Mr. Peter Edwin Rose
May 11, 1949 - March 8, 2008
Beloved husband of Margaret (a true lifelong friend) and a devoted and much loved father to his children, Richard, David and Catherine. Precious son of Nora and John, and a truly loved “big brother” to Helen, Richard, Lorna, Francis and Ann. A man very much loved by numerous nephews and nieces, family and friends, both near and far. Pete was finally able to ‘let go’ and transition to the other side - where we feel sure he will be running, swimming and cycling with a smile on his face, and his brother Michael at his side. The mark that we make on other people’s lives is truly what life is about, and Pete has deeply touched many hearts throughout his lifetime. He was dearly loved, respected and admired. A true ‘Gem’- Keep shining Pete! Our love always, from your devoted family and many friends. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held on Wednesday the 12th of March, 2008 at 2pm at St. John's Anglican Church Hall, 3295 Cobble Hill Road, Cobble Hill, B.C. No flowers please. Donations made to your favourite charities on behalf of Pete gratefully accepted.

Dorothy enjoyed a close bond with her brothers Bill and Don (both predeceased) and their families. Special thanks go out to her friend Suan, her long-time family physician Dr. Wm. Dymon and the caring professionals at the B.C Cancer Agency and Palliative Care at Richmond General Hospital. We will be remembering Dorothy in an immediate family celebration of her life. We invite all her family and friends in Toronto and Vancouver to share (perhaps dance!) in their own private remembrances of her zest and enthusiasm for life.
