IZSAK - On Thursday, September 2, 2004, Arthur Izsak, Kipling, Sask. died suddenly at the age of 69 years. The funeral service will be held in the Old Bekevar Presbyterian Church, Kipling, Sask. on Monday September 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Catherine Dorcas officiating. Interment in the Bekevar Cemetery. Predeceased by his parents, Tom and Anna Izsak and his father in law, Clark Ennis. Arthur is survived by his wife, Julie; their two children, Jo-Ann (Darren) Meszaros, Kipling, Sask. and Clark (Tina) Izsak, Estevan, Sask.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Logan and Joseph Meszaros; his twin brother, Alfred Izsak, Kipling, Sask.; his brothers and sisters, Elsie Fulop, Kipling, Sask., Linda (Jim) Campbell, Regina, Sask., Edward (Vivian) Izsak, Kipling, Sask. and Lenny Izsak, Regina, Sask.; mother in law, Dorothy Ennis, Kipling, Sask; brothers in law, Chris (Florence) Ennis, Moose Jaw, Sask. and Richard (Shirley) Ennis, Radway, Alta.; and his numerous nieces and nephews. KOCH - Bernice Elizabeth (nee Kiesel), longtime resident of Pioneer Village, passed away September 1, 2004. Bernice was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand; and her brother Harold. Bernice is survived by her brother Norman Kiesel (Jo) of Regina; her sister Vera Merchant of Port Perry, ON; her nephew Robert Merchant of Port Coquitlam, BC and niece Joan Lane (David) of Port Perry, ON. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Regina Pioneer Village, 430 Pioneer Drive with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie; parents Harry and Rose; brother Eric and sister Grace; Frank is survived by his son Robert; nieces Susan, Barbara and nephew Barry. CHARRETT - Joyce Charrett (1935-2004), late of Prince Albert, passed away at 69 years of age. Joyce is survived by her loving husband Doug of Prince Albert; son Craig (Diane) of Saskatoon and their children Thomas, Cameron and Patrick; daughter Donna (Chris) Bowditch of Kitscoty, AB and their children Emily and Declan; sisters Eileen (Des) Yarnton of Springfield, Missouri, Dorothy Palmer of Regina and Lillian (Len) Spaurel of Penticton, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her parents George and Mary Burrows predeceased her. A Memorial Service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert. Those wishing to place memorial contributions in lieu of other tributes may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Arthritis Society or another charity of choice. CLOSE, RETA (NEE JOHNSTON) - The family of Margareta (Reta) Close sadly announce the death of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Reta died peacefully on September 3, 2004 in the early hours of the morning with her son Patrick at her side. She is survived by her husband Ronald and their son Patrick (Susan) of Regina, their daughter Susan (Richard) of Winnipeg and three grandchildren: Tara, Erin and Caleb. The family wish to thank Dr. Joan Baldwin and the staff at the Regina Lutheran Home for their compassionate care. A celebration of Reta's life will be announced and a detailed obituary will follow at a later date. COUESLAN - On Friday, September 4, 2004, Rene Albert, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in Kelowna, BC at 81 years of age. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters, Rene is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters Anita, and Jo-Anne (Owen) Howe and grandchildren Jessica and Gregory Howe; stepchildren Rick (Judy) Runge, Gail Runge, Gary (Deb) Runge, Doug (Deb) Runge, Diane (Michael) Milani, Rhonda Runge, Dean Runge, and their families; brother Francis Coueslan, sisters Simone (Vince) Coffey, and Jeanne Young; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rene was born on the family homestead in Wolseley, Sask., then moved to Broadview, Sask. where he ran a successful dairy farm, being awarded Top Producer and Master Dairy Farmer during his career. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Charles Garnier Catholic Church, 3645 Benvoulin Road with Father Wayne Pfliger officiating. Interment to take place at Riverside Memorial Park Friday, September 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Ken Koep officiating. DAGORNE - Mr. Ken Dagorne of Prince Albert passed away on September 5, 2004 at the age of 73. Ken is survived by his loving wife Joyce; daughter Maureen (Jim) McKillican and their children Ashlee and Lyndsay, all of Regina; daughter Heather Dagorne of Red Deer, AB; daughter Janice (Vince) Phaneuf and their children Davis and Austin, all of Prince Albert; brother Henry (Sheila) Dagorne of Oakville, ON; and nieces Shelley, Kim and Lynn. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Jean Dagorne. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert. Interment will take place at a later date in Poplar Point Cemetery in Manitoba. Those wishing to make a donation in Ken's memory may do so to the Prince Albert and District Palliative Care Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. DUBOIS - It is with deep sadness that we announce the accidental passing of John Glenn Dubois, late of Regina, Sask., at the age of 44 years. He was born on December 29, 1959 and died September 3, 2004. He was predeceased by his parents Johnny and Anita Dubois, sister Lila, brother Glen, grandparents Fred and Maggie Dubois and Glen and Marion Shingoose. John is survived by his children Amanda (Neil) and their daughter Sierra; Adam; John and Glenn and their mother Shirley; Shayla and her mother Laureen; sister Ila (Darell) and her children Alexandra, James, Daniel and Aydrienne; Lori and her son Justin; brothers Christopher; Remi and his children Cory, Samantha and Colby; Emile and his children Jeffery, Marlon, Emile Jr.; Gregory, Maverick, Alisia, Alana and Delila; aunts