TAMKE – The passing of Edna Helen Tamke occurred at Royal University Hospital on Sunday, August 26th, 2007 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her loving husband Carl of 58 years; children Brenda Howard, Regina, SK., Dale (Rita), Saskatoon, SK., Wayne, Saskatoon, SK., Shelly (Howard) Frerichs; three granddaughters Holly (Peter), Melanie (Nick), Meaghan; four great-grandchildren James, Daniel, Ruby, Jeannie; two brothers John (Louise) Singler, BC., Gordon (Mary) Singler, BC.; four sisters Liz Tamke, Saskatoon, SK., Evelyn (Bruce) Hartney, BC., Margaret (Ed) Dirks, BC., Dorothy Moore, Saskatoon, SK. She was predeceased by her parents George and Rose; three brothers Jake, Henry, Harold and one sister Mary. Edna was born and raised in the Melness District. Mawsy enjoyed being at the lake with family and friends. In her earlier years, she curled, played softball, bowled and enjoyed watching the Blue Jays. Mom especially enjoyed watching Meaghan curl, play ball and hockey. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, turn right before railway crossing). Interment of cremated remains to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Donations in Edna’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. Mrs. Alice Eleanor Longley
July 21, 1923 - August 27, 2007
Alice Eleanor Longley passed away on August 27, 2007 at the age of 84 years in Regina.
She was predeceased by her father Edwin; her mother Eleanor; her brother Neil and her beloved husband George.
Alice is survived by her son Neil (Susan) of Hadley, Massachusetts.
Alice was born on July 21, 1923 in Kelliher, SK. As a young woman, Alice moved from Kelliher to Saskatoon, then later on to Calgary. It was in Calgary where she met George. After they were married, they moved to West Germany for four years while George was stationed there with the Canadian Military. During their time in Germany, Alice gave birth to their son Neil. In 1960, the family moved back to Regina, where Alice had lived ever since. Alice was a quiet, kind, and generous person, who always put others first.
For the last four years, Alice had lived at Silva Care Home, where she greatly appreciated the company and caring of the residents and staff.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Zion United Church, 120 Broad Street, Regina, SK on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

Miss. Mabel Mary Fredlund
July 28, 1918 - August 27, 2007
On August 27, 2007, Miss Mabel Fredlund passed away one day after her sister Elsie at the age of 89 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Anton and Hanna and two brothers Ernest and Melvin.
Mabel is survived by her brother Donald; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Mabel served as a missionary with the Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF) in both China and Japan until her retirement.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mabel's memory may be made to the OMF.

Mr. Charles 'Keith' Hall
June 6, 1927 - August 25, 2007
Charles “Keith” Hall passed away at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the age of 80 years. Waiting for him at Heaven’s gates are his parents Charles and Marie; brother Hubert and granddaughter Sierra Agecoutay. Left to celebrate his life and honor his memory are his wife Muriel of 46 ˝ years; children Darryl (Deanna) and their children, Rachelle and Amanda of Spruce Grove, AB; Heather Hurrell and her children Dana and Brett; Dawn (Barry) Agecoutay and their children Dakota and Ryleigh; Andrea (Ted) Deregowski and their children Stefan, Tyson and Kennedi; and Curtis (Lisa), all of Regina; sisters Ruth Finseth of Port Coquitlam, BC and Ann (Russell) Cook of Minnedosa, MB; as well as extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. Keith was born on the family farm near Clanwilliam, MB on June 6, 1927 and moved to Regina in 1955 where he began his career with PFRA. He and Muriel married on February 25, 1961. Keith remained with PFRA until his retirement in 1982. Keith had many accomplishments and made many close friends but his family was his most precious blessing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM, with Reverend Carla Blakely officiating. Donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Regina Funeral Home.
Mr. Herbert John Dauncey
November 29, 1915 - September 1, 2007
Herb was born on November 29, 1915 and passed away peacefully on September 1, 2007.
Herb was predeceased by his brother Nelson; brothers-in-law Lloyd Higgins, Fred Chapman and Jack Chapman and sister-in-law Alice Chapman.
Herb is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, of 60 years; daughter Shirley Duce (George) and sons Barry (Vi) and Gord (Yvonne). Herb was a proud grandfather of seven, and great-grandfather of seven. Herb’s surviving siblings include Belva Park (George), Mabel Dauncey, Sidney (Shirley) and Phyllis Higgins and their families.
Herb was born in Moosomin, and spent his early years on the family farm near Rocanville. He served his country in the armed forces overseas from 1940-1945. Herb returned to the Rocanville area, where he met and eventually married Dorothy Chapman in 1947. They remained on the family farm until 1954. The family lived in Rivers, MB area until 1961. Regina has been their home since then. Herb will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
