74. He leaves to deeply mourn his love and soul mate Dawn Bonner. Very devoted and proud father of Linda Harrison (Gary Messenger), Sandra (Claudio Grisolia) and Peter Harrison (Deb). Loving Poppy to Taylor and Mackenzie Messenger, Jasmine and Devon Grisolia and Sarah Harrison. Great step-dad to Heather (White), Christine (Alan MacGillivray) and Brian Bonner (Nancy) and wonderful Poppy to Matthew and Ethan White, Conor, Liam, & Keelan MacGillivray and Melissa and Dylan Bonner. Brother of Pauline Loverday (England) and predeceased by Stephen, Bernyce and Joan. No visitation, a memorial service in the presence of his ashes will be held Friday, December 14th, 2001 at 2:00 pm at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 3400 Connaught Street, Montreal West. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dick's memory to the Old Brewery Mission, P.O. Box 1445, Place d'Armes, Montreal H2Y 3K8 or to a charity of your choice. Many thanks to Dr. A.P.H. McLean, Dr. S. Burdette-Radoux and Dr. J. Hughes for their great dedication and a very special thank you to Claudette Surpris and Helene Archambault and others from the CLSC-NDG/Montreal West whose generous support from the heart was such a great comfort and so apprecieted.

In Montreal, on December 3rd 2001, in his 88th year. Life partner for 67 years with Lucille (Dupont). Father of Joy, Michael (Gisèle), Peter (Jennifer) and George Jr. (Cathy). Proud grandfather of Susan, Cathy, Liane, Steven, Caroline, Meagan, Patrick, Jordan, George III, Mackenzie. Granpa George to five great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers and sisters Geraldine, Mildred, Gertrude, Joseph, Theresa, predeceased by Ellen, Bernard, Gerald, John and Howard. Had a lifetime involvement in real estate with St-Francis Realty, United Trust, Royal Trust and past president of the Montreal Real Estate Board. Member of Victoria Rifles. Co-founder of Meadowbrook Golf Club. Member of Kanawaki and St-Andrew’s Golf Club. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly funeral parlor, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella), on Thursday December 6th 2001, from 2-4pm to 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Ascension of our Lord parish (corner Sherbrooke St. West and Clarke Ave., Westmount) on Friday December 7th 2001 at 12pm, noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedars Cancer Institute of Royal Victoria Hospital, (687 Des Pins Ave. West, Montreal, P.Q., H3A 1A1) would be appreciated.

MACINTYRE, John William
At St-Mary’s Hospital on December 11th, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Marino. Loving father of Bill and Heather (Walter). Dearest grandfather of Alanna, Lauren, Mitchell, Jacqueline and Vanessa. Brother of Mary, Alec and the late Donald. Besides family, Jack’s great love was baseball. He was first baseman for the Montreal Shamrocks after his service in WWII. Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. FRASER, Elizabeth Coll
At home on Monday, December 17th, 2001 in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Albert Scott Fraser, mother of Scott (Rachel) and Joan (the late Neil Ivory), step-mother of the late Elizabeth Maclatchy. Also survived by six loving grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Private funeral service. Donations in her memory to Sun Youth would be gratefully appreciated.

MANTHORP, Gladys Ellen
Passed away on December 2nd, 2001 at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Survived by her sisters Edith Pierce and Doris Dow and predeceased by her brother George Manthorp and brothers-in-law Alex Pierce and George Dow. Also survived by her nephews Martin Pierce and Ted Manthorp and her nieces Linda Pierce (Richardson), Debbie Pierce (Kimpton) and Ann Manthorp (Smith). Especially beloved and sadly missed by her nieces Patricia and Catherine Dow. A private funeral service was held. In her memory, donations to the Mount Sinai Hospital Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.

Nonno Freddy passed away Wednesday, January 23rd, 2002, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Nina (Antonina Bartolini) for 59 years. Loving father of Ronald (Eva) and Robert (Diane). Loving grandfather of Lara, Candace, Mark, Ashlee and Laurielle. Brother to Nina (Fiorelli). Predeceased by brother Joe, Leo, Armand and sisters, Helen and Grace. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Cardiac Unit M5. No visitation. Lovingly remembered by her sons Roger (Andrée) and Roland (Penny), her grandchildren Glenn, Tracy, Adriana and Ricardo and her brother-in-law George Nincheri (Terry). Cherished friend to many who remember her as a concert pianist and piano teacher whose boundless energy inspired all. Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on July 13th, 2003 in her 86th year. Wife of the late Paul Frentz Sorensen. Dear mother of Margaret (Simon Lagimodière), Janet (Brian Delo), Charles, Peter, David and Matthew (Julia Clarke). Loving grandmother of Sarah and Michael Lagimodière, Jennifer and Heather Delo, and Hannah Sorensen.