Tillie Bird (Arnold), Connie Gordon (John) and Paula; uncles Dickie Dubois and Victor McNab; friend and mentor Tom Warner as well as numerous other relatives and many, many friends. The Burial will be held in the Dubois Family Cemetery on the Pasqua Reserve on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. ALLEN - Joanne Allen was born February 3, 1955 in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, the second child of Clarice and Bill Allen. She was raised on a farm near Lemberg, Saskatchewan. Joanne acquired various nicknames throughout the years Jo, Joey and EO depending on the circumstance. Along the almost fifty years she was granted, Joanne was a warm and caring mother, a wife, a sister, a friend, a coworker and the salt of the earth. Joanne graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1978. Joanne married Sean Angley on October 18, 1986. Over the years their family grew to include two daughters, Bronwyn and Arden. Joanne enjoyed the company of her girls and they spent many happy hours doing things together. She was a loving and proud mother who encouraged and supported the girl's many talents and interests. Joanne spent many happy vacation days with her family and friends alike and we will always have many happy memories with Jo at the "lake". Joanne found joy in everyday things in life. She was a keen observer of the human condition. Joanne's sense of humour, gentle manner and fair -mindedness endeared her to those who met her. She was a generous and giving woman who made you feel at ease in her presence. Joanne enjoyed a challenging and varied career in nursing. She worked at the Canora Hospital, VON Regina, Palliative Care Regina and most recently, Veterans Affairs Canada. She was held in high esteem by her co-workers and made many friends throughout her career. Joanne is survived by her husband, Sean Angley, her daughters Bronwyn and Arden, her sisters Cheryl Mass (Larry) children Stacey (Corey), Tim and Tom, and Barb Shea (Mick) daughter Amanda, her father-in-law Bill Angley and sister-in-law Siobhan Angley. Prayers will take place Wednesday, 7:30p.m. at Holy Rosary Cathedral. A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Garnet & 13th Ave., Regina at 4p.m. on Thursday, September 16th. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Speers Funeral Chapel. Friends attending the service are encouraged to bring garden flowers (in vases) as a tribute for Joanne. Interment will be held at a later date in the beautiful Ellisboro cemetery overlooking the Qu'Appelle Valley. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Joanne's name to the Plant for Health Program (plant a tree in memory of Joanne) c/o Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225 1874 Scarth St., Regina, SK, S4P 4B3 or to the Red Cross-Arts and Crafts Veterans Program, 100-2050 Cornwall St., Regina, SK, S4P 2K5. Joanne's premature death has shocked and saddened all those who have had the fortune to know and love her. Her family would like to thank the staff of the Regina Health District for their efforts and the many family and friends for their caring and help at this most difficult time. We are grateful for the years she walked the earth among us.

CLOTHIER - Mansel Elwood Clothier of Regina Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with his family at his side on September 13, 2004 at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 82 years.Elwood is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Dorothy, four children: Bob (Tracie)and their children Jeremy and Kelli of Rosetown SK, Les (Gail) and their children Lindsay and Chantal of Calgary AB, Pat (Ron) Simmons and their children Ashley and Tim of Regina SK, and Paul of Regina and son Levi of Edmonton AB; two sisters Rachel Wilder of Moose Jaw and Ruby McKenzie of Moose Jaw, several in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers Gren, Ray, Leonard and Harold. Funeral Services will be held from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Jaw at Approx. 3:00 P.M.Memorial donation in Elwood's memory may be directed to the Regina Palliative Care Inc., Canadian Cancer Society or the Lutheran Hour Ministries.

DESROSIERS, DAVID THEODORE (1958-2004) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David on Friday, September 10, 2004 at age 46 after his courageous battle with cancer. He died surrounded by family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Ted. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Verva; his wife, Shelley; his children, Erika and Evan and Shelley's parents David and Irene Huber. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Angela (Mike) Zurowski, Shelly (Roger) Carver, Greg (Linda) Desrosiers, Conrad (Joanne) Desrosiers, Shevawn (Scot) Adams, and Bernie (Nadine) Desrosiers. David also had twelve nieces and nephews, as well as seven great-nieces and nephews, who were all very special to him. David was fortunate to have had a very close group of friends who will miss him dearly. David was born in Regina and attended Miller High School. He continued his education at SIAST in Moose Jaw, graduating as an architectural engineering technologist. He worked for various architects in Regina and was most recently employed by Saskatchewan Housing. David always took a great deal of pride and enjoyment from his work. He enjoyed playing sports and he spent many great times on the golf course and in other activities with his close group of friends. We wish to thank all the medical personnel who helped David along his difficult journey. Your excellent care and understanding was very much appreciated. A CELEBRATION OF DAVID'S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to Erika and Evan's trust fund: Desrosiers Trust Fund, c/o Noble Johnston & Associates, 1143 Lakewood Crt.
