The death of Evelyn Fehr, age 62 of Bethany Manor, Saskatoon, occurred on July 26, 2015. She is survived by her children Wade (Christina) Preece and Justin Preece (girlfriend Katie and her son Parker); grandchildren Jordan, Damian, and Dillon; mother Gertrude Fehr; siblings Rosalie (George) Peters, Bill Fehr, Carol (Chris) Cottrill, Mary Ann Fehr, Garry Fehr, Gordan (Rose) Fehr, Ken Fehr, and Wes (Diane) Fehr; and close friend Cleone Richmond. She was predeceased by her father John M. Fehr, infant son Kevin, sister Doris, and stillborn sister Gertrude. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Lawson Heights Alliance Church, 159 Pinehouse Drive, Saskatoon, with Pastor Mike Newson officiating. Interment will take place at the Reinfeld Bergthaler Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern.

October 25, 1972 – March 15, 2016
Paul Wiens, age 43 years of Hague, SK, passed away from a brief battle with influenza on March 15, 2016 at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, SK. He is survived by his children, Kimberly, Bryce and Brandyn; his mother Tina Wiens; siblings, Dave (Patricia) Wiens and family, Melinda (Pete) Reimer and family. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace Mennonite Church, Neuanlage, SK with Pastor Henry Janzen officiating. Interment will take place at Neuanlage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for Paul’s underage children, to a trust fund at Affinity Credit Union, Hague, SK. The death of Edward Janzen, age 80 years of Hague, occurred on July 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Janzen; daughters Lynette (Eugene) Hiebert and Dana (Bruce) Heinrichs; grandchildren Donavon Hiebert, Rhett Hiebert, Kelley Heinrichs, Cherry (Stephen) Stubert, and Tristin Heinrichs; great grandson Emmett Stubert, mother-in-law Esther Wagner, and sister-in-law Fern Janzen. He was predeceased by his infant son Lyle Janzen, mother Mary (Braun) Janzen, father William Janzen, brother Elmer Janzen, father-in-law George Wagner, and niece Kylee Wagner. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rosthern, SK with Rev. Sarah Dymund officiating. Interment will take place at the Hague (old) Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Funk’s Funeral Home, Rosthern.

Our Mother lived a long and full life and the time has come to say good-bye. She was a role model of integrity, and leaves a legacy of devotion and selflessness for her family: Ken (Charmian) of Calgary, Carol Wyness (David) of Sherwood Park, Glenda Stranden (Neil) of Saskatoon, and Charles (Sheila) of Calgary; 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis in 1988, her brother, Russell Kenney of Rosthern, and sister, Mary Spriggs of Duck Lake. Our gratitude goes out to the Circle Drive Special Care Home for their thoughtful and compassionate care. Join us in celebration of her life Saturday, July 25, 2015, 2:00p.m. at Rosthern Mennonite Church, 3016 5th Street, Rosthern, SK. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Unger; son John (Betty) Unger; daughters, Nettie (Ken) Wiebe, and Anna Unger, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Ann Hamm, Sarah Janzen, and Margaret Harder; brothers, George (Susan) Unger and Peter (Susan) Unger. He was predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Anna (Braun) Unger; brothers, Cornelius (Helen), Henry, and Herman; brothers-in-law, Abe Hamm, George Janzen, and Henry Harder. The death of Tina Sawatzky of Hague, SK occurred at Rosthern Hospital on June 19, 2015 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her husband, Jacob Sawatzky; 2 daughters, Joyce (Marvin) Klassen, Evelyn (Darrell) Thoms; 4 sons, Harvey (Jan) Sawatzky, Wesley (Kathy) Sawatzky, Lester (Colette) Sawatzky, Conrad (Shannon) Sawatzky; siblings, Mary, Abe, Helen, Harry; 21 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Dorothy; son Elmer; daughter-in-law Gladys; parents Peter and Susanna Teichroeb; siblings, Susie, Annie, Peter, John, Jake, Margaret, Cornie and Stella. The Funeral Service will be held at Neuanlage Grace Mennonite Church at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 with Artur Esau officiating. Interment will take place in Hague (Old) Cemetery.
