We regret to announce the passing of Evelyn on March 11th, 2016 in Edson, Alberta at the age of 66 years.
Evelyn is survived by her son Scott (Cathy) Olydam and their children Kelsy, Kyle and Jesse Foley all of Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Also surviving is her mother Nancy Jager of Edson, Alberta and her siblings: Wilhelmina (Ken) Bateman and family of Vancouver, British Columbia, Johanna (Jim) Cunningham and family of Kelowna, British Columbia, Nancy (Bob) Wilson and family of Hinton, Alberta, Janet Massey and family of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Margaret (Wilbur) Apoll and family of Edson, Alberta, Bert Jager and family of Coleman, Alberta, Jackie Caouette and family of Coleman. Alberta, Vivian (George) Williams and family of Edson, Alberta and Fred Jager of Moberly Lake, British Columbia.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Evelyn was predeceased by her father Nanno Jager in 2000 as well as her sister Metje Jager and sister in law Minnie Jager.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Evelyn Brownlee.
HERBERT–JOHNSTON, Desiere Maye
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Desiere Maye on March 4th, 2016 at the tender age of 14 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her parents Leeann Herbert and Brad Johnston of Edson, Alberta
Also surviving is her brother Skyler Wilson of Edmonton, and her sister Maddison Procter of Edson, Alberta.
Desiere is also survived by her maternal grandparents Debra Shields of Edson, Alberta, Brian and Denise Herbert of Ponoka, Alberta, Bob Johnston of Edson, Alberta and Giselle Delorme of Red Deer, Alberta.
There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends left to mourn.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Edson Recreation Complex in the Weyerhaeuser Room.
In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to the Stollery Children’ s Hospital Foundation, 800 College Plaza, 8215-112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 2C8 in memory Desiere Maye Herbert Johnston.
CHIESA, Jerean “Jean”
On March 5th, 2016 our beloved mother Jean Chiesa passed away at the age of 87 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her loving daughters: Robin Youell of Edmonton, Alberta, Donna (Brian) Pillage and Dianne Chiesa of Edson, Alberta.
Also surviving are her grandchildren: Laura (Gord) Linnell of Calgary, Chris Youell of Edmonton, Alberta, Lonny (Amy) Pillage of Edson, Alberta and Danny (Maranda) Pillage of Edson, Alberta, as well as great grandchildren Max Linnell, Dowling Linnell and Drew Pillage.
There are numerous other relative and a host of friends left to mourn.
Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Nino in 2010, her parents Greta and Alexander McKay, son in law Jim Youell, brother Don McKay and sister Irene Morgan.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, Alberta with Father Varghese Munduvelil officiating.
Interment of cremated remains followed in Glenwood Cemetery, Edson, Alberta.

HOHNE, Maria
On June 24th, Maria Hohne of Edson, Alberta, passed away at the age of 82 years.
Maria is survived by her children; son Elmer (Bonnie) Hohne of Edson, Alberta and their children Heidi and Sabine, daughter Ingrid (Kevin) Roy of Abbotsford, British Columbia and their children Andre and Katherine as well as her siblings, Erica (Abraham) Hildebrandt and family of Chilliwack, British Columbia and John (Selma) Fast and family of Kelowna, British Columbia.
There are numerous other relatives and many friends left to mourn as well.
Maria was predeceased by her husband Helmut on November 16th, 2015 as well as her parents George and Anna Fast and siblings Erwin, George and Vern Fast.
Cremation has taken place and interment of cremated remains will follow at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, donations if desired may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Maria Hohne.
Walter August Schmidek

Died: Fri., Jun. 24, 2016
It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Walter August Schmidek of Hinton, Alberta, beloved husband of Marlene on June 24th, 2016 at the age of 82 years.
Besides his loving wife Marlene, Walter is survived by his children: daughters Sonny (John) Bennett, Debbie (Gary) Smith and son Lyle Schmidek.
Also surviving are his stepdaughters: Alyson (Leonard) Kneteman, Carol (Orey) Kneteman, Trish (Arlan) Delisle and Jeanene (Raymond) Mitchell as well as his grandchildren; Sherri (Kurtis) Muyers, Carmen (Ryan) Ireland, Ashley (Matt) Petkau, Chrissie Smith, Gina (Darren) Guidi. Megan (Clint) Wright, Athena Wells. Gabriel Schmidek, Jasmine Sage: step grandchildren, Tara (Grant) Acorn, Erin (Darren) Switzer, Lauren (Brian) Van Meetlan, Kelsey Kneteman, Nate Delisle, Sylvie Delisle, Isabella Mitchell and Elyana Mitchell; great grandchildren; Tao, Ava, Emma, Jacob, Lily, Camry, Cooper, Garrett and Nathan, step great grandchildren, Jaxon, Reese, Davis and Wyatt.
Walter is also survived by his sister Mary Hryniuk and sister in law Doreen Schmidek.
Walter was predeceased by his first wife Karen, his parents Rudolph and Wilhelmenia and brothers Wilfred and Elmer.
Funeral services for Walter August Schmidek took place on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Foothills Catholic Church in Hinton, Alberta and interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hinton, Alberta.

ANDERSON, William Donald
On June 3rd, 2016 William (Bill) Donald Anderson of Grande Cache, Alberta passed away in Grande Cache at the age of 77 years.
Bill is survived by his children; Cheryl (Mark) Hafso of New Sarepta and their children Keriann and David; Jenny (Boris) Cherviakoff of Red Deer County and their children, Miranda and her daughter Adabel, and Kyle; Heidi (Lance) Tofsrud of Cochrane and their children Ethan, Emma, and Liam; Darcy (Gloria) Anderson of Beaverlodge and their children Devin (Chandra) and their daughter Abigail, Kelsey (Shanna) and his sons Camden and Holden, Brett (Amanda), Torren and Madison.
Also surviving are his siblings: Bob (Liz) Anderson and family of Edson, Victor (Edith) Anderson and family in Arizona, and Gladys (Arne) Simon and family of Evansburg.
There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Bill is predeceased by his wife Yvonne on October 19th, 2014, his parents Harold and Henrietta Anderson and siblings Roy, Jim, Gerald, Donald, Harold (Dewey) and Bruce.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Thursday, June 9th, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Edson, Alberta.
Interment of cremated remains followed in Glenwood Cemetery.
