WETTON — Geraldine Loraine (Geri) passed away with her loving family at her side on Friday August 8, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Predeced by her parents, mother-inlaw, two sisters, two brothers and her only son Donn. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Ernest Vaughan, daughters Marie (Spencer) Smith, Wynona (Robert) Young, Maxine (Darvin) Friess, daughter-in-law Connie Wetton, grandchildren Angel (Ken), Tim, Marquita, Russ (Tracy), Tara, Chuck, Ty (Deanna), Michael, Cory, Ryan, Leslie and Carlee, 17 great grandchildren, one sister, three brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

HORVATH - John George Horvath of Craik, SK., age 73 passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in Craik on Monday, Sept. 29th, 2003. John is survived by his loving family: wife, Dorothy; children: Erma (John) Rea, Inez (Butch) Huber, Phillip (Pat) Horvath, Wesley (Stacey) Skinner, Judy Skinner and Ronald (Alisa) Horvath; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. John was predeceased by his first wife Katherine and infant son Clifford, parents: John and Rose and brother Gordon. The celebration of John's life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. from the Craik Community Legion Hall Craik, Sask., with Pastor Roy Mathews officiating. MCCORMICK - THERESE MARIE (TERRY), passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2003. Terry was born on October 8, 1927 at Marcelin, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her parents Hendrick and Marie Despins; son-in-law Doug Britton; sisters Claire, Eva and Denise and brothers Alfred, Gustave, Hubert, Omer, Lionel, Armand, Real, Yvon and Paul; sister-in-law Dorothy McCormick and brothers-in-law Stuart Taylor and Blackie McCormick. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Patrick; nine children: Patricia (Greg Watkins), Debbie (Randy) Waterton, Kelly (Jim) Burnett, Scott, Gillies, Jill Britton, Danny (Danita), Stuart (Patty) and Mark (Shara) McCormick; twelve grandchildren: Jim, Gord, Samantha, Lucas, Kelly-Beth, Jamie, Jenna, Shawn, Henry, Teddy, Morgan and Parker; three sisters Doris Lengert, Yvonne Smith and Claire Bergen; one brother Hendrick Despins; sisters-in-law Beatrice and Margaret Despins, Marion Taylor, Nettie, Eilleen and May McCormick; brothers-in-law Weldon Smith, Gill, Glen and Red McCormick. MURPHY - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of DR. KEVIN MURPHY while on holiday on November 28, 2003. Predeceased by his parents, James and Elsie and by his daughter, Patricia; he is survived by his loving wife of forty five years, Aileen; his daughter, Maureen (Chris) of Regina; son, David (Dawna) of Shawnigan Lake, B.C.; and by five grandchildren: Nancy, Julie, Brad, Keegan and Rhys. Kevin is also survived by his sister, Sheila of Maidstone, England and brotherin-law and sister-in-law, Ted and Beryl of Church Stretton, England. Dr. Murphy began practicing in Regina in 1958 where he brought great joy and happiness to many families with the delivery of 6, 647 babies during his career. He was an active member of the Regina and District Medical Association. A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. WEIDEMAN, DAVID ALLAN - Late of Craven, SK passed away on December 6, 2003 at the age of 60. Dave was born and raised in Craik, SK; as a young man he started working for the Co-op Lumber Yard in various Saskatchewan towns and ended up retiring from Molson Breweries. In 1972, he married his true love Lynne (nee Davies) and they celebrated 27 years of marriage and raised two daughters. His family referred to him as "Davy Crockett" as he had a great love for nature and his animals. The sudden death of his wife Lynne in 1999 broke his heart. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Loreena, a son-in-law Ryan and the light of his life, his grandson Simon Joshua Buhl of Saskatoon; daughter Glenna and son-in-law Barry Bundus of Regina; sisters Irene McLean of Calgary, Betty Cappelle of Arborfield, Lydia (Lorne) Vineyard of Arborfield and Louise (Kerry) Taylor of Swift Current; Lynne's family: Brenda (George) Fensom of Kelliher, Bentley (Sharon) Davies of Toronto; Evan (Janey) Davies of Regina Beach; Don Patterson of Disley, Ron (Shelly) Patterson of Craven and Warren Wild of Silton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; special friends Joy Bradley and Ken and Isabel Wingert. Dave was predeceased by his wife, Lynne; parents, Henry and Agatha Weideman; parents-in-law, Haydn Davies; Phyllis and Bruce Patterson; brothers-inlaw: Harold Cappelle and Howard McLean; sister-in-law Heather Wild; and godson Jeff Taylor. LOWE, WILLIAM HENRY "HARRY" - passed away on Monday, March 15, 2004 at the age of 95 years. Harry is predeceased by his wife, Margaret; brother, Fred; and three sisters, Dorothy Pirret, Marian King and Janet Rogers. He is survived by his three children, son, Brian (Heather) Lowe and their children, Tyson, Jordan and Spencer of Zehner, SK, son, James (Brenda) Lowe and their children, Daniel, Stacy and Jodi of Zehner, SK; and daughter, Patricia (Brian) Scherle and their children, Carlene, Andrew and Neil all of Regina, SK. Harry was born and raised in the Foxleigh district and spent his life farming on the homestead which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1997. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg St., Regina on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Blair Dixon officiating.
