REDIGER -- Mrs. Pauline Rediger passed away at the Foothills Hospital on January 31, 1998 at the age of 78 years. A devoted mother and grandmother, Pauline will be keenly missed by her children, Eleanor, Emerson (Karen), Gladys (Gary) Severson and Donna; and by her much loved grandchildren, David, Vincent, Angela, Jason and Christopher. She is also survived by her brother John Slusarchuk; and sisters Phyllis Westfall and Agnes Schultz, who are Saskatchewan residents. Born in the Ukraine, Pauline immigrated to Canada as a young child and homesteaded with her family in Central Saskatchewan. She and her late husband Dave were successful Saskatchewan farmers for more than forty years. Since moving to Calgary six years ago, she made many new friends especially in her seniors' complex. Many have been treated to her fine Ukrainian cookery. A Celebration of her Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Fish Creek Chapel", (14441 Bannister Road S.E.), on Thursday, February 5, 1998 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Glasgow, Chaplain of Rockyview Hospital officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 - 124 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5M 0H9, the Canadian Diabetes Association, 114, 1212 - 1 Street S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2G 0G8 or to a charity of the donor's choice. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care Unit at the Foothills Hospital for their sensitive care of our mother. ROBERTSON -- Marian Gertrude Robertson of Yucaipa, California, passed away peacefully February 1, 1998 in Calgary, at the age of 96. Born in Montpelier, Ohio on July 3, 1901, her family settled in California when she was two. She loved California and was a proud American. She was predeceased by Bill, her husband of fifty years in 1975. Marian is survived by her only child Jim and his wife Shirley; two granddaughters, Kathy Bury and her husband Greg of Canmore, Karen and her partner Murray Fulton; and one great-grandson Braden Bury. Friends are invited to join us at home on Wednesday, February 4, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. to share memories of the good times we all had together over the years. A Memorial Service and Interment will be held at a later date in California. We're all going to miss him a lot. SIMPSON -- Florence May (Florrie) Simpson, passed away at the Brentwood Care Centre on January 31, 1998 at the age of 91 years. Florrie is the beloved mother of Robert (Bella) Gilbert and Sidney (Shirley) Gilbert. She is also survived by two sisters, Rose and Gladys of Calgary; as well as ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Florrie spent most of her adult years in Calgary and was fond of oil painting and music. She will be greatly missed. SOMMERFELD -- Gustav Sommerfeld went to be with the Lord His Saviour on January 31, 1998 at the Bethany Care Centre at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn are his sons, Arnold (Gerda), Ewald (Hilda); and daughter Melitta (Arnold) Frank. Also survived are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., on Tuesday, February 3, 1998 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at The German Church of God, 637 - 17 Avenue N.E. on Wednesday, February 4, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. STEELE -- Helen L., aged 68, passed away January 27, 1998 in Rancho Bernardo, California, after a long and courageous struggle with cancer. Born in Lamont, Alberta, Helen grew up and was educated in Edmonton where she met her husband Russell, and where they were married in 1952. The couple travelled Canada and the United States while raising their four children. Helen pursued a career in Real Estate when they settled in San Diego in 1987, and enjoyed golfing during her retirement. Helen is survived by her loving husband Russell; her son Jim (Judi) Steele, daughter Barbara (Gerry) Brookwell, daughter Mary Malcolm, son Keith Steele; her sister Joan (Jim) McIntyre; and her nine grandchildren, Dan, Mike, Nicole, Susanne, Mason, Clayton, Lane, Jaimie and Christiana. Her kindness and great strength will not be forgotten. Mom, with precious memories, you will always be with us. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Neptune Society, San Diego. A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held Saturday, February 7, at 2:00 p.m.

