KINSEY, MALDWYN (MEL) JAMES - In the late hours of Saturday, October 27, 2007, Mel passed away at the age of 65 years.
Mel is survived by his loving wife Mary of 42 years, his loving daughter Shannon (Guy) and loving son Jason (Darlene), five grandchildren; Casey, Charlene, Conner, Jordan and Jaylene. Mel was part of the lives of many family members and friends. He was also loved and will be missed by his brothers; Harold (Elsie) and Tom (Judy) and his sister, Susan (Mike). Also brothers-in-law, Gerald (Brenda) and Allan and his sister-in-law Brenda (Ray). He will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews; Todd, Robby (Lana), Caid, Leslie (Randy), Holly, Kelsey (Ken), Janie (Robin), Tanya (Greg), Breanna and Caid, great nephews; Jake, Curtis, Jesse and Parker. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Arthritis Society of Alberta, 307-10109-106 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5J 3L7.
Mr Lyle George Korber
August 9, 1937 - October 27, 2007
KORBER, LYLE GEORGE - It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lyle Korber. Lyle passed away peacefully at the University Hospital on Saturday, October 27, 2007.
Born August 9, 1937 to Herschel & Ila Korber, Lyle spent the first few years of his life in Sangudo until his family moved to Edmonton where Lyle resided until his death. Lyle leaves behind Marion, his loving wife of 40 years; his brother Earl, sister-in-law, Leona (Lee), his nephews, Collin Korber, Brad (Raya) Korber and two grandnieces, Reagan and Lauren. He will be sadly missed by his numerous friends, in particular the men from Woodward's with whom Lyle worked for his entire career. Lyle was an ardent golfer and curled many years in the Woodward's Curling League.
Lyle requested that no service be held. Condolences may be sent to the korbs@shaw.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Mrs. Violet May Forester
July 22, 1922 - October 28, 2007
FORESTER, VIOLET MAY - On October 28, 2007 Violet Forester of Millet passed away at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sharon, two grandchildren; Victoria (Lee) and Steven (Michele), and four great grandchildren; Scott, Sarah, Seth and Kobe. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. Violet was predeceased by her husband George and son Lyle. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
Mr. Otto Paul Younghans
June 26, 1929 - October 30, 2007
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Mr. Otto Younghans at the age of 78 years.
Otto is survived by brothers Peter (Marg) Younghans, Paul Jr. (Selma) Younghans, sister Annie Sadoway, nieces and nephews: Natalie, David, Jamie-Lynn, Sarah, Susan, Silas and Maxwell, Shirley (Louis) Haselwood and Jeffrey (Leah) Haselwood, Robert (Crystal) Malmas and family, Wayne (Leslie) Johns and Wayne Jr., Wendy-Rae (Mike) Moes and family, Weida (Thomas) Kingma and family, Wesla (Jason) Wall, Wynne Johns, Diane (Lorne) Beitz, Raymond (Nina) Beitz, Robbie (Dawn) Beitz and family, Kenny (Anne) Beitz and family, Bradley (Lori) Beitz, Linda (Allan) Dumkee, Shelly (Rick) Morrison and family, Todd (Jennifer) Dumkee, and his cousins Eric Younghans and Fritz Younghans and families.
Otto was predeceased by his parents Paul and Anna Younghans, brother Walter, sister Gertrude Johns and two infant sisters and brothers-in-law Paul Sadoway and Charlie Johns and his niece Rita Johns.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road. Cremation has taken place.
Donations in memory of Otto may be made to the Alberta STARS Foundation.
Mr. Orest Tarkowski

On Monday, November 5, 2007, Orest Tarkowski of Edmonton passed away at the age of 63 years of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth; three children, Michelle (Douglas) Fradette, Kevin (Elaine), Ryan (Holly); five grandchildren, Evan, Madison, Tyler, Owen and Brendan; four brothers and two sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
