Passed away peacefully at the Argyll, on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late John Robert Ross and dear mother of Donald (Heide Meier), Dale (Patrice Stevenson), Linda (Danny Fiore), Jane and Jeff (Lucie Caron). Monica also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Resting at the St-Patrick's Church, 20 Gordon St. Sherbrooke, on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11 am to 12 pm followed by the funeral service at 12 pm. Father Doyon officiating. Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice.

Quinn, Thomas
Passed away on March 15, 2012 in his 95th year at Connaught Home in North Hatley, QC. Beloved husband for 70 years of Ruby Ann Jones who predeceased on June 18, 2010. Loving father of son Gary Quinn (Anelise) former daughter-in-law (Andree), and of daughter Sandra Kinkead (Gordon), dear grandfather of Kimberly (Yvan) Darlene, Claudine (Bob), Christine (Christopher) and Thomas. Dear great-grandfather of Kevin, Vanessa, Quinn, Aidan and Paige. Tommy is predeceased by four brothers Joseph (Norma), Jack (Bernadette), Alfred (Rollande), Edward and one sister Elizabeth. Also left to mourn are many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), QC J1M 1T9 (819)564-1750 www.cassshomes.ca. Visitation on Saturday March 24, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by the service in the funeral home chapel. Pettigrue (nee Gelinas), Estelle
Passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Friday, August 5, 2016, her 100th birthday, at the Wales Home, Richmond, QC. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Robert Pettigrue.

Estelle is survived by her daughters Carol (Jeff Dunn) and Linda (Maurice Pettifer), her grandchildren Craig Dunn, Steven Dunn, Jennifer Dunn Monardo, Joel Schmidt and Martin Pettifer, as well as her fifteen great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside memorial will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, QC at a date to be determined.

Estelle’s family wish to thank the Wales Home and the many dedicated, professional staff who, for over fifteen years, have made the Wales Home truly her home.

Painter Westgate, Verna
March 15, 1908 – July 17, 2016

After a long and active life with family and friends we are sad to announce the passing of Verna Caroline Westgate on July 17, 2016 at Grace Village, QC.

She was the daughter of William Painter and Florence Patton, and was predeceased by her loving husband Maple Westgate in 1982. Dear mother of the late Mailin Westgate (Mavis), the late Patricia Westgate, Norma (John Gill), Ilah (Bruce Batley), and Linda (Leslie MacLeod). Verna was the loving grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Shirley (Ted Darker).

Visitation at Cass Funeral Home, 50 Craig, Cookshire, on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 7 pm to 9 pm. The funeral service will be at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 45 Principale West, Cookshire, on July 23, 2016 at 2pm, followed by interment in the Island Brook Cemetery.

Memorial tributes in Verna’s name can be made to the Dr. W.J. Klinck Foundation, 1501 rue Campbell, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0C1.

Lockwood, Sylvia (nee Perkins)
Passed away peacefully on Thursday November 12th, 2009 at the CHUS Fleurimont hospital in Sherbrooke, Sylvia Lockwood in her 76th year. Wife of the late Bert Lockwood, and dear mother of Judy, Rick, and Debbie. Sylvia also leaves to mourn, her brothers Murray (Betty) and Mac (late Marlene), her brother-in-law David Lockwood (Bev), along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graveside service will be held in the Danville Protestant Cemetery on Tuesday November 17th at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Andrew O’Donnell officiating. Suddenly on her 86th birthday, October 12, 2009, Remona passed away peacefully at West End Villa, Ottawa, Ont. Beloved wife of the late Franklin Hearn. Predeceased by her brother Russell (Evelyn) and also survived by her brother-in-law Allen Hearn (Rosemarie), nephews and nieces Collin, Clayton and late Carol Laberee, Scott and Sharon Stickles, Mark Hearn and many great nephews and nieces.
