On March 5th, 2016 our beloved mother Jean Chiesa passed away at the age of 87 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving daughters: Robin Youell of Edmonton, Alberta, Donna (Brian) Pillage and Dianne Chiesa of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Laura (Gord) Linnell of Calgary, Chris Youell of Edmonton, Alberta, Lonny (Amy) Pillage of Edson, Alberta and Danny (Maranda) Pillage of Edson, Alberta, as well as great grandchildren Max Linnell, Dowling Linnell and Drew Pillage.
There are numerous other relative and a host of friends left to mourn.
Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Nino in 2010, her parents Greta and Alexander McKay, son in law Jim Youell, brother Don McKay and sister Irene Morgan.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, Alberta with Father Varghese Munduvelil officiating.
Interment of cremated remains followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be made to Edson Community Care Foundation PO Box 6300, T7E 1T7 in memory of Jean Chiesa.
HERBERT, JOHNSTON, Desiere Maye
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Desiere Maye on March 4th, 2016 at the tender age of 14 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her parents Leeann Herbert and Brad Johnston of Edson, Alberta
Also surviving is her brother Skyler Wilson of Edmonton, and her sister Maddison Procter of Edson, Alberta.
Desiere is also survived by her maternal grandparents Debra Shields of Edson, Alberta, Brian and Denise Herbert of Ponoka, Alberta, Bob Johnston of Edson, Alberta and Giselle Delorme of Red Deer, Alberta.
There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends left to mourn.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Edson Recreation Complex in the Weyerhaeuser Room.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to the Stollery Children’ s Hospital Foundation, 800 College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2C8 in memory Desiere Maye Herbert Johnston.
Jeanie Maria Muir, of Drayton Valley
On Tuesday July 29, 2003 Mrs. Jeanie Muir of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 84 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her loving family; sons Robert (Lynne) of Chetwyn, BC, Andy (Margie) of Red Deer, John (Nita) of Drayton Valley, Lyle (Virginia) of Drayton Valley; daughters Roselea (Willard) Desjarlais of Drayton Valley, Elizabeth Muir of Red Deer, Alberta (Merrill) Hodge of Drayton Valley, and Sarah Johnston of Edmonton; 27 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; sister Una (Elmer) Freund of Drayton Valley.
Jeanie was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert, 1 sister, 3 brothers, daughter Lucy, son Albert, and granddaughter Cheryl.
Funeral Services were held on Friday August 1, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the Drayton Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Mr. Tim Rosadiuk officiating. Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery.

PACKER, Norman - March 1, 1915 - April 8, 2006 - Survived by his wife of 65 years Rae, children; Don (Lise), Gary (Gail), four grandchildren, one sister Vern Else, as well as many relatives and dear friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Judy. LISTER, Jack On June 24th, 2016, Jack Lister, beloved husband of Gail passed away in Jasper at the age of 83 years.
Besides his loving wife Gail of 62 years, Jack is survived by his children: daughters Susan Nelson of Jasper, Alberta and Patricia Lister of Canmore, Alberta and his son, Kelly (Shannon) Lister of Holland Landing, Ontario.
Jack is also survived by his grandchildren Amber Nelson (Travis), Brendan Auger, both of Jasper, Alberta, Megan Zinck (Daniel) Of Calgary, Alberta, Jack and Nathan Lister of Holland Landing, Ontario and his great granddaughter Ella Watkin of Jasper, Alberta.
Also surviving is his sister Beverly (Bill) Donaldson and family of The Pas, Manitoba.
There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn as well.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, James and Anne Lister as well as his grandson Darren Nelson, son in law Larry Nelson and siblings Earl Lister and Francis Dion.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary and St. George Anglican Church in Jasper, Alberta with Rev. David Prowse officiating.
Interment followed in the Jasper Park Cemetery.
The family suggests donations be directed to The Alberta Lung Association, PO Box 4500, Station South. Edmonton, Alberta, T6A 6K2 or floral tributes if so desired sent in Jack’s honor.
