Suddenly, on Monday, April 9, 2012. Sherri Lynn Horner (nee Gordon) at age 49. Beloved wife of Stephen Horner. Mother of Achsa Lanzellotti; sister of Lori and Mike Gordon and daughter of Beverley Gordon. Sister-in-law of Carolyn, Michael and Christopher Horner and Jeanette Watling and daughter-in-law of Edna and Harold Horner. Cremation has taken place. At the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, March 29, 2012, Anthony Earl Holmes of Napanee at age 87. Son of the late Anthony Elias Holmes and Lila Sarah Fitzpatrick. Survived by his sister Natalie Hartin (Frank) of Kingston. Predeceased by brother Donald (Nancy) Holmes and close friend Patricia Culhane. Sadly missed by his nieces June (late Stan) Linklater of B.C., Joan (late Bernie) Chaisson of Trenton and nephew Gary (Margie) Holmes of Napanee. Great loss to his great-nephews Tony and Frank Hartin Jr. of Kingston. In respect of Tony s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Predeceased by her husbands Thomas Conners and Harold Conners, her parents William and Lillian Huff, sisters Isabelle Harris, Maud Voils, Addie Prout, Mary Morton, Ethel Spackman, Nina Walsh-Alker and brothers George, William, Charles, Thomas and Ernest Huff. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Herbert Punchard at St. Mary s of the Lake Hospital in Kingston after a courageous battle with cancer, at age 82. Beloved husband of J. Doreen Punchard (nee Green) and dear father of Linda Ueberschaer (Rolfe) of Kingston and Judith Young (Matthew) of Picton. Dearest grandfather of Laura; Steven and Nicholas. Brother of Lewis Punchard (Mildred) and uncle of Karen and Greg Punchard. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Annie Punchard. Forever in our hearts as a loving gentle man and father
(Old) Gord Burley passed away peacefully in his 101st year at The John M. Parrott Centre with his family by his side, on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Predeceased in 1991 by his loving wife of 60 yrs, Lena Westfall. He is survived by his 4 children Ernie (Marion), Gord (Barbara), Beverley (Richard) and Sharon; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. A casual gathering to celebrate our Dad s life will be held at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Saturday, December 15 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Belleville cemetery. Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee, on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Mark Allan Walker of Tamworth at age 55. Beloved husband of Angela Walker and dear father of Kevin (Krista) of Tamworth; Michael (Devon) of Kingston and Jake of Tamworth. Grandfather of Mason Walker of Tamworth. Brother of Susan Thoms (late Ken) of Oshawa and Cynthia Parrott of Belleville. Brother-in-law of Richard Pumple (Jane) of Rhode Island; Betty Ann Garside (John) of Tacoma; Joyce Pumple (Steve Raymond) of Trenton; Judy Pumple (Rene LaRiviere) of Dorval, Quebec; and Valerie Pumple (Tim Kier) of Victoria BC. Dear son of the late George and Gretta Walker and son-in-law of Ann Pumple of Trenton and the late Jack Pumple. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at the Church of the Assumption in Erinsville on Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by cremation. LONG, Harold "Brydon" Long
Went home to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep early Thursday morning November 8th, 2012, at Arbour Heights in Kingston, fifteen days shy of his 95th birthday. Brydon, as everyone called him, was born Nov 23, 1917 in a log house on the farm at Tamworth, and as dad would say with pride, Lot 13 concession 7 in the Township of Sheffield. Dad took over the farm when he was 18 and farmed there until his retirement in 1991. In 1992 he and mum moved to Tamworth and stayed there until they moved to Kingston in 2000. Dad loved his wife, Grace, and on his 60th wedding anniversary said, that if he had to do it all over again, he would still marry her . Dad was very proud of his children and of his community, and proud to be a farmer. Brydon is survived by Grace (Hart) his wife of 62 years; children: James (Neyda) of Nasonworth N.B., Sharon of Kingston, Larry (Velvet) of Tamworth, Lois (Ian) of New Maryland N.B., Christina (Dean) of Lakefield, and William (Sara) of Kingston. Fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. His brother Ross and his sister Mary, both of Napanee. Predeceased by his daughter Margaret, his grandson Jordon, his brother Ken and his parents Russell and Janet Long. Special thanks to Dr. Kilpatrick and the staff at Arbour Heights, Dr. McFadzean of Tamworth and Dr. Lee of Kingston and the OPPU at Kingston General Hospital. And a special thanks to our sister, Sharon, for taking care of all of dad s needs. We are all forever grateful. Memorial Service will be held at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee (Wannamaker-Tierney Chapel) at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow service. In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Dad you will be missed, but you left us with nothing but fond memories.

SPINKS, Myrtle
On October 13, 2012, Myrtle (Marnie) Spinks passed away peacefully at the Village Green Nursing Home in Selby. Predeceased by her husband Wesley Spinks and son John Spinks (Shirley) formerly of Belleville Ontario. Survived by sons Jory (Betty Anne) of LeDuc Alberta and Jim (Cheryl Furlong) of Napanee Ontario. Fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren: Mark, Don, Darren, Steve & Jayme Spinks. Sadly missed by her wonderful friend Wilda (Willie) Armstrong of Belleville. Many thanks to the staff of Village Green Nursing Home for the love and wonderful care Marnie received. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place in Toronto. CONGER, Helen
With her family by her side, at The John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee on November 8, 2012. Helen Josephine Daverne Conger of Napanee in her 98th year. She was born in Adolphustown April 4, 1915. Predeceased by her parents George and Elva (Bruner) Daverne, her 6 siblings and their spouses, Lorne and Violet Daverne, Cummings and Jean Daverne, Elda and Lyn Gray, Dick and Grace Daverne, Florence and Jack Haight, Nora and Bill Lewis. Helen lived and worked in Toronto until retirement from Canadian National Telegraph. She will be sadly missed by her children John and Cheryl Storms, Elva and Joe Aitchison, her grandchildren, Johnny Storms, Rick and Fleur Storms, Alan and Christine Aitchison, Craig and Sally Aitchison, Dan Aitchison, her great grandchildren Justin, Richard, Colin, Kayla, Callie, Melissa, Alicia, Aaron, Hailey and Nicholas and by her many nieces and nephews and their families. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee (Wannamaker-Tierney Chapel) at 123 Dundas Street West (613-354-3341) on Monday November 12th from 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 11:00. Interment at Saint Albans Anglican Church cemetery in Adolphustown. If desired, memorial donations to The John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Grandmother to Jacob and Jared and Zane, Seth and Dexx. Sister of Elizabeth Goodman and Michael Webster. She will be sadly missed by her cherished dogs Abbey, Bailey, Chip and Delaney.
