Mrs. Cheryl Warren of Edmonton passed away in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. Cheryl will be sadly missed by her loving family; husband Carl Warren of Edmonton, one son Jeremy Hummelle of Edmonton, her parents Walter and Shirley Ditchuk of Tomahawk, two sisters, Lori (Gary) of Calgary, Lendy (Grant) of 100 Mile House, B.C., two brothers, Daryl (Connie) of Tomahawk, Terry (Bev) of Caroline, maternal grandmother Bernice Sullivan of Rocky Rapids, paternal grandmother Anastasia Ditchuk of Edmonton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 17 at 1100 a.m. at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stars Air Rescue Service Foundation #52 Airport Road, Edmonton, AB T5G 0W6.
NAPIER, Karen Diane
It is with profound sadness and deep regret that we announce the passing of Karen Diane Napier of Grande Cache, Alberta, beloved wife of “Butch” on January 10th, 2015 at the age of 49 years.
Besides her loving husband “Butch" Karen is survived by her son Devin (Tina Lively) Napier and their children Casey and Autumn of Grande Cache, Alberta and her daughter Ariel (Dan) Bouchard and their daughter Capri also of Grande Cache, Alberta.
Also surviving are her parents Jack and Ruth Christoffer of Armstrong, BC and her brother Bryan (Renee) Christoffer of Morinville, Alberta.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday, January 16th, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Grande Cache United Church with Pastor Esther Baerends officiating and interment of cremated remains followed in the Grande Cache Cemetery, Grande Cache, Alberta.

Jean Dressler nee: Ahlskog, of Drayton Valley
On Monday October 20, 2003 Mrs. Jean Dressler of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 71 years.
She will be sadly missed but forever treasured in the memories of her loving family; four sons, Don (Joan) of Devon; Lyle of Sylvan Lake; Lynn (Carolyn) of Drayton Valley; Gerald (Joanne) of Drayton Valley; daughter-in-law Cheryl of Devon; ten grandchildren and Mr. Erwin Dressler; two brothers and their wives, Ron (Lois) Ahlskog of Stony Plain; Butch (Gail) Ahlskog of Edmonton; one sister, Mrs. Doreen (Russ) McColeman of Canoe, B.C. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jean Dressler was predeceased by her parents and sister, Joyce.
Funeral services were held in Drayton Valley Funeral Chapel on Saturday October 25, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Westhaver officiating with cremation following the service.

L.T. "Bud" Haverstock
HAVERSTOCK, L.T. "Bud" - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on January 30, 2017 at the Lamont Hospital. Bud was born in Oakshela, SK on May 2, 1930. Bud is survived by his wife, Dorothea; his sons, Derek Jay (Clair Miller) and Darren Kim (Nancy Ward); his daughter, Dorothea Élan (Steve Malesku); sister, Lillian Temple of Regina, SK; seven grandchildren, Brett, Craig, Stuart, James, Gwen, Eliza and Reese Haverstock. Bud and Dorothy met in a church choir in North Battleford, SK and were married on August 2, 1956. They moved to Lamont, AB on October 1, 1958 where Bud subsequently became Lamont’s longest serving and practicing pharmacist both within the Lamont Health Care facility and as the owner of the local Rexall Drugstore, retiring in 1986. Bud had a great passion for dogs, and travelled the world as one of a few pioneering, internationally certified Canadian dog show judges. He served as the Alberta director of the Canadian Kennel Club for 25 years, and was highly respected throughout the dog community in Canada and globally for his commitment and contributions to the dog community, especially towards the development of the Canadian dog show-judging program. Bud loved to sing, and was a treasured member of many choirs, with his wife, including the Pioneer Singers of Fort Saskatchewan. Bud will be remembered as a true gentleman. His generosity, kindness and wonderful ability to put people at ease will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Elizabeth Grace Rowe, of Calgary
Elizabeth Grace Rowe, better known as "Bessie" passed away on June 30, 2004 at the Southwood Nursing Home in Calgary at the age of 94 years.
Bessie was born March 20, 1910 at her parents’ homestead farm home, 21 miles southwest of Youngstown. Her parents, Tom and Grace Rowe were among the very first to homestead in the Stoppington P.O. area in 1909 and Bessie was the first baby born in that area. She attended Creslow School. Bessie was a true pioneer as she lived and worked hard on the farm for over 42 years enduring many hardships. After the farm sale in 1952, she moved to Calgary where she purchased a house that she enjoyed, as well as her garden, flowers, family and many friends. Her services at doing housework for other people were in great demand. Her family was always important to her. Later on, she also enjoyed reading history books, doing some handicrafts and having tea with friends. Bessie attended the Riverside United Church. In 1998 she became a resident of the Southwood Nursing Home.
Bessie is survived by one son, Lorne (Margaret) of Hanna; one granddaughter, Anne (Randy) of Edmonton; four grandsons, John of Spruce Grove, Richard (Linda) of Trochu, Leonard (Cheryl) of Calgary, and George (Julia) of Fort McMurray; two great grandsons, Trevor and Jeff Karren both of Calgary and two great granddaughters, Karyn and Megan Rowe of Fort McMurray.
Bessie was predeceased by her mother in 1919, her father in 1948 and her only brother Ernest in August, 2003.
A Funeral Service was held at the Youngstown United Church on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm, with burial in Youngstown Cemetery. Donations in Bessie’s memory may be made to the Youngstown Cemetery, or to a charity of choice.
