SENZ - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Senz, dear husband of Lucy; five children, Gordon (Sherryl), John, Richard, Hedy (Dan) and Tony; and grandchildren, Santon, Sancia, and Shaina. Peter's brief illness with cancer ended his life on June 14, 2001 at the age of 71. Peter will be remembered for his honesty, strong spirituality, kindness, great smile and sincere giving of his time to his family and friends. Peter's passion was his Macintosh computer. Over the past fifteen years, Peter offered his time to many people who relied on his expertise. All who knew him, appreciated his positive outlook, and great sense of humor. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Rosedale Hospice. In recognition of the comfort and care given to Peter, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Rosedale Hospice, 920 - 7A Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2M 3J3.

HARTY - ANDREW "Andy". On February 15, 2001, Mr. Andrew Harty of Spruce Grove, Alberta, formerly of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away at the age of 83 years. Andy leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years Reta, eight children: Joe (Janet) Charbonneau of Edmonton, Marge (Don) Goudy of Spruce Grove, Wayne (Wendy) of Regina, Lee (Darlene) of Regina, Andrea (Leonard) Gartner of Regina, Cyril (Cindy) of Regina, John of Regina and Clinton (Norrine) of Winnipeg Manitoba, twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Andy is survived by his brothers and sisters: Jean Abello, Rita (Bill) Fluter, Paul (Rose), Adam (Flo), Leah (Fred) Gussel, Al, Ted (Shirley), Tony (Hilda), Bert (Marion), Leonard (Phyllis). Andy was predeceased by one grandson Quinton, two granddaughters Theresa and Amy, and one daughter-in-law Wendy. Andy lived in Regina and worked for Carlin-O'Keefe Breweries for 28 years. After a stroke in 1992, they moved to Spruce Grove. TRUMAN - Cyril late of Wainwright, Alberta passed away on August 11, 2002 at the age of 92 while under local medical care and the care of family. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, Lorna, and their three children and their families: Trevor (Sharon) of White City, Sask.; Trenna (Mike) Griffith of Hanford California; and Terrill (Deb) of Wainwright, Alberta. Grandchildren: Troy (Tonya) Truman of Charlo, Montana, Trista (David) Triska of Copper Sands, Sask.; Trenton & Trellyn Truman of White City, Sask.; Meagan, Devin, Breanne, & Lindsey Griffith of Hanford, California; Tyson Truman of Calgary, Alberta; Logan & Chelan Truman of Wainwright, Alberta. Greatgrandchildren: Telesa, Teaira & Taylan Truman, Caleb & Colby Triska. He is also survived by his sisters Olive Steed of Calgary, Alberta; Ivy Steed of Peace River, Alberta; Vera Maxwell of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta; Violet Vennett of Toronto, Ontario; Ruby (Kurl) Hefren of Toronto, Ontario. And brothers Richard and Victor of Toronto, Ontario as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Left to mourn is his wife Rhoda, his children Gail (John Witherspoon), Grant; step-son Lindsay Reid (Stacey), his grandchildren who gave him so much joy, Michael (Lynette) Heather, Kyle, Becky and his newest joy great-granddaughter Chloe and 3 sisters Lena, Olive and Margaret, numerous relatives & friends. GROSSE - BRADLEY JOHN GEORGE Bradley John George Grosse suddenly passed from this life to the next in Edson, Alberta on December 13, 2007. Brad was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 12, 1959. Brad leaves behind a grieving daughter, Tanya Grosse of Victoria, British Columbia; an older brother Mark (Betty) Grosse of Regina, Saskatchewan and their three children Hiedi, Cara and Matthew; two sisters Angel (Dean) Romano of Cranbrook, British Columbia and their children Adam, Shannon and Benjamin; also sister, Cindy Haines of Regina, Saskatchewan and her three children Lyle, Dustin, and Nicholas; and a younger brother John Henry Grosse of Fillmore, Saskatchewan. Brad is predeceased by his father Frederick Rudolph Ernest Grosse, and his mother Elsie Hazel Grosse. Brad began his adult life proudly serving his country with the Royal Canadian Navy and was posted aboard the HMCS Terra Nova. Brad loved to sail the oceans and enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world during his service. Brad later settled in Massett, British Columbia where he practiced and instructed wilderness survival, enjoyed hunting and fishing and he became an award winning marksman. The last two years of his life, Brad found himself living and working for the town of Edson, Alberta. A celebration of Brad's life was held on Wednesday December 19th, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Foothills Memorial Chapel in Edson, Alberta with Mark Grosse leading the service. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. SWINTON - DORIS EUPHEMIA, Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Montmartre andRegina, Saskatchewan passed away suddenly on Friday, December 13th, 2002 at the age of 78 years. Doris was born on thefamily farm, E 1/4-32-13-11-W.2 in the Alpha School District on April 29th, 1924. Shecompleted her high school in Montmartre and a business course in Winnipeg. Following employment in Wilcox, Yorkton andRegina, she moved to Calgary in 1951. She worked for Shell Resources Canada for 30 years when she retired. Predeceased by her father, Russell (1955), mother, Nana (1981), brothers and sister-in-law, Gordon (1984); Ross and Gwen (1996). Doris issurvived by her brother Earle (Anne)Swinton of Regina, and sister-in-law Brenda Swinton, Richmond, B.C. GILLERT - Cecil Walter passed away on March 31 at home in Red Deer at the age of 61 years. He is survived by three children: Ken (Janet) and their children: Christopher and Ashley of Red Deer; Greg of Red Deer; Anita (Bryce) Barnhart of Tampa, Florida, 2 brothers: Andrew of Toronto, Doug of Regina. Predeceased by wife Eleanor (2001) of Red Deer; parents: Herman and Alice Gillert of McLean, brother Christopher of McLean. Cecil was raised in the McLean district in the early years of his marriage his work took him to Red Deer where they raised their family. Cecil was proud of his work as a (cat) operator and his skill in the demolition of many prairie grain elevators. Funeral Service April 15th, 1pm. Eventide Funeral Chapel, Red Deer.
