CAUGHY: Peacefully at her residence, Westpark Health Centre, St. Catharines, on Tuesday Nov. 6th, 2001 in her 84th year. Emily (Bonnie) the beloved wife of the late James Henry Caughy. Survived by daughters Marie and Leonard Huiser, Thorndale; Shirley and Bert Heisler, Welland; Lynda Hall, Stratford; sons James and Carol Caughy, Blenheim; Bill Caughy, Mike Caughy, Clinton; Bruce & Fran Caughy; Don and Donna Caughy of Hanover; Ewart and Carol Caughy, Markdale and Fred Caughy of Forest. Forty grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by husband Jim in 1990. Son-in-law Leo Doyle in 1983, grandson Robert James Heisler in 1963, great granddaughter Tina Marie Rosso in 1972. Predeceased by parents, one brother and two sisters. Bonnie came to Canada in 1947 to Windsor then to Northern Canada , to Dashwood and St. Marys before moving to Welland in 1996 and went into nursing home in 1999. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star #121 St. Marys. A private family funeral was held at Pelham Friends Evangelical Church conducted by Pastor Mathew Chesnes at 2:00 pm Friday Nov. 9th. Internment took place at Pardoville cemetery , Raleigh Twp., Ont. Commital service by Rev. Tim Joyce at 1:00 pm Saturday Nov. 10th. As expressions of sympathy donations to Heart and Stroke or the charity of one's choice would be deeply appreciated by the family by calling the L.A. Ball Funeral Chapel at 519-284-1480.

BOUCHER: Suddenly at his home in St. Marys on Monday January 14, 2002, Earl Boucher in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Violet Hicks (2001). Loving father of Suzanne Sharp and Ron of Dunnville, Dorinne Wagner and George of Georgetown and Sylvia Galloway and Bill of St. Marys. Dearly loved grandfather of John and Brenda, Jason and Sara, Christopher, Michelle, Brett and Ashley. Proud great grandfather of Joshua, Jordan and Joey. Sadly missed by sisters Pearl Proulx, Doris (Dolly) and Edgar Mainville all of Alymer Quebec, sisters-in-law Marge Boucher, Rachelle Boucher, Leota Hicks, Doris and Reg Cappleman and Shirley and Richard Lark and brothers-in-law Don and Barb Hicks, Dennis and Jean Hicks. Predeceased by his parents Mae and Thomas Boucher and brothers Gordon (Guy), Leonard and Kenneth (Dunc) Boucher. Relatives and friends were received by the family at the Sass Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the complete funeral service was held on Thursday January 17, 2002 Rev. Dalice Sim officiated. Cremation followed. Interment St. Marys cemetery at a later date. In his memory donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or your favourite charity would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

BOUCHER: The family of the late Earl Boucher would like to thank our friends, relatives, neighbours and everyone else who sent floral arrangements, donations, cards and food during this time of sadness. Predeceased by her parents Nellie Loyst and Edmund Facey, brother Kenneth Facey, sister Leone Hooper and brothers-in-law Gladwyn Hooper and George Channell. Relatives and friends were received by the family at the Sass Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys where the complete funeral service was held on Wednesday January 16, 2002 Rev. FLETCHER: At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2002 Wallace Edward Ribey Fletcher of St. Thomas in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (Addley) Fletcher and the late Joanne Fletcher. Dear farther of David of Aylmer, Lynda Ropchan and husband Derek of Lucan and Robin and Jay of St. Thomas. Grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother to Verna Woods of Hamilton and Gwen Finch of London. Predeceased by a son Michael and a brother Clair Fletcher. Born in St. Marys, Ontario on April 29, 1926, son of the late Clayton and Dorothy (Ribey) Fletcher. He lived in St. Thomas and formerly of Orwell. He worked for Northern Electric Company. Friends called at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday where the funeral service was held on Wednesday January 23, 2002, Rev. Norman Jones officiated. Interment Orwell cemetery. Donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

SWARTHOUT: Courtney (Court) Swarthout of Drayton and formerly of St. Marys, passed away peacefully, lovingly surrounded by his family at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 in his 75th year. Loving husband of Lavon and the late Vera Swarthout (1983). Dear father of Pamela and her husband Roy Couture of Berlin, New Hampshire; Marilyn Little and Gil Latimer of Bayfield, Ont.; Marjorie Swarthout of Brockville, Ont.; Paul Swarthout and his wife Bonnie of St. Marys, Ont.; Edward Swarthout and Joanne Brodhagon of Stratford, Ont.; and loved stepfather of Michael of Kitchener, Ont. Fondly remembered by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother Franklin Swarthout and his wife Nina of Penn Yan, New York; one sister Barbara and her husband Harry Crans of Dundee, New York; one sister-in-law Joan Swarthout of Waterloo, New York as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Helen (Rector) Swarthout and two brothers Donald and Steve Swarthout. Court was past president of Recreational Aircraft Association, Kitchener Branch, past president and active member of the Rotary Club of Drayton and active board member of Drayton Entertainment. Rev. Dirk Kramer conducted the Funeral Service in the Drayton Reformed Church, Drayton, on Monday December 24, 2001. Cremation followed.

MARTIN: Peacefully at Kingsway Lodge St. Marys on Thursday January 17, 2002, Mervin Henry Martin formerly of Fullarton Twp. in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Betty Martin (nee Searby) of St. Marys. Loving father of James and Carol Martin, R.R. 1, St. Marys; Judy and Larry Newcombe, Calgary and Janice Martin, London. Dear grandfather of Luke and Sarah Martin, R.R. 1, St. Marys; and Craig, Ian and Lara Newcombe of Calgary. Dear brother of Everett Martin and his wife May of Mount Forest; Alice Martin of St. Marys; Lois McIntosh and her husband Ross of Carlingford and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frank Martin and the former Violet Dilling and sister Ella Francis (2001). Relatives and friends were received by the family at the Robt. G. WALLIS: At St. Joseph's Hospital, London on Friday, December 21, 2001 W. Emerson (Jiggs) Wallis of Lucan and formerly of Granton in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Mary (Jones) Wallis for 56 years. TYLER: Peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday July 14, 2001, Ralph Lindsay Tyler of St. Marys in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Mae Sanderson (1989) and May Eley (1951). Dear uncle of Kathryn Durham, Jim and Marion Tyler, Sheila and Neil Macleod, Marie Tyler and Anita and Mark Sinkins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews through marriage. Predeceased by brothers, Earl, John, Crawford, Ivan and sister Mabel Hopson. Relatives and friends were received by the family at the Sass Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys where the funeral service was held on Wednesday July 18, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. MCINTOSH: In loving memory of Oliver T. McIntosh who was taken home on January 3, 2001. Our lives go on without you, But nothing is the same, We have to hide our heartache When someone speaks your name. You did so many things for us Your heart was kind and true, And when we needed something We could always count on you. He is sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. Dear brother of Olive Crago and Maxwell, Ancaster.
