PIERSON
Our little miracle Colton Gerald was born January 10, 2007 in Edmonton on the coldest day of the year and his earthly journey ended when the Lord called him home on May 31, 2007. Colton was a courageous little man that was wise beyond his years. He loved every day of life that God granted him. To many of us Colton was a normal little boy, yet he suffered a severe heart condition. He loved people and interacting with anyone who walked by. He was alert, happy and never wanted to miss anything. He enjoyed sitting on our laps, car rides, bath time and watching things go by. We were blessed to have the time we were allowed with our little hero. He was a brief flame in our lives that was extinguished way too early. Colton taught everyone to never take our days or lives for granted and always make the best out of a bad situation. He gave us way more in life than he took. His eagerness and smile always made our troubles melt away. He always greeted us in the morning with a smile and his dark eyes. He will be dearly missed by his dad and mom Owen & Ellen, his paternal grandparents Jug & Donna Pierson, his maternal grandparents Ern & Marj Russell, his great grandparents Reg & Berniece Knight, Auntie Sarah Russell, Uncle Mike and Donna, Sonya and Josh Pierson, Uncle David Russell, Auntie Teha, Neville and Will Hewines, Auntie Valerie and Mark Cameron and the girls Emma, Rebecca and Laura, numerous Great Aunts and Uncles and other relatives. A little touch of heaven Floated down from in the sky He only stayed a little while Left us to wonder why But we thank the Lord above us That we had him for a while We will remember Colton And his funny little smile We are thankful for his visit Now he's back there up above He gave us all some pleasure And he filled our hearts with Love -Papa Jug In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Stollery Childrens Hospital Foundation #8401, 4th Floor Aberhart Centre 11402 University Ave Edmonton, AB T6G 2J3 or the Lacombe Ambulance Service 5430-47th Ave Lacombe, AB T4L 1G8 in memory of Colton.
