On Sunday, January 27, 2002 Kurt Edward Rollison of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 35 years.
Kurt will be missed by his parents, Drinda and Marvin Rollison of Bonnyville, AB, paternal grandmother Margaret Rollison of Grand Centre, maternal uncle Tom (Dora) Love of Edmonton, paternal aunts and uncles, Vera Turner of Calgary, Eddie (Leona) Rollison of Prince George, BC, Lyle Rollison of Calgary, AB, and Ladele (Blake) Minife of Kamloops, BC, first cousins Jason, Jill, Bev, Leslie, Ross, Rod, Gary, Brent, Terri, Carla, Cameron, and Sherri, and numerous other relatives and friends. Kurt was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Vella and Stanley Love, paternal grandfather Carl Rollison and paternal aunt Linda Penner.
A service of remembrance was held on Thursday, January 31, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel in Bonnyville with Father Al MacClennan officiating.

USHKO, Michael Allen Joseph
On Friday, January 25, 2002 Michael Allen Joseph Ushko of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 11 years.
Michael is survived by his loving parents: Lina and Larry Ushko; three big brothers: Christopher, Terrence and Nicholas; three grandparents: Charles and Rita Gaudet of Plamondon, AB, Mary Ushko of Barrhead, AB; aunts and uncles: Daniel and Cindy Ushko of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Brian Ushko of Sylvan Lake, AB, Wendy and Ray Johnson of Fort McMurray, AB, Yvette and Al Burry of Fort McMurray, AB, Normand Gaudet of Calgary, AB, Omer and Nancy Gaudet of Sherwood Park, AB; as well as numerous cousins and other relatives. Michael was predeceased by his uncle: Bertrand Blair Gaudet; grandpa: Edward Ushko; great grandmother: Hilda Bosse; great grandparents: Albert and Odila Gaudet.

Burton, Mary Kathleen (Kay)
On Friday, July 19, 2002, Mrs Mary (Kay) Kathleen Burton of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 years. Kay is survived by her son: Richard (Barbara) Burton of Peoria, Arizona; daughter: Carla Farrer of Bonnyville, Alberta; two grandchildren: Camille (Jeff) Jensen of Memphis, Tennessee and Rachelle Burton of Detroit, Michigan; two great-grandchildren: Cassaundra Jensen of Memphis, Tennessee and Mitchell Jensen of Memphis, Tennessee; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives. Kay was predeceased by her husband: Frederick in 1984; brother: Robert Fowler in 1984 and sister-in-law: Jean Fowler. In following Kay’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with an open house being held at her daughter Carla’s house 4810 - 47th Ave., Bonnyville, Alberta on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kay’s family would like to express their appreciation to both residents and staff of the Bonnylodge and Bonnyville Long Term Care Unit during their mother’s stay. Damberger, Florence Elizabeth
Peacefully, death closed the last chapter in the life of Florence on Monday, July 22, 2002 at the Bonnyville Health Centre, Bonnyville, AB.
Florence was born at Bawlf, AB on April 26, 1909. She married John Damberger on September 4, 1927. To this union six children were born. She leaves to mourn her passing: Evelyn Reiter of Bonnyville, AB, Clifford (Mary) Damberger of Taber, AB, Theresa (Lucien) Marsolais of Prince George, BC, Norma (John) Bolokoski of Spruce Grove, AB, daughter-in-law: Doris Damberger of Pincher Creek, AB, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren; brother: Elmer Lotzer of Bawlf, AB; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Florence was predeceased by her husband: John in 1980; infant son: Walter; son: Harvey; son-in-law: Adam; granddaughter: Sylvia; infant great-grandchildren: Laurelle and Allan J; four brothers and one sister.

On Saturday, July 20, 2002 Jenna Lee Megan Fox of Bonnyville, AB passed away at the age of 16 years. Jenna is survived by her loving parents: Bruce and Nanette of Bonnyville, AB; two brothers: Jeff (Angela) of Bonnyville, AB, Jordan of Bonnyville, AB; sister; Jodi Fox of Bonnyville, AB; two grandmothers: Evelyn Fox of Glendon, AB and Margaret Sabourin of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. In her short life Jenna was predeceased by her grandfathers: Roger Fox and Rod Sabourin.

Donald is survived by his loving wife: Isabelle of Bonnyville, AB; two sons: Robert (Sharon) Heigh of Cold Lake, AB, Gary (Irene) Heigh of Ardmore, AB; two daughters: Betty (Grant) Duckett of Cold Lake, AB, Maureen (Gustavo) Vallee of Rocky Mountain House, AB; two sisters: Laura Skarsen of Bonnyville, AB, Marjorie Vigue of Superior, Montana; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. GELETY, NICK
After one long year of battling cancer, Nick passed away at the age of 58 years. Nick was born in Mannville, AB and moved to Bonnyville with his parents at the age of 3 years. Nick spent most of his adult years working for the N.A.D. Pool in various towns and permantly settling in Barrhead.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Diana of Barrhead, two daughters, Gail (Ken) Hove of Barrhead and Janice (Dean) Cameron of Rimbey, AB, four grandchildren, Matthew and Stephanie Hove, Tanner and Megan Cameron.
One sister, Anne (Ben) Hilgartner of Camrose, three brothers, Alex (Norma), Raymond, and Ken (Helen) all of Bonnyville, also numerous nieces and nephews. Also, mother-in-law, Rose Chymoc of Edmonton and brother-in-law, Art (Angie) Chymoc.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Kate Gelety; materal and paternal grandparents and one uncle; father-in-law, William Chymoc.

SCOTT, Edward Lorne
On Tuesday, January 28, 2003 Edward Lorne Scott of Glendon, AB (locally known as ‘Scott the Mover’) passed away in Bonnyville at the age of 62 years. Edward is lovingly survived by his wife Ann, nine children, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Kent Community Hall, Fort Kent, AB. Donations in memory of Edward may be made to Palliative Care Program, Bonnyville Health Centre, PO Box 1008, Bonnyville, AB T9N 2J7.

Katie is lovingly survived by four sons: Henry (Maureen) of Mississauga, ON, Leslie (Nida) of Peterborough, ON, Ken (Diane) of Mississauga, ON, Laurence (Marilyn) of Mississauga, ON; daughter: Maureen (Victor) Andriachuk of Bonnyville, AB; brother: Nick (Mary) Kreklywich of Maple Ridge, BC; ten grandchildren: Trevor, Marvin, Greg, Denise, Bonnie, Dale, Kevin, Rodney, Derek, Carrie; eleven great-grandchildren: Tyler, Grant, Jasper, Danielle, Evan, Ayden, Corrigan, Ashton, Ethan, Benjamin, Madeline; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Katie was predeceased by her husband William in 1995; brother: John Kreklywich and sister: Mary Michalyk.
