Hawirko, Phyllis (nee Snaychuk) February 11, 1915 – October 18, 2004 On Monday, October 18, 2004 Mrs. Phyllis Hawirko of Edmonton passed away at the age of 89 years. Phyllis is survived by her loving children Virginia (Fred) Stelzer, Diana (Paul) Shepel, Elsie (Ernie) Klut and David (Dianna) Hawirko, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband John of 55 years, grandson Wade, her 4 brothers Nick, Leo, Walter and Steve Snaychuk and her sister Stella Quinn. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. She leaves to mourn, her loving husband Willie (Bill), her daughter Gail and husband Bill, sons Bob (friend Laura), and Barry, step daughter Pamela Shelast, step son Craig Adkins, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 18 at 2:00 pm at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton with Reverend Peter Schroeder officiating. In accordance with Georgina’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at a later date. Makarowski, Eva Grace (nee Ewers) September 25, 1927 – October 13, 2004 It is with deep sadness that Eva’s family announce her peaceful and sudden passing on October 13, 2004 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Joseph, son Craig, daughters Lani (Peter) Schalin, Laura (Gary) Love, Dawn (Greg) Himer and Dale (Donald) Wilcox and 5 grandchildren Constance, Sara, Rachael, Tiberius and Cole.She is also survived by her two sisters Ailsa and Muriel. Eva graced this earth as a caring and attentive mother and grandmother, encouraging travel, education and love. She shared her enjoyment of gardening and reading with her family. WENTWORTH, ELIZABETH "BETTY" nee MacGregor On Sunday, October 10, 2004 Betty Wentworth passed away at the age of 77 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, James. Her two brothers Robert and William and their families, her sisters June McGregor, Jean (Warren) McLean and Elsie Mottershead. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
