Passed away peacefully in Richmond on December 6th, 2007 in his 92nd year. Son of the late Harry Armstrong and the late Roxina Brown. Loving and devoted husband of 65 years to Pearl Patrick. Lorne is also survived by his loving children, Dennis (Linda), Lynn (Sharon), and Donna (Mario Jolin). Much loved and adored grampa of Lindsay (Trevor), Derek (Michelle), Erik, and Marie-Lisa. Dear brother of Pearl Kidd (late Harold Kidd) and brother-in-law of Marjorie (late Percy Frazer). Lorne was pre-deceased by his sister Beatrice (late Roy Blanchette) and his brother Keith (late Myra Crawford). He also leaves to mourn his many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principale S., Richmond (819) 826-2502 , where friends may visit on Friday December 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A celebration of Lorne’s life will be held in the Richmond-Melbourne United Church on Saturday December 15th at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Valerie Kennedy officiating. Interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery will take place in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff of the Foyer Richmond for their excellent care and compassion during his illness. A special thanks to Dr. Natasha Vincent, Pascal and the entire team at the Richmond CLSC for their devotion to Lorne. Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Thursday, November, 29, 2007, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Galen Martin, and dear aunt of : Gayle McAskill, Colin Brock, Carla Wilson and Beverly Goodsell. Alvala will also be missed by her sister-in-law Elinor Martin Gibson along with other relatives and her friends at the White House. Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at Christ Church in the spring. Anderson, Gladys Clarke (Chris)
Peacefully at the CSSS Memphremagog Hospital, Magog, QC on Tuesday, September 11th 2007 at the age of 94. Gladys Clarke Christison, beloved wife of the late Cyril Anderson, and dear mother of Robert (Jackie) and Sheila; cherished grandmother of Sean, Jennifer and Shannon Hyatt and Natalie; great grandmother of Logan Hyatt. Gladys was the special aunt to Margaret (Robert Woollerton) and is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and many friends. The funeral service will be held at the St-Barnabas Anglican Church, North Hatley, QC, on Saturday, September 15th 2007 at 11:00AM, with the Rev. James Quirk officiating. Lyonnais Smith, Mary Rose
Passed away at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Monday, October 18, 2010, at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Oral Smith and cherished mother of: Johnny (Belinda Hayward), Diane, George (Elaine Roberts), and Raymond; Mary Rose (Joe) will also be sadly missed by her ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, along with her step-great-grandchildren, brothers Amy (Ellen), and Wilfred (Bertha), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her children Kenny, Arnold, Linda and Jessica, as well as her sister-in-law Yvonne (the late Alfred Greenwood). Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead 819-876-5213 where friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Lapointe, Claude
It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Claude Lapointe on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the age of 67. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Claude died at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Claude was the son of the late Jean-Claude Lapointe and the late Gertrude David. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Monique Le Roux, his sisters Constance (Michel), Claire (Gilles), nieces Danielle (Charles Grill), Michelle (Michel Allard), and their children Justin, Nicolas, Gabriel, Tyler and Harrison. He also leaves to mourn his aunt Rita Hinse Lapointe, many cousins and friends.
Claude served as the Director General of the Dixville Home for twenty years. Claude's courage and determination served as an inspiration to all of us who knew and loved him.
Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, where friends may visit on Friday October 22, 2010 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm., and on Saturday October 23, 2010 from 10 to 10:45 am. The funeral service will be held at St-Mark Chapel on Bishop University campus on Saturday October 23, 2010 at 11am. Interment will take place at the Malvern Cemetery at a later date.

Lewis, Percival Robert (Bob)
It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Lewis announces his passing after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 69 years at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu in Sherbrooke. He was an only child. Mr. Lewis was born June 29, 1941 in Montreal. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children Robert and Marc (Kathleen), and his granddaughter Georgia Grace. Archie passed away peacefully on June 10, 2017 in his 90th year.
He was the beloved husband of Marian (née Kyle) and dear father of:Deane (Connie), Lori (Tim), Holly (Mike), Lee (John) and the late Allan. Archie leaves to mourn his grandchildren: Kieran, Korie, Kristin, Rhys, Rebecca, Curtis, Megan, Danielle, Jamie, Matthew and Christopher and his great grandchildren: Liam, Alexis, Amelia, Owen, James, Caleb, Gemma and Ridley.
In respect of his wishes there will be no visitation and a private service will be held.

LeBaron, Frances
Peasefully at the CHUS Hôtel Dieu Hospital Sherbrooke QC on Thursday March 5, 2009. Frances LeBaron a long t ime resident of North Hatley. She was the beloved daughter of the late Bert B. LeBaron and the late Alberta Lambert. Frances was predeceased by her two brothers Eric and Stanley. She is survived by her niece Elizabeth LeBaron.
