CLYSDALE, Sara Lynn, born March 21, 1985, passed away suddenly January 2, 2008. Survived by her loving husband, Ian Wards and daughter Cheyanne born December 8, 2007, father Tim Wilson, mother Paula Wilson, sisters Samantha and Erin, her grandparents, aunts and many friends. A reception will be held at Coast Hotel Convention Centre (Mackie Room), 20393 Fraser Highway, Langley, 1:00-4:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2008.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Louise who leaves behind her daughter, Marriette (Mimi) Greenall, her son Kim and daughter-in-law (Kimberley) Greenall; 5 grandchildren - Tammy (Clint), Angela, Crystal, Tyler & Tanner; 3 great-grandchildren - Cheri Dayton & Kiana.
Louise had a short stint with the Royal Canadian Airforce before becoming a hair dresser in 1945. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening, water skiing, camping and always loved spending time with her family.
Mom (Grandma & Great-Grandma), we love you, miss you and will always have you in our thoughts!
May your gardens always be in bloom.
Celebration of life is planned for Saturday July 23rd from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at 3053 - 228th Street, Langley.

McQUAY, JOHN FRASER, aged 86, passed away peacefully in Langley on January 1st, 2008. Survived by his loving wife Florence; daughters Annie Landels (Bruce), Irene Dray; grandchildren Wesley Landels (Leslie), Kristina Weys (Paul), Jason Landels (Charity), Michael Dray (Keri), Roberta McNeil (Ian); nieces and nephews Judy Walker (Doug), Robert Collyer (Leona), Dave Collyer, Stephen Collyer (Sandy), Jack Hulbert (Vicki), as well as many relatives and friends. He is pre-deceased by sister Ellen Hulbert; sister Jeanne Collyer; and brothers-in-law Don Collyer, and George Hulbert; and nephew Barry Hulbert. A memorial service will be held at Fort Langley St. Andrews United Church, 9025 Glover Rd. on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Garnet passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a lengthy battle with C.O.P.D. Survived by his wife Barbara, sons Ron(Lisa), Mike(Crystal), Rob and daughter Laurie(Ken). "Papa" will be sadly missed by his "special angels" grandchildren Jason, Krysta, Cole, Sierra, Ashton & Landon. No service as per Garnet's request. "Gone Golfing" Wait for us on the 19th hole.

Frances passed away peacefully at the Langley Lodge on Feb. 26th, 2008 at the age of 93. Frances will be lovingly remembered by her son Bill, (Marilyn) Booth of Langley and her daughter Pat, (Gord) McAninch of Langley and her grandchildren; Karen, Cheryl, Darcie, Kerri, Jodie and her great-grandchildren; Mike, Georgia, Sophia, Taylor & Tanner.
Frances was pre-deceased by her husband Harry Booth and by her daughter Bonnie Vanderveen. The family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff at the Langley Lodge, for all their care and devotion where Frances called home for over eight years.
Frances was born in Calgary, Alberta where she embarked on a life spent in service to others. She moved to England to pursue a career in Nursing. While in training, World War II broke out and Frances joined the Canadian Army as a Nursing Sister. After the War she returned to Alberta where she married Harry and started her family. Frances continued with her nursing career in both Alberta and B.C. making a difference in many peoples' lives.
Frances was dedicated to all her family, actively enjoyed all her grandchildren. Frances will be remembered for her love of travel, gardening, literature and her delightful outspoken demeanor.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Langley Legion (20702 Eastleigh Crescent) on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations may be made to the Langley Lodge (5451-204th Street, Langley) in her memory.

