DUNNE, Reginald Michael December 24, 1916 - March 03, 2000 On March 3, 2000, Mr. Reginald Michael Dunne of Edmonton, formerly of Victoria, passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss, two daughters, Patricia Anne Berry and Maureen Vilma Wallis of Edmonton; two grandsons, Colin David and his wife Lizyanet Berry, Cameron Michael and his wife, Shawna Berry of Edmonton; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel Berry and Lucas Berry. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Foster & McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10008-103 Street. Pastor Doug Meyers will officiate and interment will take place in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. EL-FARZALI, Moussa On March 3, 2000, Moussa El-Farzali, of Edmonton, passed away at the age of 95 years. Moussa was born in Lebanon and came to Canada in 1992. He is survived by four sons; three daughters; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah in December of 1999. Prayer Service to be held on Sunday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Howard & McBride Westlawn, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. ELSENHEIMER, Clifford William Cliff Elsenheimer, resident of the Nampa area, passed away in Peace River on March 2, 2000 at the age of 56 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; children, Brad (Tanya) of Grande Prairie, Susan (Richard) Chenard of Morinville; three grandchildren, Chantel, Emily and Megan; brothers, Gordon (Maxine) of Stony Plain, Bob (Lynda) of Edmonton; sister, Linda (David) George of Spruce Grove; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Helen. Funeral Services will be held from Nampa Gospel Fellowship in Nampa, Alberta on Monday, March 6, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Doug Engel officiating. Cremation to follow. FACCHIN, Vittorio Born on April 3, 1929, passed away on February 29, 2000, Vittorio immigrated to Canada in 1951 from Italy. Shortly after his arrival, Vittorio worked for Imperial Oil Refinery as a pipefitter. In his pursuit to bring the flavour of Italy to Canada, Vittorio founded Facchin Foods Company Limited in 1965, makers of Roma brand pasta. Facchin Foods was built into a prosperous and flourishing business which was purchased by Primo Foods Limited in 1987. In 1996, his son, Carlo re-acquired the business from Primo and today, Vittorio's passion for pasta lives on. Vittorio is survived by his loving children, Carlo (Belinda) Facchin, Annalisa (Doug) Baer; and their mother, Maria; grandchildren, Amanda, Rachael, Monica, Michelle, Giulia, all of Edmonton. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Giovanna, Sr. Bernardina, brother, Rino; and numerous nieces and nephews in Italy; brother, Giovanni of Whitehorse and numerous cousins in Canada; and his friend, Danuta. Vittorio was predeceased by his brother, Carlo in 1950. Prayers Sunday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. GATES, Irene May On March 2, 2000 after a lengthy illness, May passed away peacefully at her daughter's home at age 77. She is survived by her son, Mark and Margaret Gates and daughter, Tina and George Ronaghan. She also leaves six loving grandchildren, Tony, Andrew, Donna, Sarah, Aaron and Jeffery; three special great-grandchildren, Tyler, Mason and Liam. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur in 1983. According to her request there will be no formal service. HALE, Janetta Harvey Janetta (Nettie) Harvey Hale passed away at the Seton General Hospital in Jasper, Alberta on Sunday, February 27, 2000. Nettie was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on January 23, 1911 and immigrated to Canada with her parents at an early age. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Marion Rose Cross; her only brother, James and her husband, Joseph George Hale (April 28, 1967). Nettie was also predeceased by her friend and companion, Alex Yule. She is survived by her daughter, Corinne Sharon Maloney; son-in-law, Frank; and two grandsons, Mark and Darren. Nettie lived most of her adult life in Jasper. She was a retired Federal Civil servant. Nettie had many friends and was actively involved in many community activities over the years, including the Royal Canadian Legion and the Royal Purple Lodge. A Memorial Service will be held in the Jasper United Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2000, followed by luncheon at the Jasper Branch of Royal Canadian Legion. LEONARD, Vic On March 1, 2000 Jean Joseph Victor Leonard of Edmonton passed away at the age of 94 years. He is survived by five sons, Ray (Dodie), Gerry (Marge) all of Edmonton, Dennie (Claire) of Hawaii, Leo (Marie) of Red Deer and Bob (Elaine) of Summerland, B.C. and one daughter, Joan (Bert) Surman of Edmonton; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He also leaves one brother, Maurice (Kay) and one sister, Bettie Montgomery and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine in 1995; two brothers, Henry and Paul and two sisters, Marie and Gerry. The Prayer Vigil will be held on Monday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 7. 2000 at 1:00 p.m. both at St. Angela Catholic Church (13210-133A Avenue) Reverend Martin Mosser OMI presider. MACDONALD, Gordon Brian Gordon Brian Macdonald passed away in Edmonton, February 16, 2000 at the age of 46 years. He leaves behind his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenna and Kenneth Lambert of Calgary, Daryl and Wilfred Kozub of Edmonton; two nieces, Sheena Lambert and Zoe Kozub; and one nephew, Nikolos Kozub. Gordon will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Gordon Reid Macdonald and his mother, Dorothy Eleanor Macdonald.
