Isabelle Charlotte Dingman

DINGMAN, Isabelle Charlotte - Peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Sunday, January 21, 2007, Isabelle Charlotte Dingman, age 89, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late John Byron Dingman (March 1987). Born in Raleigh Township in 1917, daughter of the late Laura Henderson and George Cleeve. Dear sister of Wilfred Cleeve of Chatham. Also surviving is a niece Debbie Mardling and her husband George of Chatham and a nephew Doug Cleeve and companion Rosie Walsh of Sarnia. She is predeceased by a brother Ralph Cleeve and a sister Marjorie Strain. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Chapel Service will be conducted in HINNEGAN-PESESKI FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday, January 25, 2007. Time of the service is incomplete and will be announced tomorrow. Burial will take place in Pardoville Union cemetery. Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated.

John Morley Osborne

OSBORNE, John Morley - Of Morpeth, passed away on Friday January 19, 2007 at London Victoria Hospital. He was born in Chatham 64 years ago, son of the late John Osborne and Mildred Wightman. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, the former Frances Isabell Maynard. Dear father of John, Robert, Frank and Bonnie all of RR#3 Blenheim, Tom and Ted of Morpeth. Proud grandfather of Amber Rose and Natasha Marie. Brother to Doug and Marilyn, Belmont; Dave, Don and Dorothy of Blenheim. Many nieces and nephews also survive as well a sister-in-law Lillian. John is predeceased by brother Gordon. Resting at the J.L. FORD FUNERAL HOME in Blenheim for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am with Rev. Tim Joyce officiating. The Blenheim Moose Lodge will hold a Memorial Service Monday evening at 7:30 pm. Cremation will follow with the burial of the urn to take place in the Morpeth cemetery. Memorials to the Heart & Stroke or Diabetes Foundations would be appreciated.

SHAW, Robert “Bob“ Bruce - A resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at age 86. Born and resided at 133 Elizabeth St. in Chatham, son of the late Robert and Jennie (Matthew) Shaw. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Pegg) Shaw (2001). Loving father of Don Shaw and his wife Rosanne, Lynda and her husband Tom Cadotte, Nancy and her husband Ken Reinhart and the late Dennis Shaw (2005). Father in law of Sharon Shaw. Grandfather of Bryan and his wife Seana Cadotte and Jennifer Cadotte and her fiancé Greg Thomas, Rachel and Allison Shaw, Pamela, Heather and Lisa Shaw, Justin and Bradley Reinhart and the late Brent Shaw (1978). Great grandfather of Dreah Hennessey. Dear brother of Betty Ouellette and her husband Larry and Gwen Hitchcock. Brother in law of Lillian Pegg, Jim and Marie Pegg, Madge Solski and Bob Trudell and Bob Draganits. Predeceased by his sisters Bonnie and Geraldine Shaw, and his in laws Irvin and Jean Pegg, Bruce Hitchcock, Dean Pegg and Norma Draganits. Beloved uncle of many special nieces and nephews. Bob was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Brach #628, a veteran of WWII serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp. and worked at the Public General Hospital for 27 1/2 years until his retirement in 1986. Loving mother of William Hay (Hope) of Sweaburg and Jeffery Hay (Tracy) of Chatham. Step mother of Alan, Joan, Darlene and Virginia. Dear grandmother of Stephanie, Trevor, Leslie, Christina and Tyler. Sadly missed by sister Beverly Gillen (Reg) and sister in law Joyce Applegate. Predeceased by her sisters Iris Bartlett (Mel) and Dorothy Monger (Fred) and brothers Stanley and Walter Applegate. FLEMING, Margaret - Suddenly at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her parents, Lena & Arthur Huard, her husband Harold, her daughter Patricia, son John and granddaughter Sarah. Loving mother of Judy Leduc and her husband Baxter and Peggy Collins and her husband Stan. Fondly remembered by her grandsons Stephen and Scott. Survived by two sisters, Dorothea and Pauline and by one brother, Edward. Predeceased by her siblings George, Esther, Fred, Robert and Peter. In honour of Margaret's wishes a Memorial Service will be held at a later date, cremation has already taken place. Donations may be made to the Charity of one's choice and would be greatly appreciated by the family. GRIFFIOEN, Gerretje (Gerrie) - Entered into the presence of her Saviour on Thursday, January 18th, 2007, at the Kawartha Lakes Extendicare, Lindsay. Gerrie (nee Stammis), at the age of 75, was the beloved wife of Bill Griffioen (1992). Loving mother of Cora and Richard Wilms, Henry and Lois Griffioen, Annette Griffioen, Geraldine and John McFall; also predeceased by Anita (1990) and Richard ( 2004). Beloved grandma of fourteen grandchildren and proud Oma of three. Dear sister of Nel VanAbbema, Martin Stammis, John and Martha Stammis; also Cornelis and Jacob predeceased. Dear sister-in-law of Evelyn Stammis, Jaap and Diny Griffioen, Rie Griffioen, Jan and Greetje Griffioen, Simon and Jo Griffioen, Jane and John Uyl, Joanne Oosterdag, Nic and Mary Griffioen, Ida and Yde Andringa; also Willie and Henk predeceased. Visitation will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 206 Angeline Street North, Lindsay on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service for Gerrie will be held at the Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, January 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Riverside cemetery , Lindsay, will be held privately. Memorial donations to the Heritage Christian School or Lindsay Crisis Pregnancy Centre would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay.

