REYNOLDS (nee Gamble), Audrey Lovenia - Monday, 16 Oct 2006
Audrey Lovenia Reynolds (nee Gamble) born December 29, 1927 at Parkbeg, Saskatchewan, passed away on October 16, 2006. Audrey is predeceased by her daughter Kandace (d. 1954) and her husband Clarence (d. 2000). Audrey will be joining him for what would have been their 58th wedding anniversary (October 27). She will be sadly missed by her daughters Kristy (Gorden Bonar), Karen (Terry Alcombrack), Kellie (Jeff Morfitt), her son Kerry (Fay Reynolds), her grandchildren Stacy (David Riggs) and Allison Reynolds (Ken Simpson), Josh and Cody Bonar, Sydney Morfitt, McKenna Alcombrack and her new great granddaughter Victoria Love Riggs. Audrey is survived by her sister Iona Peterson, her brother Tom (Anne), sisters and brothers-in-law Tress, Elsie, Mildred, Evans, Don (Cindy), Eric (Edith) Reynolds and many nieces and nephews. Audrey’s kind and giving spirit will be remembered by her family and many life long friends. Audrey lived most of her adult life in the Fraser Valley and had a great love for books which was born out in her dedication to the Fraser Valley Regional Library.
A Celebration of Life for Audrey will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, Abbotsford (604-854-5534) on Tuesday, October 24th 2006 at 1:00 pm, followed by a tea at 21066-43A Avenue, Langley.

ROGERS, Miura - Sunday, 15 Oct 2006
Miura Rogers, late of Abbotsford, passed away on October 15, 2006 at the age of 94. Miura was born in Wales. She lived in the Abbotsford area for 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband Albert. Miura was a witty and fun loving person. She was a great animal lover and had a fondness for Elizabeth’s Wildlife Centre.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Muira’s memory may be made to Elizabeth’s Wildlife Centre, PO Box 15015, (Sevenoaks), Abbotsford, BC V2S 8P1.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 1:30 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford.

SHAW, William (Bill) - Friday, 13 Oct 2006
1920 - 2006
William (Bill) passed away peacefully at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, BC on October 13, 2006 at the age of 86, surrounded by his family. Born February 10, 1920 in Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents and his three ­sisters Florence, Eva and Josephine (his twin). Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend, of 61 years, Lou (Mary), children Bernice Sparrow of Winnipeg, Norman Shaw of Langley, and Beverly (Brian) Topping of 150 Mile House; four grandchildren; one great grandchild, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Bill served in the RCNVR 1939-1945. He, Lou and family lived in Edmonton and Calgary before moving to North Vancouver in 1957 when he started with Westcoast Transmission (now Duke Energy). He retired in 1983 and he and Lou moved to Abbotsford in 1990.
His love of the outdoors was reflected in many happy family outings. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports and he and Lou curled for many years. He was well liked by all who knew him.
Following Bill's wishes, no ­formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Lung Association would be appreciated.

Melanie Lynn Tucker passed away on October 16, 2006 at Vancouver General Hospital at age 32 years. She was born February 10, 1974 in Brandon, Manitoba.
Melanie is survived by her husband Lewis, sons, Liam and Lleyton; her mother and father, Margret and David Woodman and her two brothers, Jeremy and Jordan, their spouses and other loving family members.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006, 1:00 pm at Kingdom Hall, 1672 Salton Rd., Abbotsford; John Allen officiant.

DUNKERLEY, Mrs. Annie - Wednesday, 04 Jul 2007
We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Annie Dunkerley (nee Hill) on the 4th day of July, 2007 at MSA Hospital four days short of her 97th birthday.
Annie was formerly of Carlyle, Saskatchewan and a long time resident of Abbotsford, BC. She is predeceased by her husband Edward, her sister Alice Ross, her four brothers James, Willard, Alfred and Wesley.
Survived by her son Charles (Sandra) Dunkerley, daughter Jean Jones, grandchildren; Wayne (Karen) Dunkerley, Angela (Gordon) Ferguson, Trevor (Yurie) Jones, Cathy (Wayne) Griffith, and eight great-grandchildren. She was a life member of the Pinegrove Garden Club.
A memorial service will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home at a later date.

