WATT, Marion June - At the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, October 22, 2006. Mrs. Marion Watt at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Watt and dear mother of Judy Henry, Bill Watt and Patricia Farrell. Dear grandmother of 6, also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Edna Watson (Richard) and Emma Sarson. At Marion's request there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the ARTHUR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 11 am. Mrs. Joy McPhee officiating. Interment Greenwood cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

John Stewart Trudell

TRUDELL, John Stewart - At Quinte Healthcare Belleville General, on Monday, October 23, 2006. John Trudell, of Madoc, in his 92nd year. World War II Veteran and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Husband of Pat Trudell and the late Mildred May Trudell. Father of John, Mildred, Frances, Mary, Donna, Lloyd, Marie and the late William and Gloria. Survived by 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Brother of Marion Underwood, North Carolina, U.S.A. and Frank and Carol Trudell, Keene. The family will receive friends at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, Madoc, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service in the Madoc Chapel on Friday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. Interment White Lake cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

MACWHIRTER, Isabel - 1924 - 2006 - Our beloved mother and grandmother (Gandy), passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning in her eighty-third year. Survived by three children, Chuck (Fenella), Michael, and Sandy (Wes); eight grandchildren, Mandy, Sarah (Greg Royce), Katie (Chris Morrison), Maggie, Becky, Sean, Alan and Kaleigh as well as six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, one brother and husband Keith. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully accepted. CLINTON, Frank - Suddenly, at his residence, on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at age 53. Cherished and loved husband of Sharon (Giardetti). Dear and loving father of Jason and Meagan. Brother of Karen Homewood, Bonnie Holmes, Donna Cooke and her husband Robert, Trish Cowley, Robert Paul Godfrey and his wife Julia, and the late Margaret and Mary Clinton. Son of Shirley Chamberlain and the late Stanley Clinton. Step-son of the late Jack Chamberlain. Brother-in-law of Cathy and Andrew Affleck, Paul and Cindy Giardetti and Peter and Tara Giardetti. Son-in-law of Peter and Nadine Giardetti. Frank will be missed by many nieces and nephews. For all of his dear customers who visited Frank, sometimes daily at the Tip of the Burg, we lay to rest a big guy, a little guy, and the wedge fries you have come to love. Heaven is now a great place for a homemade burger and fries. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Sunday, October 29, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 30th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Jack (Rosella), Carolyn Cross (the late Manley), Judy (Murray McCleary), Hugh, Paul (Susan), Joanne, Kathy Bockelkamp, Doug, Greg, Peter (Joan), Frank, Colleen (Rick Jansen), Ted, Angela (Greg Bourne) and Yvonne (Don Rogoza). Sister-in-law of Bob Kelly (Marie) and Dorothy Brownscombe. Mrs. Kelly will also be missed by 36 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Larry (Shirley Davidson), and grandson Bryan. A funeral service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St., East, Cobourg, on Saturday October 28 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Jerome cemetery , Warkworth. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations by cheque to the Parkinson Society Canada, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the the Canadian Down Syndrome Society.

Great Nana to Korbin and Kameron. Beloved sister and best friend to Fern Allen (late Bud), Betty Corbett (Jack), Carole O'Neill, Gloria Seppala (Dorland) and the late Cora Shackelton, Bob Murray and Billy Murray. Tony is predeceased by his parents Dominic and Elvera, sisters; Annie Coyle (late Art) and Gloria Lucarelli (Eddie) of Toronto, and brothers; Bill (late Olga) and Joe (Eva). He is survived and loved by his sister Minnie Lucarelli (late Guido) of Toronto and brothers Nick (Nancy) and Julio (Nina) of Toronto. Tony will be lovingly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dearest friend of Vic & Marilyn Travaglini, Ron & Barb Evans and Eddie Beath. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his young hockey friends at the SRHA. Loving great grandmother of Samia and Matthew. Daughter of the late Gertrude and Edward MacDonald. Dear sister of Gerry, Harold, Gordon, Helen, Shirley and the late; Margaret, Joan, Charlie, Stanley, Ralph, Wally, Ronny and Clyde. Doris will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law Rodney Bock and his wife Susan and their family. Doris’ humour and care for others will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A private family funeral service was held at the Northwood Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2003. Interment at Greenwood cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A heartfelt thanks to Drs. Leahy, Owen, the nurses on 200 A and to all of those who assisted in Doris’ care.
