Elizabeth Isabella “Betty“ (nee Finn) Stevenson

STEVENSON, Elizabeth Isabella “Betty“ (nee Finn) - Peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook, on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, Elizabeth (“Betty“) Stevenson, beloved wife of the late Russel Stevenson (1985), loved daughter of the late Patrick Finn and Elizabeth Gehan, predeceased by her sisters Marie Veronica Finn and brothers Oswald, Wilfred and Maxwell Finn. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Millie LaPlante, Ileen “Honey“ Robinson and Margaret Finn. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A private family funeral was held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. In memory of Betty, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the staff of Centennial Place for the great care and understanding shown to Betty.

Scott Bell

BELL, Scott Alexander passed away at Greater Niagara General Hospital on October 24th, 2006, in his 46th year. Scott is survived by his son, Noah, parents Florence Bell of St. Catharines and Jack Bell (Teresa) of Niagara on the lake, as well as his sister Tracey of Vancouver and brother Brad (Anna) of London, England. He will be greatly missed by aunts and uncles Sharon Gibson of Bradford Ontario. Donald (Diana) Bell of Eden, Prairie Minnesota, Sandra (Robt) Bunston of Niagara Falls, Phyllis Paniagua and Mary Ellyn Parker of St. Catharines and his cousins as well as his many friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, at 2:00 pm in St. Andrews Church, 342 Simcoe Street, Niagara on the Lake. A reception will be held in the church hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Ontario Brain Injury Association through the Niagara on the Lake Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes. KLUWER, Aebele E. - passed away peacefully on Thursday the 26th of October, 2006. Beloved husband to Henriette for 58 years. Kathleen (Kaye) Edith Dimma

DIMMA, Kathleen (Kaye) Edith - Suddenly and peacefully slipped away on Tuesday, October 17, 2006. She was the loving wife of the late Bruce Dimma, mother of Roger (Lesley) of Orillia, ON., Ronald (Elaine) and Ginny Robb (Willie) of Sault Ste. Marie. Kaye was blessed with eight grandchildren Geoffrey (Corrine), Darren (Silvia), Jennifer (Albert), Lori, (Johnny), Shelley, Angela, Julianne and Ryan as well as three great grandchildren Trayvaun, Riley and Logan. Dear sister of Vera Matthews (Ellwood). Pre-deceased by her parents Maynard and Ethel McClelland, sisters Minnie Vipond (late Stewart), Betty Barkley (late Warren), and brother John (wife Dorothy). Kaye, at 81 years of age, leaves us with a legacy of humour, wit and kindness. Kaye never created a sad tear during her life. Following cremation in line with Kaye's wishes a private family gathering was held and her ashes placed alongside her husband on the Garden Wall, Greenwood cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Luke's Cathedral, 160 Brock St., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario P6B 6C8 or a charity of your choice. In a celebration of Kaye's life the family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them at The Moose Lodge, 543 Trunk Road, Sault Ste. WRIGHT, Sharon Lillian (Nicholas) - passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the age of 61, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Cherished companion to Dennis Coventry. Loving mother to Bill (Ann) and Jeff (Cathy). Special friend and step-mom to Ken Coventry (Natasha), Don Coventry (Teena) and their families. Devoted Grandmother to Emily, Thomas, Jacob and Jordyn. Beloved daughter of the late Nick and Mary Nicholas. Dear sister of Randy (Debbie), Wendy (Gord), Brad and the late Bernie (Diane ) and the late Jack. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Customers and friends will remember Sharon for her smiling face behind the Deli counter of A&P for many years. William Worden Allen

ALLEN, William Worden - passed away peacefully in his sleep at Country Estates Retirement Home in Lindsay on Monday, October 23, 2006. Bill at the age of 90 was the beloved husband of Olive Emes for 64 years. Proud and much loved father of Bill and Alice, Dave and Roberta and Heather and Ron Horn. Devoted and loving grandfather of Thomas and Debbie, Tamara and Brad Smith, Jane and Reg Jenkins, Stephanie, Maureen, Marlowe and Bryan Horn. Treasured great grandfather of Kyle, Jonathan, Mandy Smith and Glen Allen. Predeceased by his four sisters and four brothers. Fondly remembered by his relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering with interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Stone church cemetery , Beaverton.

Giovanni retired from Algoma Steel in 1991 after 37 years of service. Beloved husband of Assunta Calcafuoco (nee Cicino). Loving father of Bianca James (John), Filomena del Castello (Enrico), Sandy del Castello (Riccardo), Gina MacMillan (Robert), Ciro Calcafuoco (Kathryn Maki), Ralph Calcafuoco (Rhonda Barriage), Joseph Calcafuoco (Sharon Venasse). Loving nonno of Cristina, Sonia and Riccardo del Castello, Alexandra del Castello, Donald and Adrienne MacMillan, Jordan, Jacob and Alexandra Calcafuoco, Christopher and Julian Calcafuoco, and Julia and Lisa Calcafuoco. Son of the late Cristofaro Calcafuoco and the late Bianca Camilla Fiorolina. Dear brother of the late Filomena Paris (the late Anthony Paris) of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Giuseppe Calcafuoco (Angela Calcafuoco), the late Raffaele Dragone (the late Petronilla Dragone), and Anella Pulente (Armando Pulente). Also fondly remembered and admired by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Cherished father of Kevin (Lorraine) of Colorado, Gordon (Debbie) of Calgary and Lana (John DeLorenzi) of Ottawa. Devoted grandfather of Billie-Anne, Brianne, Jessie-Lyn, Kolt and the late Katelyn Yeaman, Max and Remy DeLorenzi and step grandfather of 7. Predeceased by his father Kirk Yeaman and step-mother Martha Yeaman and mother Lydia Yeaman (nee Wilding). Son-in-law of the late Anne and Ted Harpe. Brother-in-law of Brenda Denning (Art), Michael Harpe (Terri) and Kenneth Harpe (Louise). Alfred will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Longtime friend of Maurice Roberts and special pal to Marci.
