On Monday, September 06, 2004 Mr. Charles Bloom of Edmonton passed away at the age of 75 years. Charles will be sadly missed by his family, sons Edward and Frederick; sister Katherine Voigt; brothers Earl and Emmitt Bloom; two grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Bloom; and two step-children, Robert and Sherry Bloom. On September 11, 2004, Arthur Boje of Spruce Grove, Alberta passed away at the age of 75 years in the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. Art was predeceased by his parents Sigvard and Mary Boje and his brother Jens. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Golden Spike, AB, with Pastor Herb Heinemann officiating. Liz Broad passed away at the age of 61 years on September 12, 2004. She is survived by, father Bill and his wife Anne; two sisters Mary Butlin (Terry), Margaret Hadley; two brothers Bob Broad (Morag) all of Edmonton, George Broad (Debbie) of Hinton; and nieces and nephews Amanda Broad, Rob Hadley, Derek Broad, Katy Broad, Alasdair Broad, Sarah Broad, Andrew Broad, Guy Butlin and very good friend Sonya Moyer and her son Ryan and very many close friends. Liz was predeceased by her mother Louise in 1994. Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, September 17, 2004 at Dayspring Presbyterian Church, 11445 - 40 Avenue, Edmonton. It is with great sadness that Elsie, wife of 59 years, has to announce the passing of James Burn of Spruce Grove, Alberta at 4:42 a.m. on September 13, 2004. DROZDUK, Adele Caroline (nee Grzymek)
1954-2004
On September 11, 2004 Adele Caroline Drozduk of Fernie, B.C. formerly of Edmonton passed away from kidney failure while being comforted by her family. Adele is survived by her daughter Toni; son Marshall; Jim Drozduk, brothers Kane (Barbara), Richard (Lynn). Adele was predeceased by her parents Maria and Konstanty Grzymek. A Memorial Service will be held in Fernie, B.C. on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., interment to follow at St. Margaret's Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Rohn for the concern and attention she had given Adele. They would also like to thank the nurses at the Fernie District Hospital for their care and kindness. Adele will not be forgotten.

February 12, 1930 - May 30, 2002
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our cherished mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Mom passed away peacefully, after a three year daily struggle with life, at the General Continuing Care Center. She is lovingly remembered and will be deeply missed by her children, Patricia, Veronica (Ron), Shirley (Elwin), Judy, Marvin (Wanda) and Earl; nine grandchildren, Dennis, Annette, Kimberly, Christopher, Shannon, Randy, Tricia, Adam and Jenna; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Bridie McGill and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Alexander in 1980; infant son, Allen Joseph in 1951; parents, Patrick and Elizabeth; sister, Ellen; brothers, Daniel, William, Thomas and Paddy. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. T. G. Salopek for his perserverance and compassion, the nursing staff at the University Hospital and the 8Y floor of the General Hospital. The Prayer Service will be held Monday, June 3rd, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 13503 - 40th Street, Edmonton, Alberta. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta. On May 29, 2002 Phyllis passed away at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her four sons, David, Norman, Leslie and Harold, and their families; including numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters and a special canine friend. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2002 at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 8420 - 145 Street at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Alan Naylor officiating. On Tuesday, May 28, 2002 Mrs. Mitchell of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 93 years. She was very special and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving family, sons, Jean (Emilia) Cote, Dominic (Sandy) Cote, Paul (Renate) Cote, Eugene (Maureen) Cote, daughters, Germaine (Leo) Lebfevre, Jackie (Louie) Belcourt, Lilliane (George) Lelkes, Isabelle (Norman) Belcourt, Eva (Guy) Lassard; 39 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Eugene Cote in 1963; and by her second husband, Charles in 1991; two sons, Euclide and Emile; four great-grandchildren, Laurent, Pierre, Dylan, and Cole; seven brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Annunciation Catholic Church, 163 Street and 95 Avenue, in Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
