May was predeceased by her father, Edward Schultz; mother, Lena; brothers Elmer and Jack; sister, Elsie; daughter Marlene; and husband, Morgan.
She is survived by daughter Ann and husband Wayne Justinen of Beaumont; sister Bunnie Boehlke of Hanna; sister Billie Boehlke of Calgary; son-in-law James McGuire of Leask, SK; grandchildren Trevor Justinen and wife Natasha of Edmonton; Jodi Schatschneider; husband Corden, and children Nathan and Amanda of Red Deer; Cory Justinen of Edmonton, Brent Justinen of Edmonton; Shawn McGuire, wife Connie, and children Nolan and Logan of Clearwater, MB; and Shana Amundson and husband Jason of Saskatoon, SK.
Pallbearers: Trevor Justinen, Shawn McGuire, Cory Justinen, Jason Amundson, Brent Justinen, and Cordel Schatschneider.
Funeral Services were held at the Endiang Community Hall, Endiang, AB on Thursday, October 16, 2003. Interment to follow at the Endiang Cemetery.

DIONNE, MaryAnn "Judy" (nee: Jones) September 19, 1932 - April 8, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and gentle friend. Those left to cherish Judy's memory are son Tom (Linda) Sabroski; daughter Judy (Brian) McGowan; grandchildren Erin (Aron) Dahl; Ryan Sabroski; Michelle McGowan; Michael (Dana) McGowan; great-grandchildren Mikaela, Max, Cole and Trystan; sister Vi Kallio; brothers Art (Dale) McKinnon and Fred (Heather) McKinnon as well as numerous other relatives and friends. We would like to extend our appreciation for the compassionate care given by Mr. Dusang as well as the staff at St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital. In respect of Judy's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. William (Bill) Charles Cross, of Red Deer
William (Bill) Charles Cross passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on December 4, 2004 at the age of 82. Bill is survived by his loving wife Betty June, his sons: Randy (Linda) of Fox Creek, AB, Barry (Lynne) of Salmon Arm, BC and Gregory of Golden, BC, his daughters; Julie (Norm) Roe of Red Deer, AB and Jacquie (Dennis) Charlton of Cochrane, AB; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Damon Horsfall, Waterloo, ON, Marla and Jason DeGroot, Cambridge, ON, Shaun and Nicole Cross, Fox Creek, AB, Breanne Cross and Coby Cross, Salmon Arm, BC, Chris Roe, Red Deer, AB, Jeff and Kerry Roe, Red Deer, AB, Michelle Charlton and Patrick Charlton of Cochrane, AB. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, step-mother-in-law, Anne Aitcheson, step-brother-in-law Richard (Fran) Cooke and family of Calgary, AB. He was pre-deceased by his parents William and Dorothy Cross.
Born May 13, 1922 in West-Tadcaster, England, Bill immigrated to Canada in 1923, where he grew up in Lethbridge, AB. Bill served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1942 to 1946 with the 18th Armored Car Regiment, Signal Corps, after which he returned to Lethbridge.
Bill married Betty June Culler, September 29, 1948 and moved to Hanna, AB where he owned and operated Bill Cross Men’s Shop with locations in Hanna, Oyen and Drumheller for over 35 years. Hanna was their home for 51 years and was the birthplace of all five children.
While in Hanna, Bill served on the School and United Church boards, PDDGM of the Masonic Order, Past Patron of the Eastern Star, member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Coach and GM of the Hanna Rams Senior football team and was very involved in minor and junior hockey.
After retiring Bill spent twelve wonderful years raising and showing miniature horses with the help of his wife and family. He enjoyed golfing and curling and since moving to Red Deer was currently pursuing his new found passion for music. Bill’s smile and witty humor left a deep impression on many and touched the hearts and lives of all who had met him in business and friendship. He will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of all who loved hin.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Thursday, December 9th, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Brenda Kersell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the the Canadian Mental Health Awareness, 5017 – 50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 4B2, Canadian Diabetes Association, 5015 – 48 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1S9, S.T.A.R.S. #1441 Aviation Park N.E., Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 9Z9 or the charity of your choice.

Jack Benjamin Heck, of Salmon Arm
Jack Benjamin Heck passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at the age of 86 at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Betty, and three step children: Walter Peterson and Gloria (Jack) Flower, both of Edson, AB; and Keith (Doris) Peterson of Chase, BC; sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Jack also has two surviving sisters, Clara (88) of Calgary, AB, and Marie (90) of Hanna, AB.
He was predeceased by two other sisters, and five brothers, all of the Hanna area.
Dad will be remembered by the many people with whom he lawn bowled, alley bowled, curled and attended church. For the past 25 years, Dad spent much of his time volunteering doing maintenance work at his church, and faithfully keeping the grass mowed and conditioned at the Salmon Arm Lawn Bowling greens.
Jack was born in Hanna, Alberta on January 26, 1917 and was raised on the farm at Sunnynook about 35 miles southeast of Hanna. He served in the Second World War from 1941 to 1946. He served in the Provost Corps, hauling clothing and supplies to the front lines in France, Italy, Sicily, Holland and Germany. When he returned to Hanna after the war, he met Elizabeth Peterson, who he later married. They began farming at Caroline, Alberta in 1947, and retired to Salmon Arm in 1975.
Dad had the brightest smile and sparkling blue eyes and was the favourite uncle and grampa of many, many children. He will be dearly missed.
Funeral services, led by Pastor Larry Dyck, were held on Monday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Salmon Arm. A lunch followed. Interment was at the Mount Ida Cemetery in Salmon Arm. Arrangements entrusted to Bowers Funeral Services of Salmon Arm.
Drobot, Mike
DROBOT, Mike On Sunday, April 9, 2006, Mr. Mike Drobot of Edmonton passed away at the age of 83 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Olga; one daughter, Vera Drobot; one son, Walter (Ann), and their children, Alan and Brian; sister-in-law, Stella; three nephews and one niece, Michael (Anna), Willy (Helen), Nick (Shannon), Lucy (Brooke), and their families; special friends, Glenn (Chris) Stadnyk and their family; and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Pantelemon and Ahafia; and brother, Walter. Mike was a man who loved his family and enjoyed his friends. He believed in working hard, but also loved life and had a strong faith and trust in God. We, the family, wish to thank the very caring nurses and doctors in Emergency and the ICU at Royal Alexandra Hospital. We would also like to thank Very Reverend Planchak and Reverend Hupalo for their spiritual support. Prayers Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825-97 Street. Divine Liturgy Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. Very Reverend Mihajlo Planchak and Reverend Bill Hupalo will be officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
