POWELL — On Monday, August 16, 2004, Charles George Powell, late of the Cupar and District Nursing Home, Cupar, SK., passed away at the age of 84 years. Charlie was born on the family farm on July 24, 1920. He attended Marhall School and Touchwood School. Charlie enjoyed the farm life and him and his sister Doris farmed together for many years on the farm north of Cupar until they bought a home in Cupar and rented out the farm. Charlie moved to Shalom in June of 2002. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM in the Cupar and District Nursing Home, Cupar, SK., with Danna Armstrong, officiating. Interment to follow in the Cupar Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cupar & District Nursing Home 213 Mills St. Cupar, SK SOG OYO. SIRETT — KYRA ALEXIS, "Our Princess ", passed away with family at her side on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at the age of 11 months. GARDNER - On Saturday, August 28, 2004, Eleanor Ruth Gardner widow of E.F.(John) Gardner, Kennedy, Sask., age 78 years. The funeral service will be held in the Kennedy United Church, Kennedy, Sask., on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Barbara Wilkins officiating with interment in Kennedy Cemetery. Predeceased by her husband E.F.John Gardner in 1995 and two grandsons Adrian Gardner in infancy in 1985 and John Calvin Daniel Gardner in 1997, her parents Bill and Zadie England, one brother Warren England and one sister Audrey McKinnon. Ruth is survived by four sons; Don (Cathy) Gardner, Regina, Ron (Lori) Gardner, Kennedy, Dean (Doreen) Gardner, Kennedy and Glen (Nancy) Gardner, Regina, fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, two brothers; George (Edna) England, Saskatoon, and Bob (Cynthia) England, Oliver, B.C., one brother in law, Al McKinnon, Regina, and also her many nieces and nephews. OXBY - GERALD 1955 2004, late of Regina Beach, SK., passed away suddenly on August 27, 2004. Left to cherish his memories are his beloved partner Michelle and her children Tristan (Crystal) and Brooke; faithful pet, Jake the dog; mother Margaret Oxby; sisters and brother Jeanette (Ted) Markus, David (Rosalyn) Oxby, Nora (Eldon) Ortman; and his nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by his father Byron and his sister Dianne Hall. Gerald worked with SaskPower Trans Gas for the last 31 years, with the last years being Regional District Manager. His hobbies were snowmobiling, ATV'ing, fishing, and camping with his best friend. He tried real hard to catch a fish, with little luck. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street with Rev. Blair Dixon officiating. OLAUSON - ENID ANNIE: died peacefully on December 1, 2004, a month after her 90th birthday. She is lovingly remembered by daughter Audrey and Glen Morrison, daughter Sharon and Bill Wheatley, special niece Carole and Len Fisher, grandchildren Gavin Morrison, Colin Morrison, Tracy and Ralph Ritter, Rob Wheatley and Barbara and Marc Gibbon, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bob, daughter Loraine, sister Phyllis Horrocks and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Bernice Horrocks. Enid was a long time Regina resident. She was very active in Guiding and held many positions from Brown Owl to Provincial Camp Commissioner. She sang for many years in St. Mary's Anglican Church choir and was an active member of the ACW. Enid also played a supportive role to her husband Bob's activities in the SGEA. After retiring to Kelowna, Enid spent many years as a docent at the Kelowna museum where she shared her love of nature with elementary school children. Enid returned to Regina in the early 90's and for the past four years has resided at Regina Pioneer Village. She enjoyed the excellent care she received in both the Hostel and on Main West. A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE will be held at the chapel of Pioneer Village, 430 Pioneer Drive on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Joyce Hilton officiating.
