Bertha Rosalle Faechner passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Monday, April 10, 2006 at the age of 94. She is survived by her sister Edna Bye; brother Harvey (Iris) Faechner. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers Dan, William, Herb; brother-in-law Calvin; sisters-in-law Lily and Margaret. Raised on a farm close to Hand Hills and went to school at Rocky Hill School. She worked at Hanna Hospital and Calgary General Hospital until her retirement in Calgary in 1976. She moved to Harrin House in 1990 and enjoyed it very much and had a lot of friends. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.

Court, Bloyce Allan
On April 26th, 2015, Mr. Bloyce Allan Court of Edson, Alberta passed away at the age of 79 years.
He is survived by his companion Jeannie of Edson, Alberta and his daughters: Peggy (Ken) Court of Edson, Alberta, Maureen (Ted) Zielke of Blairmore, Alberta and their children Candace (Issac), Randy (Terri) all of Red Deer, Alberta, Cory (Christine) and Zachary all of Edmonton, Alberta; Shelley (Shayne) Whitnack and children Ashley (Lawrence), Devin, Danyka, Dustin, Dawson and Avery all of Edson, Alberta, Minnie’s husband Bert Jager and their children Megan (Jeremy) all of Blairmore, Alberta, Jennifer of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Kristopher (Emelia) of Okotoks, Alberta
Also surviving is his brother Evan (Roberta) Court and their son Dale along with granddaughter Nicole of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
There are numerous great grandchildren, relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Bloyce was predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 2007 and his daughter Mary Lynn Jager in 2013 as well as his parents Herbert and Elizabeth Court and his brother Beverly in infancy.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Edson United Church, Edson, Alberta with Rev. Kimberly Roy officiating.
Interment of cremated remains followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu other tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to The Edson United Church Building Fund, 1214 Edson, Drive, Edson, Alberta, T7E 1H6 for repairs to the roof or Parkland Lodge, 4619 - 9th Ave., Edson, Alberta, T7E 1R7 in memory of Bloyce Allan Court.
John Hunter Smith
SMITH, John Hunter - (May 6, 1925 - September 25, 2017) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Hunter Smith on September 25, 2017 at Rivercrest Care Centre, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta at the age of 92 years. John will be lovingly remembered by Adelaide (Adele), his wife of 68 years; Children: Sharon, Sheldon (Cathy), Brenda, Kerry (Lori); and daughter-in-law’s Gis, and Carmen; Grandchildren: Jason (Danielle), Shawn, Jacqueline, Derek (Pam), Rob (Kacey), Brad (Andrea), Shane (Brandi), Kelly (Scott), Jessica (Matthew), Mitchell. Great-grandchildren: Cole, Payton, Gracie, Isabelle, Caleb, Noah, Sloan, Skyla, Jadyn, Taylor, Kamryn, Calvin, Kiersa, Shaylyn, Daniel, Makenna, Cohen. John is also survived by his sister-in-law’s Jenny, Lenore, Joan, Beatrice, Joan; and brother-in-law’s Ivan, Lorne, Roy; plus numerous nieces and nephews and their families. John is predeceased by his sons Leslie, Darrell, and granddaughter Kristy; and many dear family & friends. Walters, John
On October 17, 2003 Mr. John Walters of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 60 years.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife Linda; one son, Darcy; two daughters, Cindy and Rick Jonzon; and Debbie Walters all of Drayton Valley; two grandchildren Bradden and Stephanie; one brother, James and Audrey Walters of Pendryl; four sisters, Violet Leslie of Wetaskiwin, Ivy Maciborsky, Jenny Westlund, Mary and Rodney Glasel all of Drayton Valley; step-mother-in-law Mrs Patricia Holm; two sisters-in-law Elnora and Garry Capaniuk of Drayton Valley; Sylvia and John Videsjorden of Wabamun; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. John Walters was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Norman & Bill and baby sister, Louise.
Funeral services were held in the Buck Lake Community hall, Buck Lake on Tuesday October 21, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Bursey officiating and interment in the Maywood Community Cemetery.

Lauretta Peacock, of Delia
April 15, 1907- February 15, 2005
With great suddenness we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Lauretta Peacock in Medicine Hat, Alberta on February 15, 2005 at the age of 97.
Lauretta was predeceased by her mother and father, Della and Ernest Peacock, her Aunt Alice Hayes, her brother-in-law Clarence Wilson, her sister and brother-in-law Frances and Lawrence Morton, and her nephew Harold Wilson.
She will be greatly missed by her loving sister, Gladys Wilson and her nephew Frank (Eunice) Wilson, her nieces Darlene (Chuck) Schmaltz, Barbara (Leo) Pagé, Brenda Thomas, Laverne Foran, Anita (Rob) Tetz, nephews Merle (Irene)Morton, Larry Morton, Murray (Diane) Morton, plus numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held on February 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the Delia United Church with Reverend Travis Cannaday officiating. A private family burial was held at the Delia Cemetery. A time of fellowship was held in the Delia Community Hall
