Richard is survived by his loving family: Rosemary his wife of 42 years; 3 children, Rod (Holly), Ken (Kimiko) and Pat; 3 grandchildren, Isaiah, Rebecca and Caleb; sister Laura (Verne) Steele and many other relatives and friends.
There will be a memorial service Tuesday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

This Grandma was a great woman. She was important to her family and friends for countless reasons, and her company alone could help people feel better about themselves.
"Look after her; remove from her the means of all annoyance...So good night." (Macbeth). She is pre-deceased by her father Arthur Freeman. she is survived by her mother Dorothy Freeman, sisters Janice Wisdom, Scarlet Coule, Penny Frees, Dixie Sylvester and brother Joseph Freeman, her children Dorothy Nelson, Desiree DaSilva, Perry Bates, Jason Frees and Travis Frees. She was so proud of her grandkids Georgia, Arnold, Graham, Brandon, Jayme, Taylor, Tristan, Kayla, Katie, Becky, Jessica, Travis, Karl & Che.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 6 p.m. at Camp River Community Hall, 50246 Camp River Rd., Rosedale, B.C.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine Lumby on February 19, 2008. She left us with peace, grace and dignity. Kaye was born in Lavoy, Alberta and is survived by Bill, her loving husband of 61 years; her son Rick; daughter Karen (John); her brother Richard; sisters, Mary and Rose; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Kaye will always be remembered for her mild manner and beautiful smile, brightening up any room she entered. Her family was her life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Many thanks to the nurses and staff of Menno Hospital for their kindness and care. A family celebration will be announced at a later date. For those desiring, donations made in Kaye's memory to a charity of your own choosing would be most appreciated.

Mom passed away peacefully at home on September 1 at the age of 94. Lovingly remembered by son Dale (Heather), daughter Sharmaine (Greg), stepchildren Vicki, Sandi, Rod, Heather, numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and longtime friend Kay. Laura was pre-deceased by husband James Henry, daughter Lorraine and stepdaughter Sheila. Mom loved gardening and enjoying her many animals. No service by her request.

BATES, Joshua Manfred Charles George - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved son, brother, grandson and friend who was taken from us suddenly in Walnut Grove on August 29, 2007 at the age of 6 years. Josh loved life. He was a sweet and kind little boy with a heart of gold. His endless energy ans spirit was just that of a boy who played hard. Joshua will be lovingly remembered by his parents Melissa and Cameron, brothers Christian and Nicholas; sisters Paige and Brooke; grandparents Manfred (Linda) Goebel; Charles (Paulette)Bates; many aunties and uncles, family and friends. A service to celebrate Joshua's life will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 12:00 pm from St. Georges Anglican Church, 9160 Church Street in Fort Langley with burial at Fort Langley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to James Kennedy Elementary Playground Fund at the Willoughby or Walnut Grove Save On Foods as well as Saint George's Anglican Church in Fort Langley. Gwen passed away in Langley after a brief illness. Predeceased by husband Fred, she leaves a daughter Sandra (Gary) of Chilliwack and grandchildren David and Christy. Gwen was a resident of North Vancouver from 1965 to 1996 before moving to Langley. Baking, knitting, crosswords, travel and volunteering kept her busy in retirement. Mom loved the Lord and so we celebrate her "home going" with a memorial service Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 pm at Brookswood Baptist Church in Langley.

It is with profound grief and sadness that the family of Christopher J. Harman announces his passing away. He left us at 4:23 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
Loving him and missing him are his wife, Gale and two daughters Malea and Leilahni Harman.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Jim and Therese Harman; survived by his beloved mother and father-in-law, Belle and Joe Setynski, siblings John (Dimsie), Richard (Pat), Monika (Lou), Bernadette (Joan), Theresa (Joanne), Isobel (Pete) along with in-laws Sandy (Gord), Gus (Darlene), Earl (Alex), Pat (Bob) Sue (Brendan) John (Stacey), nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Speers, Jann (nee Douglas) aged 66 years, left us on May 8th, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. We will remember her strength and kindness, and her incredible spirit. She passed peacefully at home in the comfort of close friends and family, the way she wanted. She is survived by her husband, George Speers and his family, her mother, Mabe Wilding and daughters, Shannon Todd Booth and husband Paul Booth, Linnea Falk and husband Darren Falk, and also by her grandchildren, Zoe, Hope, Todd and Chad and her best friend in the world, Marie Norquay, and so many others that knew and loved her; she will be truly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16th, 2008 at Personal Alternative Funeral Services at 3070 - 275A Street, Aldergrove, BC.
