At the CHUS Fleurimont, April 1st, 2017, Mr. Bertrand Martel, husband of Alberta Morse, son of the late Laurette Longpré and the late olive Martel.
Visitation will be held at the Résidence Funéraire Windsor, 310 St-Georges, Windsor on Saturday Mai 6, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm. Followed by the service at 1 pm. Burial at a later date.
Mr. Bertrand Martel leaves to mourn his son Francis and his step children Michel, Deanna and Adrien, his grandchildren Amanda and Sara. Bertrand was the brother of Pauline (Fernand), Georges (Dianne), Rollande (André), Thérèse, the late Jean-Marc (the late Rachael), the late Richard (Lenis), Rolland (Diane), Madeleine (Marc), Francine (Robert), Lise and Luc (Ginette). He also leaves to mourn his in-laws Roseleen (Keyworth), Elaine (Douglas) and Aylmer and also many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Marlin (née Stewart), Dorothy Pearl
February 9, 1918 - March 3, 2017
Dorothy Marlin of Waterville, Quebec passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017 at Grace Village. Loving wife of the late Elwood Marlin.
Loving mother to James (Celine), Sylvia (David) and Terry (Lynn). Cherished grandmother to Melissa, Genevieve, Marc, Jennifer and Ryan, a great grandmother to Adam. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews, her sisters Lucy Kinghorn at Grace Village, Edna Stewart-Beattie and Doris Clouston at the family farm in St-Pierre Broughton.
The family wishes to thank all the staff of the Grace Village for their kindness and care and special friend Linda Pelser.
A private graveside service will be held at Malvern Cemetery at a later date.
Morrison (née Pope), Helen Elspeth
February 7, 1917 - February 12, 2017
Helen passed away on February 12, 2017 at the age of 100, at the Centre de Santé in East Angus, Quebec.
She was the loving wife of the late Gordon Wadsworth Morrison. She will be deeply missed by her son John. Helen was predeceased by her son Michael.
Helen was a long time resident of Sherbrooke and a member of St. Peter's Church and St. Georges Church choirs. For approximately 30 years she was employed as a secretary to the late Mr. Joseph E. Casaar. She was an accomplished cook and loved to entertain. Another favorite interest was following professional tennis matches.
Special thanks are extended to the staff at The Centre de Santé for their attentive care.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Montreal, where she resided for about 20 years, at a later date.

Lowry, Geraldine (nee Phyllis Geraldine Blanche Forgrave), peacefully on Monday, September 5th 2005 at the Maison Aube-Lumière, Sherbrooke, in her 93rd year." Gerry " Lowry, wife of the late Hazen A. Lowry and dear mother of Daryl (Elizabeth) Vergennes, VT, USA, Dawn (André Théoret), Sorrento, B.C., Terry, Calgary, AB, Brian (Marilyn), Uxbridge, ON and Jill (Germain Boutin), Island Brook, QC. Loving Grandma of 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Hazen, her oldest son Duane, a grandson Lawrence and her brother Grant. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Gareth Forgrave and Helen Johnston and sister-in-law Evelyn Forgrave, many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10th at the Argyll Pavillion in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his loving wife, Donna Hillhouse. Cherished father of daughters Joan (Frank Saunders) of Logan Lake, BC and Patricia (Yvon Mayer) of Brockville, ON, grandchildren Leslie (Marsy Saunders) of Surrey, BC and Robin (Don Campbell) of Prince George, BC, step grandchildren Rachel (Jamie Padbury) of Spencerville, ON, Natalie (Michel Menard) of Apple Hill, ON, and Patrick (Silvia Stadelman) Mayer of Green Valley, ON, and great grandchildren Owen Saunders and Kyle Campbell. Dear brother of the late Flossie Allatt, Ruth Sullivan, and Russell Leslie. He also will be missed by his sister-in-law June Leslie, many nieces and nephews, as well as many other long time friends and associates. Beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Harriett (Wright) Learmonth of Inverness, QC. Much loved sister of Marion Annesley (Dufferin), Everett (Lorraine Kelso) and Helen Nobes (late Eric). Very dear aunt and auntie to many nephews and nieces. Son of the late William Liddle and the late Annaetta Bathurst, and brother of the late Clive (late Peggy), Maurice (late Cecile), the late Lilian Urquhart, Ida (James Duranceau) and the late Edna (late George Hudson) Basil also leaves to mourn his many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
