FICIUR, BERNADETTE DIANNE - Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2007. Predeceased by her father Ed Gosselin, her mother Bertha Gosselin and step-father John Wesko, her sisters Marie Gosselin and Teresa Gosselin. Left to mourn, her husband Dino Ficiur, brothers Harry Gosselin and Ed Kelly, her children Ricky, Gerald, Mike, Tim, Tina and Nieva, their spouses and children. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her. Funeral will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Lee's Funeral Home, Dewdney Ave. Regina, Sask. Flowers/ donations gratefully declined.

HANNA - William (Bill). Bill passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Monday, July 30th, 2007 at the age of 73, with his girls at his side. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Noble and Evelyn Hanna, his brother Gerry, and his brother-in-law, George Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Doreen, their three daughters, Audrey (Glenn) Naldrett of Winnipeg, Diana (Kent) Fletcher of Calgary and Yvonne (Earl) Potter of Pilot Butte, six grandchildren, Sean, Trevor (Laura) Naldrett, Angi Fletcher, Kristen, Kira and Josh Potter and great-grandchild, McKenzie Naldrett. His greatest enjoyment was his family and he took great pride in their achievements. All of his extended family, aunts, uncles, brothers, sister and many cousins have treasured memories. In his retirement, golf was his new career and he enjoyed countless hours with his `golf buddies' Fred and Dwayne. Bill was a long term member of the ACT/UCT. He worked in the construction industry most of his life and left Blackwood Hodge (Tobin Tractors) when his illness made it impossible to travel. He was a life member of the Road Builder's Association of Saskatchewan and is remembered throughout the prairies. The family would like to express their thanks to all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and caregivers who have helped him over the years. We would especially like to thank Dr. Cameron for always being there. Thanks also to the Palliative Care services of Dr. Clein, Dr. McMillan, nurse Bob and all the others who have helped us through this difficult time. LUX - On Wednesday, August 1, 2007, Marian Lux, Qu'Appelle, SK, widow of George Lux, died at the age of 84 years. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Qu'Appelle, SK on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. by Rev. D. Rafael. Interment in Qu'Appelle Cemetery. Marian was predeceased by her husband George, in 1994; her parents, Reg and Catherine Cross, one sister, four brothers, and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Marian is survived by two sons, Mickey (Patricia) Lux and their sons Michael and Matthew, Saskatoon. Tim (Teresa) Lux and their son Tommy, Regina. She is also survived by one daughter Marjie (Richard) Zerr, Qu'Appelle and their family: Tim (Jen) Zerr, Regina; Christa (Kevin) Baron and family Olivia and Elise, Regina; Anne-Marie Zerr, Indian Head; and Joe Zerr, Regina. She is survived by one twin sister, Marjie (Alec) Tasker, Qu'Appelle and their very special family Marian (Brian) Zerr, and Maureen (Alan) Regel and also numerous nieces and nephews. MCCABE - Dorothy passed away at the General Hospital, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 31st at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Patrick McCabe, a sister, Patricia Harding. She leaves to mourn, a son, Ken (Marlene) McCabe, Indian Head; daughter, Eileen (Ken) Hammond, Calgary; a sister Mildred Trenton, Regina; 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and a nephew, Tim Trenton, Regina. At her request, a graveside service will be held at the Indian Head cemetery on Saturday, August 4th at 2:00 p.m. followed by a social gathering at her pride and joy, the rural Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. Dorothy lived at Indian Head for several years before moving to Regina. Her most recent home was Embury Heights.

PINKNEY - Harvey Lyle passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 after complications from surgery. Harvey was born in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan on December 8, 1934. He was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Ethel; his sister Blanche and brothers Ernie, Dean, Elmer and Willis. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Anna; children, Shannon (Chris) West and Todd (Tracy); grandchildren Josie West and Holden West of Victoria B.C. Harvey is survived by one sister, Vera (Gerry) Hupp. Harvey served in the Royal Canadian Air Force based in Toronto and Cold Lake, after which he worked for Oliver Farm Equipment, Allied Farm Equipment, Wagner and Resch and White Farm Equipment. He then worked for the Corps of Commissionaires until his illness. Harvey's life was devoted to his family, whom he cherished dearly. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren in Victoria, and with his extended family. He enjoyed the occasional trip to Las Vegas, the Black Hills and around western Canada. A Graveside Service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East. Those wishing to attend please meet at the cemetery main gates at 9:45 A.M. Fr. Richard Jaciak and Fr. Albert Schmitz will be officiating. Everyone is invited to join the family for lunch and fellowship at Holy Trinity Auditorium 5020 Sherwood Drive at approximately 11:00 A.M. BLAIR - It is with great sadness that on September 2nd, two days before her 98th birthday, surrounded by her family, Kathleen Blair Nanie passed away. Predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Regina Eichel; husband George William Blair; one sister; and six brothers. Survived by her daughter Jean Booty; granddaughters Colleen Orell (Butch), Kathy Booty, Kerry Booty, son-in-law Vern Booty; great-grandchildren Shannon Orell, Shaun Orell, Shayne Sebastian, Shaylee Booty-Sebastian and great-greatgranddaughter Elizah Orell-McColl. POSEHN, ELEANOR September 3, 1933 September 4, 2006 - Eleanor passed away peacefully at the William Booth Grace Hospice with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Albert; parents Rudy and Elizabeth Silzer; brother Dennis Silzer; fatherand mother-in-law Henry and Molly Posehn and brother-in-law Wilfred Posehn. Eleanor is lovingly remembered by her children Lyle (Debra) Posehn, Randy (Gayle) Posehn and Shelley (Ron) Chibi; grandchildren Kevin (Karma) and Kyle Posehn, Christopher and Jennifer Posehn, and Andrew, Matthew and Rebecca Chibi; brothers-in-law Ernie (Gertie) Posehn and Arnold (Caroline) Posehn; sister-in-law Marina Silzer as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eleanor was born in Markinch, SK. After moving to Regina, she worked for T. Eaton Co. and married Albert in 1951. Eleanor was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and homemaker. She was dedicated to her immediate and "extended " family, babysitting for many children to whom she became known as "Aunty. " Later, Eleanor babysat her grandchildren to whom she was totally devoted. She faithfully followed their extra curricular activities becoming their biggest supporter and fan. A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Dennis Fingas officiating. Eleanor will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Albert, at Regina Memorial Gardens.
