Ralph Milton Kinghorn (1921-2008) passed away suddenly on August 2nd, in his 88th year. married 56 years, to the day, to Lucy Rose Stewart. He was the son of John Milton Kinghorn and Verna Mary (May) Scott. Left to mourn his loss, his wife Lucy, son John, and his daughters E. May and Marlene (Nicki). He will be greatly missed by his only two granddaughters Torrey May and Kasey Rea of Ottawa. He also leaves behind a sister Reta Godwin (Fred) and his nephews, Robin Godwin (Carol) and Constable Gary Godwin (Miranda). We celebrate the many accomplishments of Ralph M. Kinghorn. He was a proud World War II Veteran, serving for the Royal Canadian Engineers overseas. He was a prized employee for the B.F. Goodrich plant in Waterville for 32 years. He was also a passionate and well renowned gunsmith for many years. He was known far and wide for his expertise in all firearms old and new. A small intimate service to celebrate the life of Ralph M. Kinghorn will be held at the Cass Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 6th. A visiting hour will be held from 3:30-4:30pm with a short service thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Megantic County Historical Society, Inverness, Quebec, G0S 1K0.
Kezar Morrill, Elsie
At home on Melbourne Ridge, April 26, 2008, age 81, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Albert Kezar and the late Exzilda Stebbins. Predeceased by her husband, Neil Charles Morrill, her brother Percy (Edythe), and her sisters Ellen (Robert Little), Ella (Lewis Johnson) and Pearl (Wallace Swallow). Sadly missed by her six children, Linda (Alan MacDonald), Nancy (Garry Goodwin), Barbara (Gerald Achilles), Eric (Maryse Nadeau), Bruce (Heather Blowers) and David (Linda Sonenburg), 15 grandchildren, Robert, Alison, Shannon, Bobbie Jo, Toni, Cheryl, Anita, Kevin, Steve, Philippe, William, Jessica, Katelyn, Sheri Ann, and Travis, and 7 great-grandchildren, Devon, Madison, Hailey, Kelsi, Hunter, Clayton and Chenelle, and also by many other relatives, former students and friends. Keenan, Dennis William
Died at home on March 9th, 2007, with his family at his side, beloved husband of Agnes Enright, dear father of Kathleen (Gérald Pelletier), Patricia (Heinz Adank), Alanna (Howard Gossack), Shannon (the late Pablo Crépeau), Maureen (Mats Lindhé), Timothy (Maria Enright), and Patrick (Sean Tan) and proud grandfather of Katrina, Michaela, Daniel, Nicolas, and Nathaniel Keenan-Pelletier, Christopher and Alexander Keenan Adank, Matthew, Kira, and Ryan Gossack-Keenan, Kelsey and Noémia Keenan-Crépeau, James, Leigh, and Anna Lindhé, Devin, Brogan, Ryley, and Kianna Keenan. He was the son of John Keenan and Alice Commuskey.
He leaves his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Bernard Enright (late Isobel), Ethelyn (late Eddie Vautier), Mary (late Clair Enright), Marilyn (late Martin Enright), Ossie Enright (late Betty) (Velma), Joe Enright (Rolande) and his nieces, nephews and cousins, including Bernice McAdams Smith (Fred Smith) and Carmelle McAdams (Claude D’Avignon).
He was predeceased by his only brother, Norbert (Elsie), his cousin Bernard McAdams (Irene), and by his infant granddaughter, Kate Keenan.
A man of integrity, Dennis was quiet-spoken, with deeply held beliefs. He cherished family and friends, the land, and his Irish-Canadian heritage. He gave generously of his time and talent to many community organizations.
He never missed a family celebration, the Richmond Fair, or a St. Patrick’s Day party. He had a special affinity for horses, books, Celtic music and homemade food.
He made friend and stranger welcome, gave to all who asked for help, never gave up on anyone, person or animal, and was always ready to trust, to hope and to endure.
Visitation on Monday, March 12, 2007 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00, with prayers at 8:00 p.m., and visitation on Tuesday, March 13 from 12 to 12:45 pm. at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond, Quebec. (819) 826-2502

Harrison (Bishop), Marlene
Marlene Harrison (née Bishop) died suddenly on October 4, 2015 in Stanstead, Quebec at the age of 61. Marlene is survived by her parents Lloyd and Rheta Bishop of Stanstead, QC; her partner Rick Rosendaal; her children Jared Harrison (Amy), Lindsay Chizen (Justin) and Andreya Rosendaal (Dominique); her precious grandsons Deegan and Arthur; siblings, Heather Gillam (David) of Alliston, Ontario and Tammy Dupuis of Derby, VT; former spouse of James Harrison (Cathy) and wonderful extended family, including Larry Rolleston (Lynn) and many friends. Healy Thorne, A. Mabel
"Miss me, but let me go" A. Mabel Thorne (née Healy) died peacefully at home on Saturday, the 22nd of August 2015. Mabel is survived by her children, Phil (Line), Andy (Johanne) and Diane (Alex); siblings, Kathleen, Helen, Donald (Esther), Dorothy (Ronald) and Robert (Nancy); grandchildren, Adam, Tyna (Patrice) and Andrew, and great-grandchildren Jessica, Calista and Maeva. She is also survived by her sister in-law Harriet, Adam’s mother Bertha (Len), and numerous close friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband George, daughter Cathy (Pierre) and her siblings Ken and Margaret. Mabel was born on the 23rd of June, 1929 in Danville, QC to Harvey and Bertha Healy. She spent her early life living in Danville, Asbestos and Richmond in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She and her family moved to the West Island of Montreal and she enjoyed working in accounting at Fuller Tool for several years. In her retirement, she took great pride in tending her gardens, had a passion for ‘Scrabble’, and enjoyed a weekly game of cards with friends. A funeral is scheduled for noon on Sunday, the 4th of October at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC H9S 3X6, with a reception and luncheon to follow. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather M. Philippe (Buddy) Houle. Son of the late Phil Houle and Kathleen Stratton. Survived by his loving wife Monique Chartier, his loving children: Nicole (the late Jean Loslier), Jeannette (Danney Sisco), Cécile (Luc Tardif), André (Lucie), Lise (Rock Gagnon), Réal (Brigitte) and Suzanne; his grandchildren Andrew, Jennifer (Blake) Angela (Sylvain), Adam, Monica, Megan, Patricia, Sylvain (Becky), Kathy, Stéphanie (Kevin), Vanessa, Vicki (Luc), Mélanie (Éric), Ashley (Matt), Samantha, Nicolas (Tanya), Tommy (Marie-Eve), Cynthia (Steve), Kevin (Audrey), Chloé (Joseph), Nadia (Raphael), Jesse, Cody and Paige. He also leaves to mourn his 12 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Mary, Barbara (Raymond Anderson) and his brother Bobby (Cindy). He is predeceased by Francis Descoteau (Nancy), Catherine (Malcolm McLelland), Pearl (Robert Holden) and Bernadette (Ivan Catchpaw). Passed away at the C.S.S.S Memphremagog on Friday, July 10 2015 at the age of 54. Beloved husband of Carole Lachance and cherished father of; Danny, Jennifer, April, Louise and Nathalie. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren. Precious son of Elizabeth and (the late Velmore.) Loving brother of Scott (Lina) and Randy (Niki). Barry will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mandy is survived by her brothers and sisters Gene Hodge (Cathy Hodge), Donald Brown, Florence Wilson (Jerry Wilson), Darlene Hodge and predeceased by her brothers Russell and Scott Brown.
