BOUSFIELD - Donna Marie (nee Corbin) late of Weyburn, SK passed away on February 16, 2001 at the age of 35 years. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Weyburn, SK. with Mr. Arnold Kozak officiating. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to the Watchtower Bible and Track Society or a memorial fund for Ashley and Haley. Arrangements entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Chapels Ltd. Weyburn, SK (842-5432).

BATEMAN - Mabel Muriel of Lakeside Nursing Home, Wolseley passed away March 29, 2001 at the age of 81 years. She is survived by four children: Marilyn, Grant, Carter, Miles and their spouses; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; one sister; Ruby Paton; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 2, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the Whitewood Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Whitewood.

COUSINS - Jessie Christina "Isabel" (June 14, 1904 - February 26, 2001) Isabel was born in Ellisboro, Northwest Territories (Wolseley, SK) in 1904. She attended Normal School in the fall of 1922 and obtained her teaching certificate. She met and married Floyd Cousins, also a teacher, in 1926. She enjoyed life, made friends easily and loved to be around people. "Mom never worried about the little problems in life". She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd, in 1978 and her youngest son, Tom, on January 9th, 2001. She leaves to help celebrate her life her son, Don (Kathleen) and their son Todd (Kenapha) of Saskatoon; daughter-in-law, Colleen, and her two sons, Jared and Brett of Rocanville; daughter Shirley Jean Whitford and her family of Saskatoon; and her niece, Joan (Sig) Larsen of Radville. A Celebration of Life service will be held in McClure United Church, Saskatoon on April 4th, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Interment of cremains will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family of Jessie Isabel Cousins wishes to thank family, friends and acquaintances for their kind words of sympathy and condolences. They also thank the staff and administration of Saskatoon Health and Home Care, and Oliver Lodge for all their work and effort in making Mom happy, comfortable and content in her last days. Arrangements in care of ACADIA DRIVE FUNERAL CHAPEL (955-1600).

Predeceased by his grandson Karl, John is survived by his wife Nellie; one son, Harry (Betty); two granddaughters Tracy and Julie; sisters: Ann, May (Ab), Pauline, Pearl, Margaret, Betty (Bill); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 2, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina with Rev. Lawrence Folk presiding. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Fred; and brother-in-law Albert Walter, Wilbert is survived by his daughter Debbie Colibaba (Russ Wilson) of Regina Beach; sisters Eleanor (Steve) Sterenka, Lorraine Walter; brother Raymond (Eileen), all of Regina. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, April 2, 2001 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Riverside Memorial Park. FLEMING - Ty (Ronaus) Fleming, third in the Flemchuk crew, died tragically on April 1, 2001 in the City of Regina. Ty leaves to mourn his two sons, James and Anthony in Alberta, brother Jack (Brenda) Fleming, brother Guy Fleming, sister Shila (Kyle) Forster, sister Destiny Marchuk, (future brother-in-law Gord Currence), brother Steele (Vanessa) Marchuk, mother Dixie (Harry) Marchuk, Ma & Pa, Carol and Lyle Mann, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held (Tonight) Wednesday, April 4, 2001 from 7-8 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel and a farewell party will follow at the Seven Oaks. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

GONDA, Anne-Marie (Stahr),

GONDA - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne-Marie (Stahr) Gonda on the morning of Sunday March 18, 2001. At the age of 68 she had lived a full life, giving to those around her as wife, mother, grandma, friend, nurse, teacher, traveler and volunteer. Never did she ask for anything in return but smiles and laughter. She was born January 7, 1933 in Arborfield, Saskatchewan to John and Franziska Stahr. She is survived by her son, Robert (Wanda) of Dalmeny and her daughter, Stephanie of Pusasn, South Korea. Also left are her brothers, Rudy (Lea) of Boswell, BC., Bert (Anneke) and Freddy (Melba), both of Australia. But, left to miss their grandma and her cookies, magic bags and after church lunches are her twin grandsons, Kendric and Jordan who were an unending source of pride, joy and love to her. Her husband Carl predeceased her in 1983. In lieu of flowers it is Anne-Marie's wish that donations be made to St. Thomas More College Memorial Fund. A Wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday April 6, 2001 from the Royal Canadian Legion, 262 - 22nd Street, Battleford, SK. The Memorial Service will take place on Saturday April 7, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, Battleford, SK. The Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mr. Gerald Funk of DALMENY FUNERAL HOME, Dalmeny SK., (306) 254-2022.

KYLE, Oriole Mary - Late of Pioneer Village, Regina, has died at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband, Alvan, in 1972, and by her two sons, Dean and Bruce, and her grandson, Robert, she is survived by her daughter, Mavis (Peter Evans), and her sons, Larry (Elva) and Wayne (Georgina), eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and two daughters-in-law, Ellen and Danna. She was one of a family of eight Carleton children in Cabri, Saskatchewan, all of whom are now deceased. She became a teacher and later, after her marriage, she lived with her family at Richardson, Rowatt, and later Regina. She was active in the United Church in those centres and especially Westminster United Church in Regina where she was a key leader and organizer of the CGIT. As a pianist and leader of singing groups she brought pleasure to many confined seniors and then became one herself. In recent years she enjoyed wonderful care at Ward 2 East in Pioneer Village. A memorial service will be held in May when her family will gather. Date and time will be announced later. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Home.

MCKENZIE - Vera Edna May LeJour (McKenzie), late of Pioneer Village Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at the age of 64 years. Predeceased by her husband Fred Albert McKenzie, her mother Helen LeJour and sisters Harriet LeJour and Mary McKenzie, brother Albert Windigo. Vera leaves to mourn her sons Ken, Eric, Mike (Shiloh); daughters Estelle (Robert) and Sharon; grandchildren Leon, Shannon, Jesse, Esmare, Michaela, Gage, Bronson, Chet, Alex, Terry-lynn and Jayke of Victoria, B.C., as well as friends, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Peter's R.C. Church, 100 Argyle St., Regina, Sk., with Rev. Ken Koep Celebrant. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2001 from 7-9:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina, Sk.. Flowers most gratefully declined.