DION, Mrs. Helene Marie L. (nee Bilodeau) - Tuesday, 03 Jul 2007
Mrs. Helene Marie L. (nee Bilodeau), late of Abbotsford, BC passed away on July 3, 2007 at the age of 80 at MSA Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Roger, sons Cam (Brigette), Hector (Teresa), and Peter (Colleen), daughters Jackie (Mike), Lorraine (Albert), Denise (Chris), and Sharon (James), brothers Adelard (Muriel), Roland (Shirley), Romeo (Lorette), and Lionel (Carol), sisters Lucy, Madeleine, Julie (Marcel), Denise, Georgette, and Lillian (Leon), 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
She loved sewing and gardening. She was very caring and loving to all and always had her door open for anyone in need. She raised her own children and many, many foster children. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Prayers will be held Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 7 pm. at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford with a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10:30 am with Father Henry Yeung Celebrant. Donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Also survived by 3 sisters Agnes Falk, Mary Schmidt, Lydia Dyck and one brother Jacob Krahn. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5 from 6:30 – 8:00 p. m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6th at 11:00 a. m. in Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Rd. Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the M. C. Charles Louie Senior late of Chilliwack, passed away on July 2, 2007. He was born in Vancouver, BC on December 12, 1954.

FRAZELL, Shirley Ann (nee Flanagan) - Monday, 02 Jul 2007
Shirley was born in Laura, Saskatchewan, October 18, 1938 and passed away after a short illness on July 2, 2007, in Mission, B.C.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Rob of 23 years; daughters Jana Rosenberg (Darcy), Jocelyn Klein; stepchildren Jennifer and Chris; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and sisters Merle and Phyllis.
Everyone who knew "Squirley" knew of her passion for darts and games of chance.
We will be celebrating her life with a casual gathering at the Elk's Hall, 33336 2nd Ave., Mission B.C. at 1:30 pm. Saturday, July 7, 2007. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Christine Morrison Hospice at Mission Memorial Hospital.

Leah Charmaine, born Mar 8, 1956 in Vancouver, B.C., a former residence of Matsqui, passed away on June 30, 2007 at the age of 53 years, at Redwater, Ab. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Sasheen of Gibbons, Ab., brothers Jay of Chilliwack and Rick of Saanich, grandson Marko of Smokey Lake, Ab, and many friends in the Edmonton and Gibbons area.
A celebration of Leah's life was held on Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 at 8:00 p. m. at the Gibbons Anglican Emmanuel Church, with arrangements by Simply Cremations and Funeral Services, 10304 99 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Leah may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Susan Charrisse Gallie passed away at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, BC on June 30, 2007 at the age of 54 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by a large number of family and friends, including her husband Miles; sons Andrew (Debbie), Scott (Sara), Matthew and Michael; grandchildren Hannah, Cole and Mollie; mother Eunice; brothers and sisters Cindy (Bill), Brian (Gloria), Carole (Brad), Darla (Julio), Peggy (Luc), Jim (Anna), Dave (Eva), Jennifer, and their families.
Susan was born in Halifax and spent her early years in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. She then moved to British Columbia, residing in Richmond, Salmo and Mission.
She enjoyed crafting, volunteering with the Cancer Society and Scouts, and sharing her beautiful voice at karaoke and singing with “The Hometown Band”.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 7th, 2007 at 2:00 pm. at the Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home in Mission, BC. with Rev. Ken Harris officiating. A warm heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff and volunteers at the Christine Morrison Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Susan and the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Mission Hospice Society, designated to the Christine Morrison Hospice.

HILDEBRAND, Edna Margaret - Thursday, 28 Jun 2007
Edna Hildebrand entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on June 28, 2007.
She was born on April 1, 1933 to Cornelius and Margaret Kehler in Horndean, Manitoba. She married David Hildebrand in 1953 and God blessed them with 3 children: Don (Linda), Pat (Bernie) Siebring, and Paul (Bev). Edna was proud of her 9 grandchildren and their personal commitments to the Lord she loved.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1:30 pm. at Heritage Alliance Church.
A wonderful, faithful life to God, husband, and family. God called her home to her eternal reward. We are awaiting the resurrection morn, when we meet again.

DYCK, Helen (nee Friesen) - Thursday, 28 Jun 2007
March 4, 1927 - June 28, 2007
A Memorial Service for Helen Dyck will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Central Heights Mennonite Brethren Church. Helen passed away on June 28, 2007, after an extended battle with leukemia and osteoporosis. Helen was a member of the Central Heights Mennonite Brethren Church, where she was active in the festival committee and the Jubilee Singers. She will also be remembered for the many wonderful wedding gowns she made in her 30 year sewing career. She is survived by her son, Leonard Dyck (Helen) of Vancouver, her two grandsons, Benjamin and Philip, and her daughter, Doris (Peter) Fleck of Calgary, as well as seven brothers and two sisters.
