PATTERSON, BRUCE
65 Years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, after a lengthy illness that was fought with courage & determination. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pat, daughter Lorrie (Greg), son Cliff (Anita), grandsons Matthew, Brendan and Logan, and another grandchild on the way, sister Linda (Ralph), and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mom Ellen, dad Wilfred, brother Barry, and mother-in-law Fay. Bruce was a Foreman for the City of Vancouver Streets Department for 26 years. Bruce will be sadly missed by his fishing buddies. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 8th, 2007 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. Reception to follow at the Patterson Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung & Heart Association.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary-Lou; his sons David and Rick; Grandsons Gary and Joel; Sisters Verna Johnston and Lillian Gibson as well as many relatives and friends. There will be no service at Andy’s request, however family and friends are invited to celebrate his memory Saturday December 8th at 2:00 P.M. at his home 6540 – 196th Street Langley. It is with profound sadness that the family of Connie, our mother, grandmother and matriarch of the family, passed away quietly with family by her side. Pre-deceased by Jan, her husband of fifty-seven years, survived by children: Margaret (Peter), and Corrie, grandchildren: Kyle (Michelle), Rodney (Evelyn), Monique (Darren) and Sara (Todd), great-grandchildren: Bailey, Willa, Mitchell, Rowan and Finley. The Funeral Service was held in Maple Ridge.

HITCHCOCK, Janet Anne (nee Ritchie) aged 47 years died at the Shirley Dean Hospice in Surrey on November 26, 2007 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband Bill and her cherished daughter Lindsay, as well as her parents Jim and Lorraine Ritchie and her brother Ian of Pointe Claire QC. We would like to thank all the staff at the Shirley Dean Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Janet and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shirley Dean Hospice would be welcome. Strong willed & kind hearted, a loving person who'll be missed by everyone who knew him. Cherished and remembered by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy and children. Son Michael, daughter Gail and son-in-law Reg Wagner. Grandchildren Kristopher, Shannon and Ellie, great-grandchildren Logan and Ellie. FAST, Alvin Peter, passed away on September 12, 2006, in Langley, B.C., the day after celebrating his 63rd wedding anniversary with Nell. Alvin was born in Laird, Saskatchewan, January 26, 1917. He will be remembered and deeply missed by his loving wife Helen "Nell"; his sons, Harry (Penny), Richard (Mindy) and Mel (Gayle); his grandchildren, Kevin, Chris, Jonathan and Travis. Alvin is survived, also, by his sister, Verna and his brothers, Bob, John and Vic. Grateful thanks to his friends, Sallie and Gail Aitken, Dr. Leo Wong and the staff at Harrison Landing and LMH. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandma. She will be greatly missed by her children John, Pat and Eileen (Barry); grandchildren John (Kerri), Kristian (Rebecca), Bruce (Tara), Janet, Carmel (Alkis), Cherith (James), and David; Great-grandchildren Kristian, Brendan, Jonha, Athena, Thanasis, Christina, Amanda, Tyler, Bradly, Jared and Jaden. She was pre-deceased by her husband Jul (Slim) in 1986. Mom's greatest joy in life was her family and her garden. She lovingly watched them both grow. We would like to thank Mary and Jim and the people at Parkview Terrace for making her stay there so happy. We would also like to thank Dr. Cooper for all his caring. Not one for a lot of fuss there will be a family only service.

He was pre-deceased in January, 2006 by Winifred Evelyn, his loyal wife of 63 years. It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bill Hibbert in Langley, B.C. He will be forever loved by his daughter Bailey Sieben, Cold Lake AB, parents Shirley Hibbert (Ed) and Tom Hibbert (Georgette), sisters Melanie Friesen (Martin) and Debi Hibbert, grandmother Florence Hibbert and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and mountain biking. Bill was known for his sense of humor, free spirit and love for family, friends and music. He worked for 7 years at Canada Safeway in Langley, 7 years in Fort McMurray with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union Local 146 and most recently began an apprenticeship with the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 280. A memorial service will be held on January 25, 2008 at 2:00pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831 28 Ave, Surrey, B.C.
