LAVOIE, Donald John Peacefully, Monday October 9, 2000 age 77. Husband of the late Doris Copeman. Son of the late Evelyn and William Lavoie. Father of John (husband of Heather), Ken (husband of Ave) and Donna (wife of Dale Mandryk). Much loved grandfather of Robbie, Jennifer, Tanya, David, Nicole and Jenna. Brother of Norma Lepage, Dorothy, Gordie and the late Robert. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and his many friends at Laurier Manor. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans Friday after 10 a.m. A Service in Memory of Donald will be held Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In Memoriam, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Laurier Manor Resident's Council Fund appreciated.

Beloved husband of Jeanne-Rose Beaulieu. Dear father of Marc (Susan Bedok), Rose-Anne (Robert Lemay), Lucie (Ronald Richer), Francois (Micheline St-Denis), Francoise (Jean-Luc Tremblay), Louis (Suzanne Brunet), Jean (Carole Boisvert) and Sylvain (Brigitte Quirouette). Loving grandfather of Alain, Josee-Michele, Melanie, Patrick, Benoit, Pierre-Luc, Jean-Andre, Tania, Valerie, Nicholas and Erick. Survived by his sister Therese Benner, brother Gerard and brother-in-law Guy Beaulieu (Paula Daigneault). Also survived by one nephew, 4 nieces and many friends. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday October 14, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame de Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Rd, Vanier. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Hattie (Gates) Gray of Hebron, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, her sister Shirley Williams (Alison) and her brothers Bernard, Malcolm, Bryan and Donn (Norma). Special thanks to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital, Ottawa-Carleton Community Care Access Centre, White Cross Pharmacy, Dr. Robert Eaton and especially the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care staff for care provided. Dear brother-in-law of Bill MacWilliam (Sandra), Leigh MacWilliam (Judy) and Elizabeth Argent (Robert). Much loved son-in-law of Marion and the late Ralph MacWilliam. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Brian and Dan. Steve was a loving and patient man who over 30 years of teaching, touched the lives of many of his students. PENNY, Rev. Joseph G., CSB Grateful for the continued prayers and care of confreres and friends, died peacefully in Toronto, Ontario June 11, 2000. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 8, 1926, he made his first profession of vows in the Congregation of St. Basil in September, 1945 and was ordained a priest in June, 1953. He enjoyed his ministry as a teacher, hospital chaplain, and in parish work in Toronto and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. "Bub" shared happily in the family life of his two sisters, Clare and Francis, and their seven children and 21 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a wake service at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2000, in the Chapel of the Cardinal Flahiff Basilian Centre, 95 St. Joseph Street, Toronto, Ontario. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Basil's Church, 50 St. Joseph Street, Toronto, Ontario. Burial will follow at Holy Cross cemetery.
