Passed away at the Asbestos Hospital, on Sunday February 28, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late William Frank Skuse and cherished mother of Judy, Sylvia (Laird Lyster) and predeceased by baby Brenda. Grandmother of Amanda (Ryan) and Andrew. She is survived by her brothers Austin (late Anne), Delbert (late Edith), Gilbert (Margaret), Graydon, sister Marguerite (Doug Beaucage) and predeceased by Marjorie, Grace (late Burton Hughes) and Reta (late Alton Burton). She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Cass Richmond Funeral Home, 295 Principale S. Richmond, on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 10 to 11 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am in the funeal home chapel. Rev. Mead Baldwin officiating. Interment will take place at the Danville Protesant Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fondation CSSS des Sources, 475 3e Ave. Asbestos, QC J1T 1X6 would be appreciated.
Lyster Lynch, Jessie
March 14, 1920 – January 12, 2016
Passed away peacefully at the Wales Home, Richmond, QC. Predeceased by her beloved husband Marcus, sister Marian and brother Franklin.
She is survived by her brother John, children Patricia Gorman and Ned (Diane) Lynch. Jessie will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Don, Miriam (Rob) and Philip (Caroline), and her great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Wales Home for their dedicated care and compassion.
As per Jessie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Walker Coates, Thelma
Peacefully at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu, on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 75. Thelma May Walker, beloved wife of the late Edgar Coates and loving mother of Gene, Dale, Hank, Lawrence, Patricia, Mona, Della, Wyatt and the late Dave. Thelma was the cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Thelma is survived by her brothers and sisters, Martha, Wendall, Douglas, Sharon, Dwayne, Raymond, Ray, Rodney and the late Nelson. Thelma will also be sadly missed by her "aunt Lee" and also by her many nieces and nephews and many friends. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 50 Craig St. S. Cookshire, where friends may call on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Rev. Wanda Dillabough officiating. Interment in the Bury cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Thelma's memory may be made to the chairty of your choice.
Taylor (née Hannan), Mary Jessie
Passed away at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC in her 85th year on January 2nd, 2017.
Wife of the late Herbert Taylor. Mother of Cynthia (Chris Leahy) and Michael (Joanne Besmargian), grandmother of Matt (Angela McIntosh), the late Reuben, Luke (Stephanie Boyd) and Abe Leahy (Katie Quirk), Rebecca, Bridget (Kristofer Smith) and Evan Taylor and great grandmother to Taylor Leahy. Sister of the late Doris (the late Royce Taylor), Edmond, Joyce (the late Robert Burns), May (the late Carleton Morrill), John (Louise Morin), the late Joseph, the late Stanley (Barbara Rutkowski), Betty (the late Richard Mason), Joan (Maged Beshai), William (Mireille Picard) and the late Walter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Sarrasin Ramond William in his 84th year at his tree plantation in Compton on Friday, July 29, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Thérèse Demers. Cherished companion of Gail Garfat. Predeceased by his sisters Maude and Joyce and his brothers George and Ewin. Raymond "Red" is survived by his sister-in-law Doris (Edwin) and brother-in-law Howard Dewing (Joyce). Respecting his instructions cremation and no visitation or service.
Stuart, Douglas
: Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Monday, at the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog on Monday July 11, 2011, at the age of 80. Cherished husband of Marina Paquette and loving father of Paul (Cathleen), and the late Michael. Adoring grandfather of Erica (Mathew), and Breeanna. Douglas will also be sadly missed by his brother William (Marjorie), and sister Irene, along with his brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and many friends. There will be visitation in the presence of his ashes at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead 819-876-5213 on Sunday, July 17, 2011, where friends may visit from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. A service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, followed by interment in Mont Ste. Marie cemetery. The family wishes to express their most sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff on the 6th floor of the C.S.S.S. Memphremagog and also to the local ambulance technicians for the kindness and wonderful care given to Douglas. As a tribute to his memory, donations made to the C.S.S.S. Loving husband of the late Jean Page, and loving father of Helen (Gary), Shirley and Arthur (Laura). Cherished grandfather of 9 and great grandfather of 4. After a short hospitalization and surrounded by family, George (Nick) died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in his ninety first year from complications of pneumonia. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Enid Harwood Carter. Dearly loved father of Judith Webster and devoted father-in-law of her husband Philip, Remembered with love and affection by his grandchildren Stuart (Claire), and Emily (Johanna) and cherished by his great-grandchildren Julia and Siena and his dear Matthew. He will be missed by his many special friends who he so enjoyed. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 16th at 2 p.m. at the Massawippi Union Church, Massawippi Quebec. Passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Sherbrooke on July 27th, 2012, at the age of 65. He was the son of the late Kenneth Cross and the late Doris Beattie. Dear father of Carrie-Anne, Tina and Mark, and cherished grandfather of six grand children. Also left to mourn are his Brother Milton (Ginette) and his sisters Margaret and Roberta.