Leonard Allen Brill passed away suddenly at the age of 66 years young. Len was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Wendy Donna Brill; sons, Leonard Brill, Barry Brill, David Daniels (Misty); daughters, Serena Brill, Sheila Brill; grandchildren, Ryan Brill, Shelby Brill, Brienna Cabral, Emily Cabral as well as many relatives and friends. He is pre-deceased by his loving mother Olga Brill: brothers, Andy Brill, Donny Brill and Walter Brill. Lenny, as he was know by his friends, was known for his carefree, generous and adventurous nature. He had a bottomless amount of love for his family. His grandchildren and all children who knew him will miss his playfulness and stories. He loved his Moto Guzzi and was a true "Ford" man at heart. Through his trails and adversities he always had a smile and a joke. He was generous and friendly to family and strangers alike. Len was a great man who showed his family how to love; how to forgive; how to smile and how to laugh. For those who would like to celebrate his life, a viewing will be held at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home located at 20786 Fraser Highway on March 13th from 4:00pm to 5:00 pm. There will be an open house at his residence all day. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Harold Eli Cooper, husband of Nadia, father and grandfather and friend to many, passed away in Langley on March 2, 2008 at 3:40 in the afternoon. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Harold was born in Neilburg, Saskatchewan on December 30, 1935. He was raised in rural Alberta on the family farm (Vega & Jarvie), cold winters never agreed with Harold and in 1954 he moved to Vancouver to get warm. He worked at the Canadian National Railway in Vancouver for 22 years as a Red Cap. Nadia and Harold married in 1959 raising a family together in Vancouver and moved to Aldergrove in 1979 to retire.
Harold is survived by his loving wife Nadia, his children, Harold (Karolyne), Gary (Brenda), and Karen (Ed) and his Mother in-law Vera Omelaniec and six grandchildren and many more close family and friends.

Violet joined her Lord on February 27, 2008 at 88 years of age. She is survived by her devoted husband, Eldon Boettger of North Langley, son Paul (Kathy) of Minneapolis, MN, daughter Judy Shantz of Calgary, AB, and Arlene (Rodney) Schafer of Ferndale, WA., and four grandchildren, Dennis (Katie), Amanda, Alisha and Carrie; sister Phyllis (John) Knoll of Caistor Centor, Ontario, brother Herbert (Helen) Lehman of Toronto, ON and their families. Violet was born in Toronto, ON on November 14, 1919. She married her husband of 60 years November 29, 1947 while serving their Lord for 21 years in Nigeria, West Africa. After retiring from the mission field in 1967, she and Eldon lived for 12 years in Ontario before moving to Sicamous, B.C. where they lived for 25 years. In 2000 they moved to Walnut Grove, Langley, B.C. She was endeared by all who knew her and particularly remembered for her beautiful voice and God given piano playing abilities. Violet was pre- deceased by her loving parents George & Katie Lehman and sisters; Irene (Harold) McKinney, Lenora (Orville) Glauser, Dorothy (Tom) McMullen, Hazel (Reg) Howe and nephews and nieces Bruce, Fern, Nancy Mae, Louise and Keith. The family wishes to thank Dr. M. Adamson and the staff of the Langley Hospice for the loving and gentle care given Violet during the last weeks of her life. Tom passed away peacefully in Langley Hospital with his wife Celee and his family by his side. He will be dearly missed by all.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he is pre-deceased by his dad William, his mom Mary and his sisters Francis and Elizabeth. He is survived by his oldest sister Marguerite. He will always be loved and remembered by Celee and sons Mark (Joyce), Michael (Tracy), daughters Mary (Don) Antosko, Peggy Davis, Marlene (Ric) Shortreed and Myra (Brian) Mahoney, grandchildren Christine, Katie, Jessica, Sarah, Aaron, Christina, Dexter, Jeremy, Kelsey, Nicole, Blair, Erik, Mataya, Ryley, Brennan, Connor and Shay. Four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Braden, Riley and Lucas.
Tom was an active member in the Langley Lions, transferring to this club in 1983 from Prince George.
Many thanks to Dr. Stephany and Dr. Nair for their years of care. Tom was in the hospital for two weeks and we can't say enough about the excellent and compassionate care the nursing staff of 2 South gave him. God bless them.
A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home in Langley on Saturday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m.