Loving mother of Manfred (Marion), Maria (Murray), George (Una) and Herb (Deb). Loved grandmother of Annette (Todd), Erich (Trish), Andrew (Sara), Una, Amanda, Kristen, Rachelle, and Ryan and great grandmother of Kayla, Sara, Taylor and Morgan. Dear sister of Suse (Erich) and the late Rudie (the late Christel). Gertrud will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment at Lakeside cemetery - South Valentia. QUIBELL, Mary E. (Mae) - Peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at the age of 96. Mary Quibell (nee Murtha), was the beloved mother of Lorraine Kimball, Tom, Shirley and her husband Ken and Eric and his wife Doris. Loved grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Fergus and Joseph and her sister. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Lena Murtha and her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's Catholic Church, 40 Russell Street East, Lindsay on Monday, January 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery , Lindsay. Wife of the late Bruce Gillmore. Mother of Ridley and his wife Meryl of Southampton. Grandmother of David. Also survived by her sister Ailene Doherty of Clearwater Florida. Fondly remembered by her friend Alisha Eager of Clearwater Florida. McKEAN, Andrew Travis - Suddenly and as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident of Friday January 19, 2007. Andrew McKean, beloved son of Greg and Lori (Andrus) McKean of RR 1, Clarksburg, in his 18th year. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister Mallory. Cherished grandson of Myrna (late Bob) Andrus of Clarksburg and Frank McKean (late Helen) of Gibraltar. Also remembered by his special friend Brooke Batty. Dear nephew of John and Lea McKean, Donald and Karen McKean, and Nancy McKean and remembered also by their families. Dear mother of Penny and her husband Murray Kewaquom of Saugeen First Nation, Linda and her husband Rick Carr of Southampton, Sheryl and her husband John Kelly of RR1 Kincardine, Brenda and her husband Mark Reany of Southampton, Laurie Middleton of London, Janette Seppala of Brooklyn, Tami Moorish of Guelph and Lisa and her husband Lorne Kew of Stratford. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and her 29 great grandchildren. Also survived by her first husband Leonard Middleton of Sarnia and by her former partner Jim Nelson of Southampton. Predeceased by her son Harold (Butch) and by her great granddaughter Mackala. Drew MacKenzie Perry

PERRY, Drew MacKenzie - Drew Perry, beloved son of Rob and Jan (Roberts) Perry of Clarksburg and awesome brother of Tyson and Jared, passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident on Friday, January 19, 2007 in his 17th year. Drew was the cherished grandson of Graham and Marlene Roberts of Clarksburg and Irene Robertson of Meaford and he will be fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation. A memorial funeral service, officiated by Reverend Dr. Brian Goodings, will be conducted at Grace United Church in Thornbury on Tuesday, January 23 at 1:30p.m. In lieu of flowers and as your expression of sympathy, donations to the Beaver Valley Athletic Association would be appreciated and may be made through the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, THE VALLEY CHAPEL, 20 Alice Street East, Box 556, Thornbury N0H 2P0 (519-599- 2718) to whom arrangements have been entrusted. A private family disposition of Drew's ashes will take place at a later date.

Robert “Bob“ Clark Phillips

PHILLIPS, Robert “Bob“ Clark - Born February 11, 1928. passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, surrounded by his family, on January 20, 2007. Soul mate and cherished husband of 54 years to Evelyn Elda Phillips (nee, McTavish). Dedicated, caring father to Robert (partner Katherine Nawrocki), George (wife Katherine Reid) and Carol (husband Dr. Ian Cook). Loved brother of Margaret Fulmer and Bill Phillips. Proud grandfather of seven; Ryan, Jeremy, Curtis, Adrian, Jed, Clara and Ben. With his brother Bill, Bob was able to build a small tinning business into the largest, galvanizing company in Canada. He was past president of the American Galvanizers Association, Kingsway Kiwanis, past master of Mizpah Masonic Lodge and was a member of Islington United Church. Bob celebrated and enjoyed life to the very end, always anticipating and preparing for the next adventure; winters in Florida, fishing in Manitoulin and groundskeeping at the farm in Flesherton. He had a passion for flying. He was in his glory in the cockpit of his floatplane flying to Sans Souci. Bob dealt positively with Parkinson's disease for 16 years. Through the loving care of Irene Simms and Evelyn, Bob lived with dignity and happiness in his own home. We admired Bob for his stamina, determination and indomitable will. He is now free of his struggle with Parkinson's and can be at peace. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Toronto, on Thursday, January 25th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation and service continues at the Fawcett Funeral Home in Flesherton, Ontario.
