It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Durie announce her passing on June 20th 2006 at Bow View Manor, Calgary.
Dorothy was born in Eastend, Saskatchewan on September 14, 1915 and due to the early passing of her own mother, became the matriarch of her own family at a young age.
She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1946 and married William Allan Durie in 1948.
They moved to Calgary shortly afterward where Dorothy has lived, taught school and raised her family.
She took great pleasure in running into students who still remembered their days in her kindergarten class.
She will be lovingly remembered by Allan, her husband of fifty-seven years, her two daughters, Heather (Ron) and Debbie (Darcy); and her two granddaughters, Julia and Allison. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty and Hilda.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday June 26th at 10:00 AM.

Mr. Edward Allan Anderson
ANDERSON - Edward Allen, passed away in Calgary on June 19, 2006 at the age of 81 years.
Ed, loving father of Duwane (Yvonne) and Todd (Linda); loving grandfather of Jennifer and Aaron of Calgary; loving foster father of Debbie (Dusan) and loving companion to Judy Nicol.
He is also survived by: brothers, Jack, Ken, and Stan (Dorothy); sisters, Mary (Orest) Schur, Shirley (Ken) MacDonald.
Edward was Predeceased by: his wife, Florence Anderson; parents, Percy and Nellie Anderson; sister Joyce and sister-in-law Jean.
Ed was born in Castor, Alberta on January 7, 1925.
He started working for CP Rail in 1946 as a Engine Wiper and retired in 1985 as a Locomotive Engineer.
Ed will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and a good friend. May he rest in peace.

SWAIN - Joseph Michael passed away suddenly on June 15, 2006 at the age of 64 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by: his partner, Emma Tibbo; daughter Rhonda (Gary) Harris; son Charles (Heather); grandchildren, Brittany and Jordan; brothers, Thomas (Marg), Michael, Charlie (Barb), Pat (Denise), Jim (Juanita); sisters Imelda (Bernard) Farrell and Mary-Ann as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Mrs. Mong Wah Cheung
CHEUNG, Mong-Wah, beloved wife of Mr. Kwok-Ho Chiu of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on June 15, 2006, at the age of 76 years.
Mong (Mrs. Chiu) will be lovingly remembered by: her children, Siu-Miu of Macau, Francis (Angela), Maryann Siu-May, Mona Siu-Nei and her grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa and Teresa.
She was predeceased by her loving husband.

Mr. George Kuklisin
KUKLISIN - George Kuklisin, beloved husband of Loretta Kuklisin, of Chestermere, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre at the age of 72 years.
Besides his wife, George will be lovingly remembered by his children: Wendy (Ian) Murray, Joanne (Tim) Nicholl, Kevin (Debbie) Kuklisin; four grandchildren: Kelsey, Emily, Sarah and Cody and numerous other relatives.
A Celebration of George's life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.

OMELCHUK, Steve
1917 ~ 2006
Steve Omelchuk, born December 17, 1917 in Chipman, AB, passed away peacefully at the Newport Harbour Care Centre in Calgary on Friday, April 28, 2006 at the age of 88 years.
Steve will be lovingly remembered by his son Bruce, daughter-in-laws Janie and Mimi, five grandchildren: Jeremy, Chad, Matthew, Todd and Troy; great-grandchild Noah; sister Olga; brother Ed and by many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Steve was predeceased by Clara, his loving wife of 61 years and son Wayne.
The family would especially like to thank the nurses, caregivers and staff at the Newport Harbour Care Centre for their outstanding care, concern and kindness.
A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.
