Mrs. Joyce Richard
January 17, 1930 - July 20, 2007

Passed away peacefully at the age of 77 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe-Claire on Friday, July 20, 2007.

Predeceased by her husband William Louis Richard.

Joyce will be sadly missed by her children Sheila (Nromand Castonguay), Barbara (John Blomdahl), Bob (Cathy Mallet), and Russell (Denise Molloy), her grandchildren Jennifer and Kenneth Richard, Jean-Philipe and Cynthia Castonguay, Laurie and Emma Blomdahl and Lauryn Richard as well as by many other relatives and friends.

A heartfelt thank-you to all the wonderful staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their compassion and care.

Family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, DDO, on Tuesday, July 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 25 at 10 a.m. followed at 11 a.m. by a service in her memory.

Donations to the Lakeshore Hospital Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Mr. George Sobers
December 9, 1918 - July 30, 2007

SOBERS, GEORGE
1918-2007

Suddenly passed away on July 30, 2007 at the Anna-Laberge Hospital.

Devoted father of Juliana, Jeffrey, Trevor, Gregory, Cheryl (Paul Gonzales) and Ian (Manon).

Proud grandfather of 6.

He will also be greatly missed by the mother of his children Ena Sobers as well as by many other relatives and dear friends.

Family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Donations in his memory to the Montreal Association for the Blind would be appreciated.

Mrs. Kay Rattray-Leblanc
September 3, 1934 - July 23, 2007

Passed away on July 23, 2007 at the Lakeshore General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving daughter of the late Doris and Stewart Rattray of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Beloved wife of Jim LeBlanc.

Loving sister of Keith (Heather), Karol (David Murphy), Kristine (Stephen Hurlburt).

Sister-in-law of the late Bernice (late Peter MacDonald), Olive (Victor Dawson), Eunice, Lorraine, Andrée (Richard O'Mara), Lucille (André Deveau) and Lorne (Sharon).

She will also be missed by many other relatives and dear friends.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Geneviève Richer and Dr. Henry Jay Biem and all the wonderful staff of the Lakeshore Hospital for their loving and gentle care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Mrs. Frances Newman Cunningham
October 10, 1917 - August 13, 2007

Our beloved mom went into the arms of her Blessed Mother Mary on Monday, August 13th, 2007 at the age of 89.

Beloved spouse of the late William Cunningham.

She will be sadly missed by her children Janice, Gary (Lesley), her step-grandson Aaron, her siblings Marion, Edward and Theresa, her brother-in-law Doug (Anita), her sister-in-law Mariette, her 'Cornwall' buddy Scott, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She will be remembered for her generosity and compassion by her dear friends at Manoir Kirkland, her bingo buddies, and all who knew and loved her.

We would like to express our special gratitude to Sharon from the Lakeshore General Hospital for her care and compassion.

A funeral service will be held at St. Brendan's Church, 3542 Rosemont Blvd, Montréal, on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 9 a.m. followed by the interment at Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, to the M.S. Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Mrs. Helen Ann Monaghan
September 1, 1927 - September 5, 2007

It is with great sadness that Helen's family announce her sudden passing on September 5, 2007, peacefully at her home.

Helen Ann Monaghan (nee Simboli) was in her 81st year.

Helen who original hailed from Montreal and Rockwood, currently resided in London.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband James Harold (Bob) Monaghan and her daughter Donna Marie Monaghan.

Loving and devoted mother of James and his wife Pamela, Sandra and her husband Paul Brunet, Catherine and her husband Stephen Rancourt.

Proud Nana of Shawn, Scott, Stephen and Shayne Monaghan; Marc and Angela Brunet; and Daniel and Jacob Rancourt.

Predeceased by her parents Duilio Simboli and Maria Coscia and by her siblings Ida, Irene, Danny and Tony.

Survived by brother George Simboli and his wife Kelly; and Audrey and her husband Allen (Bob) Spence.

Survived by sister-in-law Pat Simboli.

A special aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road East, London (at Highbury) from 7 to 9 pm Friday and 12 Noon to 1 pm Saturday.

Funeral service to be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 1 pm. Cremation.

A reception to follow at the Funeral Home.

Memorial service and interment to be arranged in Montreal at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Mr. Ryan Patrick Doyle
June 10, 1983 - September 21, 2007

Ryan Doyle passed away suddenly on Friday, September 21st, 2007 at the Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of 24.

Loving son to Colleen Doyle.

Loved by Elicia and father to Adain.

Brother to Kevin, Luke and step-brother to Christopher and Stacey Whitehead.

Ryan will be missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Nicholl's Funeral Home, 330 Midland Ave., Midland on Wednesday, September 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Thursday, September 27th from 10 am-12 noon.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 27th at the Midland Alliance Church, 829 Yonge St., at 12:30 pm.

A trust fund has been arranged at the Bank of Montreal on Fred-Grant Street, Barrie in Ryan's name.
