One of her great concerns was the welfare of animals. If one so wishes, tributes may be made to the S.P.C.A. or the charity of one's choice. Good bye my friend, and staunch support through pleasures and through sorrow; I'll miss your smile, your wit, your love as I face each tomorrow. We lived in peace with what we had 'twas never very royal. Sometimes we went our "own sweet way" but always we were loyal. We took our little "home on wheels" o'er thousand miles of highway or through the woods on narrow trail or oft on some faint by-way. We walked beside the restless sea or roaring waterfall; or by smooth lake where soul was stirred by male loon's eerie call. God called you home to your reward one day in cold November, your last concern was all for me; this thought I will remember. So come to me sometime in thought while I sit in meditation; I'll feel the touch of your presence near with your spirit's visitation. (11/19/1997).
