She was also a longstanding and active member of the Catholic Women's League at St. Vincent de Paul and St. Kevin's Parishes. TONELLO, Anne Marie (nee McGraw) - On Saturday, October 21, 2006, Anne Marie passed away peacefully at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY at the age of 65. Born in St. Isidore, NB, Anne Marie was the fourth child of Yvonne and the late Edmond McGraw. She grew up on a small family farm with four brothers and one sister. She made her way to University and obtained a degree in Registered Nursing in Moncton, NB. In 1963, she moved to begin nursing at the Kirkland Lake and District Hospital. She then married Liviano Tonello in 1964 and had one daughter, Nadia Tonello and husband Ian of Saskatoon. She spent much time with her daughter teaching Nadia all her favourite pastimes: painting, photography, ceramics, stamp collection, needlework and gardening. Although she held many jobs, nursing was her passion. In 1986 she moved to Burlington, Niagara Falls and then to St. Catharines. She was dedicated, compassionate, loving and had a great sense of humour. She will be deeply missed by her many friends, family and all the wonderful people at the Church of Christ. And on the day of rest, Sunday, October 22nd, while surrounded by the love of her family, our mother, in her 88th year, was gently carried into the hands of the Lord. Jeanette, a loving wife of 65 years will be deeply missed by her husband, James Joseph. Much loved mother to James (Ethel), Catherine (Brian), Denis (Karen), Noreen (Heinz) and Sharon (Mike). A devoted Grandma, Jean was very proud of her twelve grandchildren, Neil (Melanie), Erin, Kevin (Susan), Derek (Katie), Kathryn (Ken), Cheryl, Stephanie, Kristen, Kelly, Lindsay, Kaitlyn and Kyle, who will always love and cherish her memory. Jean was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Kourtney, Ryker, Matthew, Kolby and Austin, who are going to miss their great grandmama. Lovingly remembered and missed by her sisters, Irene and the late Robert, Susan and the late Lewis. Jean was also predeceased by her brother William, and sister's, May (Harry), Nellie (Bobby), Lillian (Bob), Norah (Arthur). Jeannette was born in Belfast on March 14, 1918 to Johanna and William Jenkins. She would often reminisce about the fun she had growing up with her six sisters. During the second world war she met the love of her life and married James on December 26, 1940. Jean and Jim decided to immigrate to Canada in 1957. They settled in Wawa where they made life long friendships while working and raising their family. Jean had a love of reading and for many years she shared her passion through her work at the town library. Jean and Jim retired and moved to Sault Ste. Marie where they enjoyed many happy years together traveling and visiting their family and friends. A celebration of Jean's life will be held at St, Monica's Church, Wawa on Thursday morning, October 26th at 11 a.m..
