On Saturday, January 25th, 2003 Marie Durocher passed at the age of 51 years.
Marie will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her family: sons, Wayne (Kathy), Trevor and Rodney, by her precious grandchildren, Chase, Tristen, Logan and Colby.
Marie will also be fondly remembered by her mother Yvonne Kusch; brothers and sisters: Rupert, Raymond (Donna), Francine, Paul (Barb) and Susan (Martin), sisters- in- law: Adeline and Shirley, as well by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Marie was predeceased by her brother Denis, her father Ernest, and brother Victor.
A Mass of Resurrection was Celebrated on Wednesday, January 29th, at 2:30 P.M., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 13 Browser Drive, Sherwood Park.

On Tuesday, April 8, 2003 Mr. John Leonard Wood of Ardmore passed away in Edmonton at the age of 70 years.
John is survived by his wife Marilyn Wood of Ardmore, children, Tim (Faye) Wood of Lloydminster, Margo (Blair) Callaghan of Winnipeg, Trish Wood of Bonnyville, Tracy (Mike) Wood of Cold Lake, Mike (Charlene) Elward of Sherwood Park, Laureen (Dale) Buchner of Sherwood Park, and
Marie (Terry) Feduniak of Cold Lake, the mother of John’s children Doris Faubert, sixteen
grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his sister Jean Peck of Chatham, and numerous relatives and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents Florence and Clarence Wood, son Bob Elward, sister Betty and his brother George.
A visitation was held on Friday, April 11, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s United Church with Reverend Heather Carlson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were John Tourangeau, John MacDonald, Ted Bokota, Stan Boyd, Sam Shuman, and Gordie Barton.
Active pallbearers were Terry Feduniak Jr., Mark Tourangeau, Beau Buchner, Cody Buchner, Brad Wood, and Jamie Wood.

On Sunday, July 6, 2003 Mrs. Maryanna Olszowka of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 96 years.
Mrs. Olszowka is survived by her daughters, Veronica Krawiec of Bonnyville, Lois (Norval) Babb of Winfield, BC, sons, Charlie (Arlene) Olszowka of Ardrossan, and Stan (Phyllis) Olszowka of Valleyview, daughter-in-law Julia Johnson of Bonnyville, 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Olszowka was predeceased by her husband Peter (1977), son Ted (1929), daughter Jenny (1961), son Joe (1976), grandson Kenneth (1987) and son-in-law John Krawiec (1995).
A visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel with Father Dinh Hoanh O.M.I. officiating.
Interment followed at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery, LaCorey, Alberta.
Pallbearers were Peter Krawiec, Marcel Olszowka, Brian Babb, Warren Cooper, Andy Veil, and Joshua Hillman.

On Tuesday, July 15, 2003 Mrs. Anna Szuszkiewicz of Bonnyville passed away at the age of 88 years.
Anna is survived by her children Eva (Michael) Paschenko of Poland, Sofie (Laurent) Genereux of Bonnyville, Jeanine (Merv) Murch of St. Albert, Bernard (Joanne) Szuszkiewicz of St. Paul, John Szuszkiewicz of Calgary, grandchildren Luda, Michelle, Louis, Monique, Susie, Kim, Lori, Melissa, Jennifer, Cathy, Daniel, Cory, and Jeffery, sister Marusha Kowtiw of Ukraine, and brother William (Alice) Koatiw of Poland.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Michael Szuszkiewicz, an infant daughter, her parents Katarzyna and Michael Kostiw, sister Natasha and a brother Anthony.
A Prayer Vigil was held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at Northern Lights Funeral Chapel.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Dinh Hoanh O.M.I. officiating.
Interment followed at the Holy Family Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
Pallbearers were Merv Murch, Stan Cristoffer and Daniel Szuszkiewicz, Adam Lessard and Laurent Genereux.

Lise was predeceased by her father: Laurier Hamel in 1987.

KUEHN, Maurice
On Friday, July 16, 2004, Mr. Maurice Waldo Kuehn of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years.
Maurice is survived by his two daughters: Beryl Watchel of Bellvue, AB, Gloria (James) Kieller of Edmonton, AB; son: Bud (Vickie) of Bonnyville, AB; four grandchildren: Scott Harris, Mitch Harris, Sandy Harris, Sheila Kuehn; three great-grandchildren: Sandra Harris, Madison Vachon and Alyssa Harris; sister: Wilma Sinclair of Vernon, BC and sister-in-law: Ann Kuehn of Vermilion, AB.
Maurice was predeceased by his parents: Albert and Matilda Kuehn and brother: Justus “Todd” Kuehn.
Maurice was born in Lidgerwood, North Dakota.
At a young age his family moved to the Bonnyville area where Maurice lived the rest of his life.
Maurice’s life was farming.
His true happiness came from watching his crops ripen in the field, picking rocks and when time permitted going fishing, hunting and camping.
A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB with Pastor Gary Mason officiating.
Interment followed in the Duclos Cemetery, Ardmore, AB.
Honorary pallbearers were: Edward and Irene Dlugos.
