August 12, 1926 - January 2, 2001

Funeral arrangements by Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel (London)

Passed away peacefully in her 75th year at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her family at her side on Tuesday January 2, 2001.

Wife of the late Gordon Moir. Dear mother of Jim (Joanne) Moir of Marathon, Ontario, Cathy (Warren) Carey of London.

Dear grandmother of John, Dennis, Kimberly, Tammi, Matthew, Andrew and Brendan and great- grandmother of Erica and Justin.

Sister of William (Dorothy) of London, Fred (Lois) of London, John (Barb) of Burlington and Jim (Rosalyn) Marshal of Mississauga.

Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Dorothy Marshal and sisters Edith Blake and Dorothy Knuds.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas St. East, (at Wavell St.) London on Friday at 2 p.m. Reverend Gordon Moir officiating.

Visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada, 650 Waterloo St. Suite 100, London, Ontario N6B 2R4 would be appreciated.

Dorothy McLeod
February 10, 1916 - March 1, 2001

Peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2001 at St. Joseph’s Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, Dorothy McLeod in her 86th year.

A small lady with a very big heart.

Predeceased by husband Eric.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by her daughter Patricia McLeod and Harry Charlton.

Beloved grandmother of Paula and Mike Paszternak, Debbie and John McLeod and Darryl Noonan. Great-grandchildren Shawn, Tammy, Christina, Michael, Sheldon, Shantalle and Burgundy-Jane.

Great-great-grandsons Shawn Jr., and Christopher.

(Missed by special friend Hope).

Service of Remembrance Monday, March 5th, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell) Chaplain Brian Ducedre officiating. Cremation.

If desired, remembrances to the Thames Valley Children’s Centre, would be appreciated.

Geraldine Mable McAughey

Passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2001 at University Hospital at the age of 81 years.

Born near Milestone, Saskatchewan on October 26, 1919; former resident of Parry Sound, North Bay, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa and London since 1966.

Beloved wife of Joe McAughey for 53 years. Loving mother of Joanne Gruschovnik.

Loved grandmother of Shauna, Derrick and Dustin.

Cremation has taken place.

For Burial of Cremated remains a farewell gathering will take place Friday, June 1, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2001 Dundas Street East (at Wavell).

Edith Gertrude Kalb (nee Beardmore)
November 16, 1924 - June 10, 2001

Passed Worthy Matron Eastern Star. Passed away Sunday June 10, 2001 at the L.H. S. C. Westminster Campus at the age of 76 years.

Beloved wife of Dr. Sydney Kalb for 55 years.

Loving mother of Rick (Cindy) Kalb of Quebec City. Randy (Tina) Kalb of London, Robin (Nancy) Kalb of London.

Loved grandmother of Carly, Brain, Alexander, Graeme and Allison, and one great-granddaughter Mackenzie. Dear sister of Jack Beardmore of B.C.

Family will receive friends and relatives at the Forest Lawn Chapel 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Chapel.

Cremation.

Reception to follow service in the Talbot Lounge.

Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a Memorial Service at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Cherished grandmother of Tacey, Laurie of London, England, and Avital, Pinnick of Isreal. Great grandmother of Sarah, Kieran, Nathan, and Binyamin.

Family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel 1997 Dundas Street East, London from 1 p.m. Saturday till service time 2 p.m. Saturday.

Reception to follow in our Talbot Reception Lounge.

Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Castle View Wychwood Towers 351 Christie Street, Toronto would be appreciated by the family.

Loved Grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Dear sister of Gordon (Gladys) Sawyer, Jane (Alexander) Johnston and Edward (Irene) Sawyer.
