On March 6th, 2016, Walter Kozak of Edson, Albert passed away at the age of 84 years.
Walter is survived by his son Kevin Kozak of Edson, Alberta, his siblings: George Kozak and family of Castlegar, British Columbia and Olga Crylick and family of Edmonton, Alberta.
There are numerous other relative and many friends left to mourn.
Walter was predeceased by his parents and nine siblings.
At his request cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired can be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Walter Kozak.

Vernon Sollid of Edmonton passed away on June 1, 2009 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife Fay; 2 sons Vernon Jr. (Brenda) and Bob; 5 daughters Cheryl (Fred) Siwak, Elaine (Colin) Campbell, Brenda (Bill) Turner, Christine and Tracy (Dan Roy); 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers and 8 sisters.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2009 at Weber's Mount Pleasant Chapel in Camrose, Alberta. Interment has taken place at the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.

OBERKIRSCH, Marie - On April 9, 2006, Mrs. Marie Oberkirsch of Edmonton passed away at the age of 91 years. Marie is survived by her loving family; one son and three daughters, John, Carmen D'Souza, Susan (Walter) Supruniuk and Christine (Alvin) Drews; eight grandchildren, Victor, Sheila, David, Stanley, Nicholas, Carmelina, Duane and Brenda and ten great-grandchildren. Barbara C. Jopson, of Abbotsford
Barbara C. Jopson passed away on Monday, July 7th, 2003 at her residence in Abbotsford, B.C. at the age of 79 years.
Predeceased by her husband John, her mother Edith and father Wendell, Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her sons John and David (Ruth) and daughter Linda; her grandchildren, Sarah (Chris), Rachel, Camille (Thaddian), James (Lyzet), Michael and Dylan. She also leaves her brother Clayton (Charlotte) Purdy, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 31165 Gardner Ave. in Abbotsford.

Jennie E.M. Davis, of Drayton Valley
On April 27, 2003 Jennie Davis of Shangri-La Lodge passed away at the Drayton Valley Hospital at 91 years of age. She lived a long, good and healthy life.
She was predeceased by one son Robert, and her husband Edgar.
She is survived by 3 sons; Don, Andy and Vernon Davis and daughter Marion Beck and their families; a sister Grace Mayer, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held May 10 at the Cynthia Hall at 2:00 PM.
Robert Owen, of Hanna
It is with heavy hearts that the Owen family announces the untimely and sudden passing of Robert James Owen on February 19, 2005, at the age of 40 years.
Robert was born on August 25, 1964 in Hanna, the son of Raymond and Marcy Owen. He grew up on a farm near Roselynn and in 1982, moved with his family to Hanna. After graduating from J.C. Charyk High School, he pursued his lifelong dream of raising cattle. Robert loved his Longhorn cattle and was very respected in the cattle industry.
Robert will be sadly missed by his parents Raymond and Marcy; his brother Doug and Janice Owen of Hanna and their children Jarret, Aimee and Raina; and his two sisters Kathy and Duane Christensen of Drumheller and their daughter Alicia, and Connie and Mark Hoffart of Lethbridge and their son Matthew. He will also be fondly remembered by his very special second family - Roy and Harriet Griffith, Wade and Lorna Williams (Chuck, Cody and Clayton), David and Shirley Hickle, Dave and Sheila Boehlke, Daren and Connie Balazic, Bruce and Kathy Griffith, Brian and Colleen Griffith and their families. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his grandparents, several uncles and aunts, his close friend Gene Griffith, and his dog “Tiger”.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the SPCA.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hanna Community Centre, with Reverend Doctor Clarence Sellars officiating.
