Patrick Domini Kitchin of Tamworth at age 68, predeceased by his mother Mavis Hudson and step father Mietik Zawilski. Beloved husband of Marilyn Kitchin (Hinchey). Father of Sarah Kitchin of Calgary, Alberta and Peter Kitchin of Westchester, New York. Grandfather of: Emily, Kate, Jake and Gabriella Kitchin. Dear brother of Joanna Hudson-Demerais (Jacques) of Toronto; Christine Meehan (Tony) of Australia; Julia Carey of Toronto; Jane Conway of Coldwater; Lillian Ligouri (Michael) of Boston; Joanie Mitchell of Fort Erie and Linda Lippi of Fort Erie. Brother-in-law of Helen Ritchie (Bob McKean) of Barrie; Danny Hinchey (Joanne) of Tamworth; Diane Adie (Doug Beer) of Belle Ewart, Ont., and the late Jane Wisteard (Peter of Kingston) and Herb Hinchey (Linda of Tamworth). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth on Saturday, November 10 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Christ Church Cemetery in Tamworth followed by a luncheon at the Royal Canadian Legion in Tamworth from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital, Lupus Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Suddenly at home on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. Shirley Rose Wilson (nee Gilchrist) of Napanee at age 59. Beloved wife of Robert Wilson and dear mother of Sonja Bronkhorst (Matthew Brant) of Napanee, and Scott Wilson (Chelsea) of Morven. Fondly remembered by 7 grandchildren. Sister of David; Robert; Margaret Milligan; Nellie Thompson; and the late Frank Gilchrist and Edna Howie. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No service. Daughter of William and Mabel Marlin (deceased); dear sister of the late Marion McLaughlin (late Gerald). Predeceased by her devoted husband, Victor, daughter Marlene and grandson Mark, as well as her sister-in-law Iva Asselstine (late Aubrey). Loving mother of Maurice (Laura) and Gary (Heidi). Proud Gramma of Jennifer Hamm (Graeme), Chad McGregor, Shane and Aaron (Tara) McGregor. Great-gramma of Larissa and Aleczander Hamm. Cherished Sister-in-Law of Audrey Brown (Claude), Dorothy Wagar (Late Jack) and Marie Griffin (late Sid). A caring friend, neighbour, cousin and aunt to many, especially her sister’s children Sandra, Karl, Brenda and Bill. Cremation has taken place. After a short but courageous battle, Lyle Christian passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with his wife, daughter, and family by his side on Monday, April 22, 2013, in his 67th year. Best friend and beloved husband of 38 years to Barbara (nee Lowry). Loving and devoted father of Melanie Christian. Cherished brother of Ross (Yvonne) and Brian. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Marion, and dear nephew of Ethel Bailey (New Brunswick). Loved son-in-law of Doris Lowry, brother-in-law of Steve (Deb), Brenda (Doug), Brian (Angie), and Kevin (Betty). Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In his 75th year, at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, Napanee. Husband of Barbara (Forbes) and father of Rob (Heidi) and Susan (Christopher Bowie). Gramper to Charlotte and Molly Elliott; Stella and Ronan Bowie. Survived by Brother John Baker Elliott (Sandra) and family. Brother-in-law to Don and Lynne Forbes, and Judy and Peter Stockdale and families. The Elliott family wishes to express appreciation for the wonderful care he received from the staff at L&A Hospital. Bill made many friends at St. Mary’s C.O.P.D. Rehab. Thank you for your support and comradery. Mother of Margaret (Ian) Ferguson, Courtney BC; Carol Jean (Bill) Thomas, Mount Hope; Douglas (Lesley), Belleville; Alex (Joan), Surrey BC. Survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. At Margaret's request there will be no visitation, family service to be held at a later date.
