FLETT - Orval Flett, passed away on July 5, 2006 at the Foothills Hospital surrounded by loved ones at the age of 89 years.
Orval lived out his entire life on the Flett homestead in the Hand Hills.
He is survived by his sister June and brother-in-law Les Campbell, brother-in-law Fred Courtney and sisters-in-law Jean and Aileen Flett.
Orval leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Mary and Randy James.
He is predeceased by his parents Lester and Mildred Flett. Brothers: Elmer, Lloyd, Gordon, Marvin, Ralph and Dale.
Sisters: Olive (Dick) Cosgrave, Orlo (Lawrence) Hickey, Mary (John) McNab and Ilene Courtney.
Nephews: Kerry Flett, Bob Cosgrave and Richard Cosgrave.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Drumheller Regional Hospital, Foothills Hospital and STARS Air Ambulance.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Hand Hills Lake Clubhouse (www.handhills.ab.ca) on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 11:00 am.

OEL - Joseph Henry
December 28, 1935 ~ June 20, 2006
Joseph Henry Oel, Mardi’s best friend of 28 years, passed away after a brief battle with cancer.
Besides his loving wife, Joe is survived by four daughters, Candace Bergen, Janice Dickson, Kathy (David) Spratt, Lori Jo (Sam) Amberiadis; nine grandchildren; and sister Diane (Neil) Pfeifer as well as many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a memorial tribute may be made to the Troy and Meagan Dickson Trust Fund at any TD Canada Trust, Joe’s grandchildren who recently lost their father.

Mrs. Lise Crichton
CRICHTON - Lise Crichton of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on June 21, 2006, at the age of 62 years.
Lise will be lovingly remembered by: her mother, Margaret Bouchard; her children, Scott (Gwen), Sean, Leah (Jason Campbell); her grandchildren, Daniele, Trent, Rylee, Krystina and Grace; her best friend Neil Crichton; two brothers, three sisters and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her father Fern Bouchard. “Madame” was a well loved and respected teacher at George McDougall High School in Airdrie.
Her life impacted thousands of students and she was able to remember every one of them.
Most importantly she was a dedicated mom and an enthusiastic grandmother.
A Celebration of Lise’s life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Mansel Jones
JONES - Mansel Jones, beloved husband of Myrtle Jones, of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 21, 2006 at the age of 92 years.
Besides his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his children: Vivian Jones and Ross Sinclaire; sister Thelma Lockhart; nieces: Lori (Ray) Mummery, Vera Goodman, Shirley (Dennis) Teeling, Shiela (Reg) Riemche and numerous other relatives. Mansel was predeceased by his brothers Lloyd Jones and Wilmer Jones.
Mansel started out as a farmer, became a preacher for a short period of time and then met Myrtle and settled in Shaunavon, SK where he worked in a hardware store.
He became interested in plumbing and in 1952 moved to Moose Jaw where he started his own plumbing and heating business with his brother Wilmer.
He was very successful and was able to sell his business and pursue different interests by the early 60s.
He worked on many inventions throughout his lifetime.
At one point, he manufactured steel buildings which he designed.
He also patented some of his ideas about harvesting the Alberta Oil Sands as well as patenting an insulated building block.
In 1971, Myrtle and he moved to Calgary to be closer to both Vivian and Ross.
Mansel and Myrtle faithfully attended the Full Gospel Church in downtown Calgary.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Mountain View Funeral Home on Sunday, June 25, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Mila Francisco
FRANCISCO - Mila Francisco, beloved wife of Bert (Boy) Francisco, of Calgary, passed away after a long battle with cancer, at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 61 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gil (fiance Jamie Schmidt) and her daughter Tammy; her sister Luz (Pat) Alda; her brother Carlito (Ruby) Jamorol and numerous relatives.
Mila loved to garden and boasted colorful flowers to decorate the yard every year.
She enjoyed a rich life of travel and held God close to her heart.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at Mountain View Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 27, Wednesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
