ZUCK - Emerson Sr., born on October 26, 1939, passed away peacefully at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice on Thursday, August, 25, 2005 at the age of 65. Predeceased by his parents Dan and Edna (Leskowski) Zuck and his sister Vera (USSR 1944). Emerson is survived by his wife Lillian (Steier) and their eight children and sixteen grandchildren: Emerson Jr. (Deanna), Shaina, Jeannine, and Emerson "Daniel "; Shaun (Joanne), Michael and Adrienne; Mario (Carla), Erin and Allyson; O'Neil (Lenore), Olivia and Julian; Nicole Rohac, Rebecca; Erroll, Nicolas; Xavier, Shane and Danya; and Christopher (Denise), Christian and Jordan. Emerson is survived by his brother Sergei of the country of Belarus, and sisters Sylvia Jacobson of Saskatoon and Cindi (Joe) Kelly of Kelowna B.C., uncles, aunts and cousins, also Lillian's family Norman (Frances) Steier of Jeanette Lake SK; Audrey (Allan) Staruaila and Jean Steier (Ted) both of Dorintosh, SK. Emerson was born in Hafford, Saskatchewan. When Emerson was seven years old, his parents moved to Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. When he was nineteen, he moved to Regina Saskatchewan where he lived and worked. He married Lillian Steier in Green Lake, Saskatchewan on September 5, 1959. Emerson was a Journeyman Pipefitter, Gasfitter and Steamfitter. Emerson belongs to Local 179 of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada. He worked in the industry for over forty years. Emerson retired from work in 2004. Emerson enjoyed hunting and fishing up north and relaxing at the Hungarian Club. Emerson will be sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. We wish to thank everyone for their support especially Cliff Geiger. FLETCHER - Alma passed away peacefully on August 24, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Alma will be sadly missed and always remembered by her loving husband, Doug of 55 years; her sister Irene (Al); her daughter Lorraine (Bob), her sons; Gordon (Virginia) and Don (Louise); her grandchildren Shannon (Marc), Tammy (Cayle), Gordon (Tess), Adam (Tyann), Sheena (Searle), Virginia (Kenton), Blaise (Andrea), Trish (John); great grandchildren Autumn, Brooks, Shanley, Dominick, Gavin, Ty, Wyatt, Shane, Dane and Gage and several relatives and friends. Alma was predeceased by her parents Anton and Sophie Butz, brothers: Bill, Fred, Jack and Tony; sisters: Mary and Ollie; and grandson Scott Lynch. Alma retired from the Workers Compensation Board after 19 years. She was a master angler who enjoyed fishing, cooking, cards, bowling and was a great ball player in her day. Alma loved animals and will be missed by her cat, Sheba. Most of all Alma loved spending time with her family and friends; everyone was welcome and the more the merrier. WILLIAM ERNEST HALL - It is with great sadness that the family of William Hall announce his passing at the Newhope Pioneer Lodge on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Leola Hall; sister Velma Tisdale; one brother in infancy; and brother-in-laws Bill Richter and Gordon Tisdale. William leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years Phyllis Hall of Stoughton and one son Garnet (Barb) Hall, Stoughton; children Jody Hall, Moose Jaw; Teresa Hall, Estevan; Cheryl (Jake ) Callaghan, Roche Percee; Four daughters, Judy (Carter Chafe, Regina; children Jennifer (Troy ) Chafe; Nicole Chafe; Judy (Brad) Bork and their children, Zachary and Natalie; Barb (Brent) Nuttall, Pense; daughter, Jessica; Janie (Jonathan) Martin, Weyburn; daughter Allison; Connie (Tom) Fuzesy, Regina, Son Nicholas; 7 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews; survived by sisters Nellie O'Connor, Regina, Mary Richter, Duncan, B.C. Dad was born on the family homestead July 28, 1920. He attended the Olmstead one room school and enjoyed helping on the farm. He served as a private with the South Saskatchewan Regiment overseas in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany from 1943 to 1945. Dad Married Phyllis Fisher of Froude in 1948 and eventually took over the family farm at Huntoon, Sask. where he enjoyed farming for 50 years. Dad enjoyed curling, old time music and dancing. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed telling jokes and visiting with many friends and neighbors. After visiting with Dad, people usually walked away with a new joke or one Dad had told them before if it was a really good one. He had a life long interest in politics, current affairs and enjoyed reading and learning about different topics. He was a member of the Wheat Pool, Royal Canadian Legion and the Stoughton Co-op Board for many years. Dad took pride in his community and enjoyed helping out whenever he could. Until Dad's health began to decline, he visited coffee row everyday and always tried to keep up on the latest news. Dad will be deeply missed by his family. We know you're resting now, Dad, and have found peace. Until we meet again. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the United Church in Stoughton with Rev. Brian Ast, officiating. WEIMER, PHILIP - September 11, 1934 March 30, 2005. It is with sadness that the family of Phil Weimer announces his passing. Phil's greatest happiness was being in contact with each of his grandchildren at Easter time. Many hours were spent at the card table enjoying the company of friends and family. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Connie (Schneider); daughters, Leanne (Karl) Germann, Laurie (Russ) Cheveldayoff and Rhonda (Brad) McEachern; seven grandchildren, Jayson (Charlene) and Dawn Protz, Braydon Germann, Ashley and Amanda Cheveldayoff and Lindsay and Mitch McEachern; sisters, Margaret (Phillip) Schneider and Tillie (Robert) Anwender; brother, Henry Weimer; brother-in-law, Bernie (Diane) Schneider; as well as many nieces and nephews. MCKENZIE - Wayne McKenzie passed away peacefully at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Tuesday March 1, 2005 with his family by his side, at the age of 66 years. Wayne was born in Moose Jaw on February 22, 1939. He grew up on the family farm (Belford Farm). Wayne farmed all his life and had a special love of heavy horses. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Elsie McKenzie, and baby granddaughter, Emma Lauren Wilk. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Maria (Rob) Wilk and Crystal McKenzie; and sister, Joy Burtnick and family. Wayne spent every day of the year doing thoughtful, nice things, touching all the lucky people around him. He always brought joy to others and will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched. A CELEBRATION OF WAYNE'S LIFE WILL BE HELD AT ST. ANDREW'S UNITED CHURCH ON SATURDAY MARCH 5, 2005 AT 1:30 PM. Reverend Peter Calhoun and Della Ferguson will officiate.