STEWART -- Shaun Scott Stewart, of Okotoks, passed away on February 1, 1998 at the age of 19 years. Shaun is survived by his loving parents, Al and Gloria; two brothers, Sandy and Spencer; and nephew Sheldon, all of Okotoks. Shaun graduated with honors from Holy Trinity Academy in 1996. STORDY -- Mr. Lyman Morris (Spud) Stordy beloved husband of Mrs. Anne Stordy of Calgary, was called Home to the Angels on January 31, 1998 at the age of 80 years. Spud is lovingly remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Besides his loving wife, Spud is survived by a son Dennis of Calgary; and a daughter Marilyn Bowie and her husband Kevin Collins of Langley, British Columbia; three grandchildren, Shanda, Sean and Troy; brother John L. Stordy, his wife Mary and family of Moncton, New Brunswick; and his sister Kathleen, her husband Syd Fulton and family of Edmonton. TIDSBURY -- Terri-Jo, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on February 1, 1998 at the age of 33 years after a courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. She is the beloved daughter of Ken and Dani; sister to Brenda and Scott; and dedicated aunt to Jordan and Tait. She is also survived by her grandmother Margaret Tidsbury; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including her very dear and supportive friend, Melvina. Terri-Jo was predeceased by her younger sister Jodi in 1991. Terri-Jo graduated from high school in 1980 and attended Henderson College of Business. She worked as a secretary for a number of years and was very active as a model. She was runner up for Miss Calgary in 1987 and went on to pursue other interests. Terri-Jo was intimately involved with expanding her life's journey through spirituality. She also enjoyed the special times with her niece and nephew. Terri-Jo enjoyed nature and music and loved to read. She inspired the lives of those she touched by her brave and determined spirit. Terri-Jo will be forever remembered for her incredible warmth and compassion. A Celebration of Terri-Jo's life will be held at St. David's United Church, 3303 Capitol Hill Crescent N.W. on Thursday, February 5, 1998 at 1:00 p.m., Rev. John Griffith officiating. TOD -- Margaret Tod passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on Sunday, February 1, 1998 at the age of 77 years. She was closely predeceased by her husband Scott in 1996. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Liz; grandchildren, Ailsa, Jean and Fiona; as well as her sister Elizabeth in St. Leonards, England. She will also be missed by her many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Centennial Presbyterian Church, 103 Pinetown Place N.E. on Thursday, February 5, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Oakes officiating. WHITE -- Beatrice Florence of Langley, B.C., passed away peacefully at Langley on January 26, 1998 at the age of 89 years. Born at Exshaw, Alberta on July 17, 1908 and a resident of Calgary until 1970. Bea was predeceased by her husband Ernest and a stepson Arthur. Survived by four daughters, Irene (Richard) Wood, Joyce Hackett, Margaret Hughes, Lynn Patterson; stepsons, Gordon (Joan) White, Robert (Mabel) White; and lovingly remembered by Stanley (Elsie) Pilkington of Calgary. Funeral Service was held at Surrey, B.C. on January 29, 1998. Rev. Kayy Gordon officiating.

WILLIAMS -- Irene M. (nee Crooks), 62, of Burnaby, B.C., passed away on January 30, 1998 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband John; sons, Ken, Jeff and Greg, their families; and many friends. "We will miss the joy of Irene." No Service or flowers by request.

WILSON -- Mildred Wilson of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 1, 1998, at the age of 82 years. Mildred was born in Morpeth, England, on March 15, 1915, and emigrated to Canada with her parents at the age of four, settling in Calgary. Mildred will be sadly missed by a daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Don Krassman; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Anja Wilson; and four grandchildren, Michele (Cory) Skillen, Sean (Carrie) Krassman, Geoff Wilson, and Brad Wilson; and also two great-granddaughters, Jessica and Kyleigh Skillen. She was predeceased by her husband Allison on May 14, 1989. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 - 15 Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, February 5, 1998, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel J. Stewart officiating. BOXALL -- Edward Boxall, beloved husband of Pat Boxall, of Calgary, passed away January 25, 1998 at the age of 60 years. As well as his wife, he is survived by their children, Linda Boxall (Danny Rostotski), Susan Beaurgard (Steve) and Lisa White (Mike), all of Calgary; five grandchildren, Dustin, Nicholas, Sarah, Haley, and Amy; his sister and brothers, Brenda (Eugene), Ron (Audrey) and Jeff (Myra), all of South Wales; and many other relatives and friends. Edward was born and raised in Wales. In 1976 he, Patricia and their daughters emigrated to Calgary where they have resided since. He has worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic for all his working life. He has been a wonderful husband and father and will be deeply missed. CAMPBELL -- Isabella Dalton (nee Rowan) passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 1998, at the age of 91 years at the Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane. She is survived by five sons and two daughters, Bertha Johnston, Onanole, Manitoba, William (Edythe), Burnaby, B.C., Winnifred Gray, Onanole, Manitoba, Stirling (Joyce), Carman, Manitoba, Kenneth (Lorraine), Calgary, Russell (Adeline), Rocky Mountain House, Glen, Onanole, Manitoba; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1962. Isa was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on March 7, 1906. She came to Rossburn, Manitoba in 1925 and married William Campbell, a widower with four children in 1929. In 1962, they moved to Calgary. CHAKRAVORTY -- Mr. Sailendra Kumar (Chak), Chakravorty beloved husband of Mrs. Thelma Chakravorty of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Saturday, January 24, 1998 after a short illness at the age of 76 years. Chak was born in Mymonsing, Bangladesh in 1922. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Calcutta. He immigrated to the U.S.A. and earned a Petroleum Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and he earned a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Kansas. Chak came to Canada in 1951 and worked for the Department of Mines and Resources in Regina, as well as New Superior Oil, Hudson's Bay Oil and Gas, and Dome Petroleum in Calgary, retiring from Dome in 1985. Chak is a life member of APEGGA, and held memberships at Ashler Lodge No. 28, the A.A.S.R., and the Al Azhar for decades. He did some consulting work for three years after his retirement. Chak enjoyed music of all sorts, particularly classical and opera. Besides his loving wife Thelma, Chak is also survived by a son, two daughters and a son-in-law, Melissa Best, Susan Steinmann and Dean, David and Amanda, all of Calgary; four grandchildren, Ashley Best, Julia Best, Tonianne Steinmann, Eric Steinmann. He is also survived by one brother Dipten and wife Dipti and family, of Calgary. Chak's surviving family in Jamshedpur, India includes two brothers and five sisters. The family wishes to thank the Rockyview Hospital, ICU staff for their wonderful care. Flowers are gratefully declined.
