Peacefully, at the Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Freida Fernengel. Loving father of Gerda Kloos, Emma Hugel, Martin Fernengel, Norm Fernengel and Bill Fernengel. Cherished grandfather of Martin, Janice, Uwe and Jamie. Dear brother of Regina Moosberger and Fred Fernengel. Friends were received at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Saturday December 30th from 12 Noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation. Spring interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Midland. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.

Passed away at his residence on Sunday December 24, 2006. Milford Dutcher of Toronto, formerly of Midland in his 86th year. Brother of the late Frank (Francis) and Milton Dutcher. Fondly remembered by Frances Dutcher of Mississauga, Kevin Dutcher and his wife Lynn of Haileybury, Pete Dutcher and his wife Christine of Burlington, and families. Friends called at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Wednesday January 3rd from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 p.m. Spring interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Passed away peacefully on January 1, 2007 in her 68th year. Loving spouse to "Duck" Swales for 35 years. Caring mother to Elizabeth, William, Larry, Shane, Denise and predeceased by Penny. Grandmother to 11 special grandchildren. Great grandmother to 3 great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Wednesday January 3rd from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service was held in the chapel on Thursday January 4th at 10 a.m. Cremation. If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Dear father of Heather and her husband Brad Holden, Paul Cridland, Stephen and his wife Linda, and Karen and her husband Gary. Loving grandfather of Joshua, Daniel, Kyle, Sarah, Stacey, Mark, Laura, Ashley and Sabastian. He will be fondly remembered by his friend gord Underdown. Passed away at the Huronia District Hospital, Midland on Monday, December 25, 2006 in her 66th year. Victoria Brinovec of Midland, in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Valentin Brinovec. Dear mother of Valentin, and Anton and his wife Kimberly. Loving grandmother of Ellea Victoria and Noah. She is survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters in Slovenia. Friends called at the Nicholls Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Margaret's Church, Midland on Friday, December 29th at 10 a.m. Spring interment at St. Margaret's Cemetery. Passed away peacfully at home on Saturday January 13, 2007 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Robert Gordon Newman. Loving mother of Lynda and her husband Peter Semec of Brampton, Glenys and her husband Dave Parent of Penetanguishene and Heather and her husband David Nicholson of Newmarket. Sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren Alexandra, Bradyn, Blair, Michael, twins Paul and Colan, Emma and twins Jacquelyn and Lindsey. Dear sister of John, Bill, Gerry, Francis, Phyllis, David and the late Doris. She will also be missed by her many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was a retired R.N. with over 25 years of service at St. Andrew's and Huronia District Hospitals and was always very active in her community and church. Friends will be received at the NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Thursday Janaury 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd, Wyebridge on Friday January 19 at 1 pm. Spring burial at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations to Church of the Good Shepherd or charity of choice would be appreciated.

Dear mother of David Stainton and his wife Doreen of Penetanguishene, Elaine and her husband Stephen Galt of Cawaja Beach and the late Albert Stainton. Cherished grandma of John, Randy, Kelly, Kathy, Scott, Jamie, Jennifer and Karen. She will be fondly remembered by her 11 great grandchildren. Mother in law of Jean Stainton. Sister of Marjorie Sykes and the late Albert Blythe.
