COHEN, David (ben Yoseph ve Rivka). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. David passed away peacefully, at the age of ninety-six, at Mount Sinai Hospital, on Friday, October 19, 2012. He was the loving husband of Thelma (née Mandel); father and father-in-law of Nadene and Jack (Solomon); Zaidie of Brahm, Shauna and Steven (Lazarovitz); and great-grandfather of Olivia and Matthew (Lazarovitz). A very special brother and brother-in-law of the late Allan and the late Rae Cohen, the late Gert and the late George Silverman, the late Esther and the late Adolph Rozalinsky, the late Toby and the late Aaron Freed, Bryna and the late Ted Rudner, the late Maytie and the late Max Sivkin, the late Adele and the late Joseph Braunstein, and the late Alice Henderson. He was a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews. His gentle and loving nature will be forever cherished by all those whose lives he touched.
