Funeral service was held for Nellie (Migcheis) Van Dinther of RR 3, Kerwood, on May 21, 2001. She leaves five children, 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for W. Earle Steele of Strathroy was held on June 16, 2001. He leaves nine children, 23 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for William L. Fleming of Strathroy was held on July 4, 2001. He leaves his wife June, two children, and two grandchildren. Mr. Fleming founded and operated Strathroy Paint and Wallpaper for over 40 years, and was a long-time member of Strathroy and Middlesex County councils. He was also the first president of the Strathocha Shrine Club.
Funeral service for Chester D. Brown, formerly of Coldstream, was held on June 30, 2001. He died at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, and leaves his wife Florence Brown (Campbell), three children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Brown was the founder of Coldstream Concrete Ltd.
